Komi-san

She had long dark purple hair which flowed down her slender frame and did not stop till her waist. Her splendid locks - each strand perfect - was dancing behind her as she walked. Instead of dancing to the wind, the air seemed to dance with her hair.

Her eyes were the colour of her hair - purple - like mine. Yet I feel like her eyes would see a completely different world than mine, something greater, something more profound.

She was not big. She was around 5'5 feet with muscles which seemed to exist solely to make her look better and not to work. She was small, yet it felt like she was the biggest thing around. Her presence was enormous, eclipsing everything else.

Her long legs which seemed too smooth was greatly enhanced by the black stocking she wore. They carried her with apparent ease and elegance towards her destiny.

Her face was but perfect. Beautiful or cute would not be the right word. Sumire and Marin were beautiful, Tsukimi was cute.

But she something else. Something completely unique to anything I had ever seen. Her face did not look like a human's but more like a doll's.

Imperfections and flaws were part of what made human's beautiful and unique, she had none.

Her face was completely symmetrical. Half of her face was identical to the other half. It was so perfect it almost looked creepy.

If a person saw someone beautiful, they would be mesmerized, maybe they would feel lust. But if a person saw her, they would only feel awe and admiration. Like how one would react to a beautiful painting and not a beautiful human.

"What in the actual fuck is that thing?" I asked myself as I continued watching her along with everyone else.

Each stride she took was measured. Just wide enough to show off her legs and curves yet also small enough to keep her ass in perfect form.

She appeared to have come straight out of a perfect 3D porn or something. She seemed impossible.

I wondered how everyone was only admiring her and not questioning how she exist. She was a walking barbie doll!! I would expect her to be in some scientist's lab where they would try and search how she was possible.

{Anime logic I guess.}

I looked at her closer and noticed that she was wearting Itan's school uniform.

"What the fuck, she went to my school? How have I not noticed her?" I asked, genuinely curious. If this was my previous world she would be known throughtout the world just because she was..her.

When I said that, everyone turned to me, even the girl turned to me. And I think she was looking at, me?

I wouldn't know because her eyes were not focusing on anything. It was like she was seeing everything all at once or she was seeing something beyond everyone else.

She looked at me and I was immediately intimidated. I was not scared but I clearly felt... somewhat wrong? It was hard to explain.

She was not looking down on me, nor was she looking at me with disgust. But I knew she clearly thought something of me.

It was weird. She was weird.

Then for some reason she turned around and quickly walked away with a speed clearly faster than before. But the weird thing was her legs moved at the same speed.

"What the.." I said, confused as hell.

So many questions were on my mind that I did not question anything at all.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I was in my classroom, sitting on my seat but unlike other days I was not reading nor sleeping around. I was sitting upright, my hands rhythmically tap on the table as I was deep in thought.

My mind was filled with the girl I just saw.

'Hey author, do you know who she is now?' I asked impatiently.

I had asked if the girl was someone he know from somewhere. I was sure a girl as exceptional as her couldn't be a random girl. She must be from some fictional world.

Maybe a supernatural being. Or maybe she was an android like 2B because she definitely looked like one.

And just like I expected, the Author knew her from some anime but he was not sure who she was since he never watched the anime she was from.

So he told me to wait until he found out exactly who she was.

{Yes, I know who she is now. And her story too, more or less.} the author said and I listened with rapt attention to what he said next.

{She is Shouko Komi. From a slice of life anime called 'Komi - san can't communicate'.} the author said and paused.

I was stumped as I processed what he said, 'Komi-san can't communicate? What the fuck?'

A slice of life? Is she actually a robot and couldn't speak because of that and it is a story about how she learned how to speak and learn human emotion? Is that it?

Is that her story?

{Actually she is normal human. She suffers from extreme social anxiety and can't communicate. The story basically revolves around her trying to overcome this anxiety and make a 100 friends.}

...

...

I have cursed too much today but here goes....

"What the fuck?"

---__---__---__---__---__

Then I spent the whole morning listening to the author as he told me about Komi-san and her story. I learned about the plot and her personality and what she was actually like.

But soon enough our homeroom teacher came in and addressed the class. Only this time it was more special than other days.

"We will have a new student in our class. She was arranged to be in our class because apparently, her previous class was distracted by her. So treat her well." She said and looked towards the door.

"You can come in Komi."

And in she came, exactly how I saw her in the morning. It was like the world was afraid to temper with her already perfect self so it did nothing to her.

"Of-fucking-course she came in my class." I said and watched as she stood still infront of the whole class before writing her name on the blackboard.

And even that simple action caused the others to cheer in awe. Then she took her seat and the class quieted down soon after.

"And of course, she had to sit right beside me." I whispered before turning and looking at her.

She sat straight, her slender body was perfectly nestled between the table and chair as if they were created for her. She was looking forward, her eyes not focusing on anything specific.

Then, as if disturbed by my gaze she turned to me.

Bombastic side eyes.

Criminal offensive side eyes.

I held eye contact with her as long as I could, reminding myself that she was nothing but a normal girl with social anxiety.

But then she vibrated in her seat.

Literally VIBRATED!!

Her eyes got higher and now she was looking down on me. Then she opened her mouth and weird sound came out. Like a broken robot.

"ne-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-ne-ne-ne-ne-ne-ne-.." it sounded so low and rapid, it scares me.

I couldn't help it.

I got intimidated and looked away.

I kept my face stoic but I was screaming inside.

'Author you are messing with me!!! No way she's a normal girl with social anxiety. She has to be something else. I don't know what, but SOMETHING!!!'

The author laughed at my reaction.

This is going to be tiresome.

'Don't look at me!!!' I screamed internally when I still felt her gaze on my back.
