Operation : MFFMPC

'Why are you such a waifu Marin?'

"Hello~ Fujita-san" she said. Or sang. I couldn't tell the difference. She had a nice voice.

{All anime girls have a nice voice.}

I hummed in agreement.

"I am not disturbing you, am I?" She asked, a little timid.

I shook myself out from my daze and smiled, "Of course not. Kitagawa-san is always welcomed."

"Okay then!" she said happily and slipped right under me and went inside. As she passed me I was able to catch a whiff of her scent.

'Vanilla.'

She smelled really good.

"I brought a cake." She said, holding up one of the bags she had on her hand.

I thanked her and took the cake from her hand before putting it in the refrigerator. She was standing awkwardly and looking around the house while I did so.

After interacting a lot with the opposite gender, I knew exactly what that meant now. That awkward stance which was obviously waiting for something.

"Marin did you went to your modelling agency before this?" I asked while truning around and looking at her closely.

"No. Why are you asking?" Marin tilted her head in confusion.

"Really? I thought surely since you look so good." I said and pat myself on the back in satisfaction.

Marin's cheeks turned rosy and she played with her hair shyly, "Your just saying that." she said.

"No, You look beautiful." I said and she got redder.

{Oh, how much you have grown my friend.} the author said in a voice full of pride.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Some time later]

"How the fuck are you so good at this?" I asked as my hands rapidly tapped on the controller.

I was sitting on the floor of my room while I was leaning on my bed. Marin on the other hand, was sitting crossed legged on my bed, her controller was kept right above my head.

We were playing Guilty Gear right now and Marin was somehow absolutely dominating me.

Which should be impossible as I have superhuman agility and I was extremely quick in spamming the attack button and jumping botton.

So how the hell was this witch still domating me?

"How the fuck do you suck this bad." Marin asked and I didn't even have to look at her to feel the smirk on her face.

I was using Potemkin, a huge muscular guy with red gauntlets and she was using Bridget, a cute girl with a teddy bear.

"No seriously, how is this possible?" I asked and pressed quicker, trying to land hits, any hits at all.

"Don't just spam the attack button. The controller can only attack so fast, you pressing it faster have no effect." Marin told me kindly while beating my ass.

I was on my last health bar right now and I began sweating.

"Do you know my friend Misaki? She is even better than me at this so I learned a few things from her." She said.

"Never heard of her."

"What? You know, the orange haired girl, always looking at you creepily. You don't know?"

"Nope." I said with a 'P'. I was more focused on the game than anything else.

I was just trying to distract her.

Though I really did not know her.

"I told you before, I don't pay attention to anything other than the things I love." I said and I just heard her humming. Agreeing with me or recalling me telling her already, whichever it was.

"Sounds dangerous. Not being aware of your surroundings. Do you not learn something like 'always being aware of your surroundings' in martial arts?" she said, her tone was normal as if she was not absolutely dismantling me in this cursed game.

"We did actually. But paying attention to your surroundings and remembering details of unimportant things are different." I said and I was a bit distracted while answering her.

So she took that chance and used her ultimate on me. Killing me in a single move.

I watched with my mouth agape in shock, "You tricked me." I said in disbelief.

She chucked cutely and laid on my bed. "You were trying to do the same thing to me too." she said.

Not only was she better than me in the game, she was also better than me in the real world at distracting the other person.

"Besides, a waifu can't lose." she said, refering to her game character but it honestly applied to her as well.

"One more game." I insisted and took out my phone before fiddling with it.

"My hands are tired. I don't want to anymore~" Marin whined.

I quickly found what I was looking for on my phone. A motivational audio I downloaded years ago. I would listen to it before working out when I feel lazy.

The phone began playing a motivation speech. The voice was loud and inspiring.

[Nobody believes in you. You've lost again and again and again. The lights are cut off, but you're still looking at your dream. Reviewing it everyday and saying to yourself. It's not over until I win!!]

I took in the inspiring words and I was finally ready to win.

Then after the speech, music started playing [Sing with me~ Sing for the year~]

"Oh my GOD!! That is so cute!!" Marin squealed and came forward again.

"Did you play this whenever you need motivation?" she asked while giggling.

"Yeah. It gives me power to push through my limits." I said seriously.

"Now I will feel bad if I don't give you a another chance." she said and we began playing again.

..

..

[After four more defeat.]

"I give up." I said with a sigh. It's official, you can't win against a waifu. I should start using them in the game more.

"Well, at least you got better." Marin said while looking down at me.

I was leaning over on my bed and I rested my head on her lap while I was still sitting on the floor.

I was looking up while she was looking down at me with a bright smile.

"Really? I didn't notice." I said dryly. I didn't even empty one of her health bar once.

"You did." She said and smiled brighter.

I stared at her, a little stunned by her smile. We locked eyes for a long time and I felt the tension rising in the air before I gave in and blushed deeply.

I immediately got my head off her and she laughed. I was embarrassed so I changed the subject, "You said you have something to show me."

She paused her laughter and her eyes widen, "Oh right!!" she perked up and got off my bed.

"I made a cosplay that I wanted to show you." She said and went to grab her bag.

"What cosplay?" I asked but before getting an answer, she began taking off her clothes. I panicked and quickly looked away.

"What are you doing!!" I said and my face turned red. She laughed and told me she was changing.

"Are you insane! How can you strip in a room of a male teenager!" I said while covering my eyes to make sure that I was not looking.

I was a pervert. I agree and fully admit.

But I was also a polite pervert.

"Don't worry, I trust you." She said.

Now those words break any naughty thoughts I had immediately. She was in my room alone with me and she said she trusts me.

I won't betray that.

So I controlled myself and kept my face away from her. Though it was extremely hard.

{God, would you look at those guns. She is packing some thick stuff.} the author said.

!!!!

'Wait you can see her!!'

{Sure I can, and I like it very much.}

'Stop it immediately you pervert!!'

{I am not a goody two shoes like you. I will look at whatever I want.} the author taunted.

Although, I was a bit troubled that the author was looking at her, I can't do anything else. So..

'At least tell me what you see.' I said, rather meekly.

{Just take a quick peek bro.}

'No, she trusts me. I will not betray that trust.' I was determined and righteous.

{Well, if you must know, she wore a yellow bra. Like the one in the anime.}

'Aha, aha.' I nodded, listening closely.

{Her breast are quite big. Probably D cup.} he described it.

'Aha, aha.' I nodded, taking in every detail.

{And she has-What!!! She has pierced nipples!!} he screamed in shock.

In return I was shocked too. Pierced nipples? Marin?

Too caught up in the moment due to the shocking revelation, I turned around on instinct and saw her also turning around right at that moment.

'She is still wearing her bra, so no pierced nipples. The author lied.' I thought to myself as I looked at her breast.

But then I froze and realized she caught me just as I was checking out her breast, She was red all over and I immediately turned around.

"I am so sorry!!" I screamed.

{Hahahahaha} I heard the author laughing wildly.

He set me up!! That bastard!!

Now everything was awkward.

Luckily, Marin didn't call me out on me peeking at her and she quickly changed into her costume.

After that she told me to turn around and I did. She was wearing a black costume and was looking at me with expectant eyes.

"So what do you think?" Marin asked as she spun around in her dress like a princess.

I carefully observed the complicated stiches of her black dress. The decorations which were sewed on the side.

I trailed my eyes on the stitching line that runs along the dress and the proportion of the fabric.

I was stunned to say the least.

"It's horrendous." I said and Marin immediately stopped and grabbed her chest as if my words pierced through her chest.

I looked at the phone in my hand and compared her cosplay with the original character.

I can't help but be amazed.

"You look nothing alike." I said and she acted dramatically, as if I stabbed her with my words for a second time.

"Why are you so honest?" She said quietly and sulked in the corner. I watched her with an amused smile on my face.

In the original anime - where Gojo was present - he helped her create cosplay and that was how she fell for him.

So since the main character is not here? Shouldn't I take the role of the main character once again like I did with Komi?

That's the right thing to do.

And who knows, I could make her fall for me like Gojo did.

I definitely wanted her to develop feelings for me. I like her and I wouldn't mind if our relationship development further than just friends.

I knew her from the anime so hopefully if a relationship did development between us, it ended better than my last one.

So, should I give it a try?

{Of course. It will be a good way to move on. Marin is definitely a wife material.}

Okay then, it's decided.

'I will try to make you fall for me Marin.'

"Do you want me to help you?" I asked and she looked up from her depressed state. Her eyes shined and became hopeful.

"Can you make clothes?" she asked.

"No." I said before continuing, "But I know a few people who can."

{I like where this is going. Should we name this operation?} the author asked.

'Sure, if you want.'

{Operation make Marin fall for me with the power of Cosplay. Or in short, 'Operation : MFFMPC'}

'I like it.'

{Then let the operation begin.}
