She knew what he was doing to her
[3rd POV]
"I'll be going now." Yuito said as he walked out of the house.
"Stay safe." Sumire was able to say before Yuito closed the door with a loud thud.
.
.
A louder silence followed.
As it always does.
Because without him, the house was not home.
Sumire looked at the wolf who continued to stare at the door even after Yuito was gone. Just like her.
It felt as if the wolf was waiting for a miracle where he would magically return. Just like her.
The wolf looked so lonely now that Yuito had left. Just like her.
Sumire could tell the wolf missed Yuito already. Just like her.
.
.
Sumire felt like she had found someone in the same predicament as herself. She felt like she had found a kindred soul.
"He is usually home by four." She said, to the wolf, she thinks?
She didn't know why she said it since the wolf would not even understand her words. Sumire shrugged it off.
Though she felt that the wolf was a kindred soul, Sumire would never approach the wolf. It was a wild animal afterall and now that Yuito was not here, she definitely did not feel safe.
So she quickly turned around and decided to retreat to her painting room. But before she entered the room, she made sure to change her clothes into something more appropriate - something that would not be a lost even if paint was smeared on it.
She opened the door with a key, it was her private room so she made sure Yuito or anyone else would not be able to enter it.
Opening the door, Sumire entered her secret sanctuary. What greeted her was the thick smell of paint and the different canvas with paintings on them.
And like always, almost every canvas held the image of her son Yuito.
"haaa..." Sumire sighed as she looked around and immersed herself with the otherworldly feeling brought to her by the paintings.
All the canvas held the image of Yuito, like always. But if one were to pay close attention, they would be able to notice the difference in the paintings displayed now to the ones Sumire had displayed before.
Almost all the canvas held the picture of Yuita, but unlike before they were all the image of when he was grown. There were no pictures of his childhood anymore. Rather it was the opposite and there were few pictures of Yuito where he was even more mature than he was right now.
Also, the colour and style of those paintings, it was different from the previous paintings that express extreme familial love.
Instead, the current paintings, unlike the past, held a more romantic feeling - like a painter was painting the image of her true love.
It held the colour of red and pink. Love and desire coupled with lust. That was the feelings the paintings expressed.
Sumire stood still, her eyes moving around as she took in all the paintings and the feelings they expressed. Feelings which she felt in the past, all of them came back to her at full force.
It felt like a dream. She was out of this world. Out of the shackles and rules of the world.
She was in another world. A world where she was not a mother but only a woman. A world where the forbidden becomes enabled and permitted.
A world where she love Yuito.
In.
the.
way.
she.
desired.
That was her sanctuary. Art was all about expressing one's true self and while she was in this room, Sumire allowed herself to be absolutely true to herself.
"Yuito~" She said and walked around the room, observing the paintings with great detail.
Nothing else really mattered in her life anymore. He was everything that mattered.
To her, it felt like her whole being was tailored only to love that wonderful boy she was privileged to give birth too.
Sumire felt that it was natural though. Everyone has something that mattered the most in their life, their 'passion' would be a better word. For some it was beauty, goals, career, legacy, art, music, fame etc.
It just so happens that the most important thing in her life was a person. Her son.
It was an obsession. Yes. She knows.
But everyone carries their own grain of insanity. Right?
Her's just happened to be Yuito.
It was wrong in the eyes of Society but it was just so right in her eyes. It was the truth. Her truth.
The only thing stopping her from loving him 'that way' was that small sane part of her mind and her own son.
She had also learned that her suspicion about her son was true. He really was trying to seduce her. Maybe he was trying to slowly corrupt her mind into loving him or something.
.
.
.
.
If only he knew. There was nothing to corrupt.
At first she blamed herself, thinking he was the way he is because of how she raised him. The apple does not fall far from the tree. She thought she was responsible for how he turned out.
Loving his own mother
She felt guilty. But not because of what you might think.
She was guilty that she didn't feel guilty about how Yuito turned out.
But what could she do? She was way too happy to find out that her son was feeling the same way as her.
It was the most adorable thing, watching him try to seduce her even though she couldn't be further from needing that.
He thought he was sneaky. He thought he was cunning but Sumire sees through it all. She knew exactly what he was doing to her, she just allows it.
It was the most adorable thing. Complimenting her, being a bit touchy here and there, trying to act mature and even avoiding calling her mother to implement the idea in her mind.
"So cute~" She sees through all his naughty little plans.
Yet it was still working, just not in the way Yuito was aiming for.
Sumire was happy but she was also still responsible. She thinks that it might be a mistake on his part. He was still a child afterall and a teenager. He might just be confused.
The one thing she would not do was take advantage of him.
That was why she had not reply his advances.
.
.
Sumire went to a drawer which was one of the few furniture in the room and pulled it open.
Inside, there were some boxers, clothes and underwears yet strangely enough they were all males.
Obviously they were not her's.
And most importantly, they were all dirty.
It was not hard to steal some of them since she had always done the laundry. She also made sure to replace them with similar ones.
Sumire took one out and smelled it lightly, it smelled good. She didn't know why it smelled good but it just did.
Infact, it has such a strong, musculine and attractive smell that it made her take in stronger and harder sniffs.
Her lower lips get wet and her legs turned into jelly. She fell on the gorund and she shivered.
"HmmM~"
Yuito was still just a minor. He could be confused with his feelings right now.
But after he beccomes an adult. After he turns 18.
After that. If he felt the same way, Sumire reckoned it would be fine.
It would be absolutely okay even if she...
