Afterword.
Hi, this is D, officially known as Kalliel.
The main story for [I Raised The Heroine Wrong!] has concluded with some 160 cases and 3 interludes, spanning just over a year. Firstly, thank you to everyone who has been with Cecilia on her journey, and I hope you felt something good reading her story.
Life has been quite busy for me since I started writing [IRTHW!]. Even now, I don't remember exactly how the idea for the novel came to me. Still, I certainly had a good time with it. There were roadblocks and burnouts on the way here, but here we are—at a happy ending.
I don't have much to say regarding how the plot unraveled. I feel that it has some points to improve. Some parts read a bit frustrating for me as well. This is because I did not have a concrete outline to follow, plus many details weren't thought out beforehand, so to meet deadlines, I had to improvise a lot. It's something I want to improve on in my next projects.
In the end, I am nonetheless satisfied with my work. Once again, it is thanks to the support you, the readers, have shown that I had the motivation to finish this story. I truly appreciate your attention.
As for the afterstory, if I decide to write one, it will be a collection of short bits showing the future of the main cast, kind of like a series of one-shots. If I do find the time for them, I'll try my best.
One last bit of trivia before I end this segment—about Cecilia and Penelope's names. Those who read [LNELIAW] up to a certain point would know that I am a big fan of the game [Brown Dust] and its sequel. Many names of those within the games were adopted by characters from my stories. 'Cecilia' was one such case, but for Penelope, it was the heroine of [Death Is the Only Ending for the Villainess]—Penelope Eckart, that inspired the name.
That's about everything I want to say now. Let's meet again in another tale, perhaps, and let's hope for Cecilia's happiness in the future.
Have a good day.
This is D.
''Err... goodbye, I guess?''
