It’s a date!!

Darkness was slowly washed away from me as I felt my body awakening from it's slumber.

From the tip of my toe to the top of my head, I felt the nerves in them sparking to life. My heavy eyes, once weary and tired, slowly opened to reveal the light of day to me.

My vision was blurry at first but soon it was cleared and I stared at the ceiling of my room. I did not blink as I feared I would not be able to open my eyes again and return to sleep.

I just stared at the ceiling with unblinking eyes. My mind shrugged off the remnant of the dreams I had and focused on the reality before me.

I yawned widely as my body began shifting it's gears. It was no longer time to rest and sleep, it was now time to work.

I tried to get up but then I felt a weight on my right side. I couldn't see since the blanket was covering it so I pulled the blanket away.

My eyes caught on the gorgeous brown fur. It was fluffy and majestic at the same time.

Kurumi was sleeping while laying at my side. I noticed my right arm was under her body while her head was snuggled between the mattress and my back.

I pulled my right arm away and my cute wolfie began stirring awake.

"For an animal you are very bad at waking up early." I said and she yawned widely, seemingly not bothered by my words.

"No seriously, I thought pets are suppose to wake up their owner early in the morning." I said while wrapping my arms around her and cuddling with her.

Even though she was a wolf, I felt her purring.

"Yaaauuuh~" She let out lazy sounds, an attempt to communicate with me. Maybe.

It has been almost two complete weeks since I had adopted Kurumi and in those short time, we have gotten used to each others presence and habits.

At this point she was a part of my life now. A part of my routine.

"Get up. We are going to the park." I said and she immediately perked up. Her ears and tails stood in attention and all her drowsiness vanished into thin air.

She leaped off the bed and went inside the bathroom. I shook my head, still amazed at the fact that she knew she should do her business in the bathroom.

Few moments later she got out and I noticed her face was a little wet. She swiftly moved around my room and barked, urging me to get up soon.

I also got out of bed and made my bed. Then I went to the bathroom to freshen up and also to pee.

After that, I changed into my training clothes which consists of simple jogging pants, sneakers and a comfortable shirt which fit me perfectly and showed my awesome shape.

Then we went down to the kitchen where I boiled some hot water for my mother to use when she would make breakfast and I also made a healthy shake.

I also did not forget to share with Kurumi and then we were off to the park.

Kurumi was always running in front and she was excited as she always was. I followed behind while using the sun breathing. My breathing was rhythmic and controlled while I ran after Krurmi without being tired on our way to the park.

After reaching the park, Kurumi ran off somewhere I did not know while I sat down beneath a tree and began my training.

In this passing days, I have tried to obtain a supernatural skill again, like I did with the sun breathing.

And this time I was trying to achieve a skill called bullet time.

It was a technique in which you force your heart to beat more than 400 times in a single minute. This pumped extreme adrenaline in your body and it makes you capable of surpassing your limits for a brief moment.

The main reason I wanted to acquire this technique was because the theory behind the technique was simple enough while at the same time it was extremely useful.

I was fairly proficient in regulating my heartbeat using my breathing style so I reckoned it was the best skill to learn next. But I guess I underestimated the skill because even after almost 2 weeks I have not made much progress.

From breathing techniques, endurance training and strength training. I have tried many things in order to acquire this skill but at the end, I decided mental training was the way to go.

Instead of trying to regulate my heartbeat through external help like physical action and breathing techniques, I reckoned mental stimulation would be better to quicken my heartbeat.

So for the past few days, I have made it a habit to meditate like this. Trying to mentally command my heart to beat faster all the while helping it with sun breathing as well.

I remembered the words of the strongest man, Eddie Hall.

He said that in order to reach his maximum power and deadlift a 500 kg weight, he had ran a scenario in his head where he was trying to lift a car off his childrens.

He said that the human brain was limiting the body and the only way to break those limits was to experience extreme scenario. A mother could lift a car to save her children.

Basically, he developed this mental crutch where he imagined his children in danger and that would make him surpass his limits as adrenaline would flood his body.

In simple terms, he fooled his mind to believe that he was in a dire situation and his body would secrete adrenaline to break his limits.

What I was doing was trying to follow his footsteps and acquire the skill bullet time in this way.

I tried imagining many scenarios in which everything was at stake. Senarios where my life was at sake.

But in the end, it did nothing but piss me off.

I was not able to achieve such a state similar to Eddie Hall and I always just gave up halfway through.

"Inner peace." I ended up saying even though what I was trying to achieve was the opposite.

Though I did not give up and spent the entire morning meditating like that. It was only when Kurumi disturbed me that I stopped.

Then with another failure, I went home and prepared for another day in school.

At least school was fun now. Once upon a time I hated going to school but these days I was looking forward to it.

"But Gulperi is at the wrong too. You can't just blame Hassan, he is a hot headed teenager. On the other hand Gulperi is an adult, she should know better." Marin debated while staring at the face of absolute stoicism which was Komi.

They were currently discussing about the show they had watched yeaterday. I have absolutely no clue what they were talking about but I participated anyways.

Mainly because it was fun watching the two Waifus just being friends and also watching Komi's wish of talking about her favourite show with someone, come ture.

Though there was also another reason why I am participating in this conversation...

(Sure, adult can't possibly make a mistake so it's all Gulperi's fault.) Komi had written in her notebook and was showing it to Marin.

Then Marin read it out loud, tilted her head in uncertainty and confusion before turning to me with a questioning stare.

"She is being sarcastic." I told her with a dry tone. Then her eyes widen and she turned back to Komi to resume her debate.

This was another reason why I was participating in this conversation I have absolutely no interest in. To be a translator.

There was only so much Komi could convey with writing so I was here to compensate for it.

But I was definitely not complaining.

After a few more minutes of arguing back and forth, Marin lost and had to eat her words and accept that Gulperi - whoever the fuck that was - was indeed right and Hassan was at fault.

Komi beat Marin in a debate. She won......

Without uttering a single word.

Now that was a next level of badass - ism. I expected nothing less from the perfect Komi.

"Oh, by the way, I hope you are prepared to go to that anime event with me. I need a cameraman to take my photo with my new cosplay!!" Marin told me, excitement ozzing off of her.

Right. We have the event which was to be held tomorrow, Saturday.

Marin had gotten her cosplay few days ago and everyone who saw her giant smile that moment wouldn't be able to forget it again.

She was extremely happy and was like a child receiving a christmas gift. She also ended up giving me a kiss on the cheek to show her appreciation.

Kekekeke. It was just another step to Operation : MFFMPC

Anyways, she reminded me of the promise I made to her back when she was at my house and it looks like she was going to make sure I keep it.

She also invited Komi but the perfect girl denied, making some excuses. Honestly, I didn't know if she was nervous going to a place with many people or if she really had something stopping her from tagging along.

"Sure. I remember." I said and Marin nodded in satisfaction.

Little did she know, I was going to use this opportunity to strike right at her heart!! I will make sure to rizz her up and at least make her like me more after this.

She was just a sheep, unaware that I was a wolf. Ready to steal her heart.

"It's a date then!!" She said. Me, along with almost everyone in the classroom looked at her with wide eyes.

I blushed at her bold declaration. For a moment I thought she was being genuine and not just teasing me.

But I quickly pulled myself together and told myself that she was just being naughty and mischievous.

I knew from the show that she loved teasing people like this. She had done so multiple times with Gojo earlier in the show even when she didn't like him.

I should've known better but I couldn't help but fall to her teasing again and again.

And as if to confirm my thoughts, a wide grin spread on her lips while her eyes adopted a teasing crease.

Damnit.

Stop teasing me woman!!!

"Okay. It's a date." I mumbled and turned away because I felt dumb.

Though if I had not turned away, I would've seen Marin's face which was exactly like mine when she first teased me.

She was blushing.
