Case 133: To a not-so-sisterly cuddle.
When Lyra returned to the Orleans mansion, the sun had just set.
She'd spent several days battling the monster and nearly one more to hunt the demon spy. It felt as though she had been out for a month. Yet, she patiently sorted out the house's urgent work and took a bath before heading to Cecilia's room.
The heroine's steps accelerated along the cold hallway. She noticed a familiar maid who also had the same destination as hers.
''Ah, my lady.'' Mary, upon noticing Lyra, politely bowed. ''Welcome back.''
''Mhm.''
Seeing that Mary was holding a silver tray of warm food, likely Cecilia's dinner, Lyra smoothly took it from her and resumed her path. Naturally, the maid didn't have any objections.
Standing before the door, Lyra hesitated before opening the door. She desperately wanted to see that woman. She'd longed for Cecilia's warmth ceaselessly during the mission, and it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that all her fatigue would vanish if she could hold Cecilia.
But at the same time, she was afraid—afraid that when she turned the doorknob and pushed her way in, she would see that dreadful scene again. Of Cecilia, kneeling in front of a pool of blood, coughing so dryly it makes the hearers hiss in pain. Sweat wet her skin, piercing into her red-stained white dress.
And her haunting expression of pain.
Sometimes, Lyra wished she could just encase Cecilia in a block of ice so that her time would stop. Then, she would have all the time in the world to burn the archdemon to a crisp.
''Hah...''
The heroine rubbed her temples, trying to regain her composure.
In the end, Lyra still opened the door and stepped in. A familiar scent, like that of the most fragrant flower, filled her nose. Even the moonlight pouring in felt infinitely gentler, as though enchanted by the presence of the blue-haired woman.
If this were Cecilia's raw, unenhanced allure, let alone her succubus power, then it wasn't a strange thing that those princesses fell for her. Lyra bitterly smiled.
''Oh, Lyra! You're back!''
The foolish woman showed a glimpse of surprise before a look of pure delight spread on her face. She set aside the book in her hands and crawled toward Lyra on the bed, dragging the chains along.
Cecilia dressed lightly, exposing much of her thighs and cleavage. The way she propped herself up with those delicate wrists, the way her silky hair swayed lazily—those unconsciously coquettish movements stirred Lyra's desires. Truthfully, her naive and somewhat expectant face could taunt even the most restrained ones.
It was as if Cecilia's entire body was made for intimate cuddling.
Lyra took a sharp breath, settling the food before flopping down beside the woman. Unlike before, where she had to hold back, the heroine boldly seized Cecilia's slender waist, nuzzling at her shoulder.
''T-This again?!'' The bullied woman's voice was helpless. ''Do you only ever think about perverted stuff...?''
'I only think about you.'
Was what Lyra tried to reply with, but she held back. Not because she couldn't or wouldn't say it, instead... her lips were already busy nibbling Cecilia's tender skin.
''Stop, stop, it'll leave a mark!''
Lyra, hearing the trembling voice close to her ears, almost dripping with honey, finally couldn't hold back anymore. She caught Cecilia's wrists and pushed her down onto the bed, taking her bashful expression into view.
Lacking the royal power to back her up, Cecilia's strength was pitifully nonexistent. She wailed, yet even that was weak, like a caged little bird, an innocent lamb to be slaughtered. Her lascivious lips lightly parted, moaning, while her destructive chest rose and sank, wantonly unstable as her mostening eyes.
The heroine smiled wryly, wondering how she had managed not to assault this woman until now.
''Mhmp...''
Cecilia was kissed on the lips.
The heroine pushed as far as she could, enjoying her love's softness as a way to recharge. The heated silence stretched until Cecilia was forced to push the other person away, heaving labored breaths.
Lyra didn't mind it much, instead burrowing her face between Cecilia's mountains. She could hear quickened heartbeats. Thumping.
Somehow, it made her mood much better. So, she closed her eyes, unmoving.
''This...'' Cecilia was speechless.
She never met a little sister so shameless before. Provided, Lyra was the first one she raised. A sort of petty anger swelled, and Cecilia lightly slapped the girl's head, ''Get up!''
Lyra remained burrowed, inhaling greedily.
''G-Get up! I'm hungry!''
Only then did the heroine groggily sit up. She pulled Cecilia to settle on her lap, leaving no escape, and picked up the spoon. The somewhat petite woman shuddered, yet she showed no sign of struggling. Perhaps she had given up retaliation completely, or she didn't mind it anymore.
But bit by bit, the dinner was fed, and Cecilia soon felt 'fuller.'
In reality, she was still starving, but maybe this artificial 'fullness' could distract her just a little. At these moments, she couldn't help but long for the ordinary life she had before her transmigration. But whether she preferred her old life without Lyra, Rachael, Penelope, and Kiara... she wouldn't know.
The heroine, as if hearing something in Cecilia's weary sigh, once again pulled her down. She hugged the woman's delicate shoulders, hopefully warming her up, even if it was only for a small stretch.
''Cecilia.''
''Mhm?''
''Is it true that the vampire princess prefers hot blood heated with fire?''
''Huh? That... I mean, she does... but what's with the sudden question?''
Cecilia's tone was clearly confused. Though Lyra paid her no mind and continued to ask the near-trivia queries. Once everything was answered, she had successfully weirded out Cecilia.
''Lyra... how do you know those things...?''
Facing a wary expression, Lyra forcefully changed the topic, ''...About your succubus absorption.''
''W-What?''
''Does it have to be semen? Or you can 'eat' other ways?''
The heroine's frankness was unmatched. Cecilia visibly got flustered, averting her gaze urgently, ''S-Semen is the most effective way. Females'... stuff also works. Mhm. I'm not sure about others...''
''Is there a difference between eating an ordinary person's and a magically active one's?''
''...At my rank, not much. The 'food' would have to be at Kiara's level or above for their life force to matter.'' Cecilia sighed. ''...But why are we talking about this!? Stop fooling around and sleep! You still have to travel a lot, okay?''
Lyra's smile was thin as she held Cecilia even closer, completely drowning in her scent and presence, ''Okay.''
''Ugh...''
Cecilia, meanwhile, was powerless. She felt Lyra's breath on her nape, felt Lyra's arms locking her even tighter than the chains, and felt but a little comfortable.
If the other person weren't so perverted and insolent, it would have been a perfect sisterly cuddle moment. Yet, when she felt the reddening spot where the heroine had bitten, all hopes for such a bond were lost.
'...This isn't sisterly at all!'
