Outing/Date

[Yuito's POV]

I was at the meeting spot already at 9:30 even though I scheduled it at 10 am.

There was still no girl to be found and one would assume that Saki had simply not reached the place, but that was wrong.

Saki had already reached the place but she was hiding 20 meters to my left behind a minivan and was spying on me.

I did not call her out as that would embarrass her but just standing here was becoming boring. I wonder what is going through her mind to act in such a way.

{Maybe she is shy. You are a whole ass famous person now, especially in Japan.} the author said in my mind, causing me to think.

Indeed, having someone like me as their first date-ish would be nerve-racking even for the average girl, much less someone like Saki.

This was one of the downsides of being a celebrity, people often looked at us as if we are something beyond human or ordinary whereas that couldn't be further from the truth.

Maybe in one or two fields of life were we above the rest but other than that, we are just your average Joe.

.

{I don't know about you but she is cute.}

I gave her hiding figure a side eye and indeed, she looked cute. She was wearing a white dress and her skin looked a lot healthier than before with a rosy red on her cheeks.

She hid again when she thought I was looking at her, causing me to chuckle at her ridiculous behaviour.

"Indeed, she is cute."

{Come on, if you don't take the initiative, she will never come out. Go to her.} The author, said excitement in his voice.

'You sure are excited huh?'

{Of course!! This is Saki we are talking about, I love seeing her smile and getting her happy ending. I am warning you, you better treat her right.}

"Sure, sure, whatever you say boss." I said with a chuckle. I disappeared from my place while she was not looking and quickly made my way near the minivan.

I was quick so she had no time to even notice that I was gone. I went behind her and stood a few feet beside her.

Her back was turned on me so she still did not notice my presence.

"Come on. You can do it Saki." She hyped herself as she crouched near the van.

She did some breathing techniques to calm herself.

"You can do this. This is nothing serious, you have read countless romance manage and even played games. This is a piece of cake." She told herself with all the seriousness in her voice.

I smiled and got even closer to her until my face was near her ear.

"Found you." I said and blew on her ear.

She yelped and stood up like a frightened cat before turning to me. Her words got caught in her throat as her face started heating up.

"You were taking too long so I figured I should just approach you first." I said to which she simply nodded meekly.

"hey, you don't have to be so nervous. i am not going to do anything to you, just be your usual self." I said a strained smile on my face.

"O-Okay."

I gave her a smile and looked at her from head to toe, scanning her clothes and body. She wore a white dress and I noticed that her face was a lot more pretty than before.

She did not use any makeups but you could tell that she had started taking care of herself more from the way her skin let out a beautiful glow.

Her teeth were pearly white and her hair was braided properly unlike before when it was quite messy.

Her glasses were also clean and looked brand new, although the lenses were still too thick that it made her eyes look smaller through them.

And when looked a certain way, her eyes looked like four. I could understand now, how the insult four eyes come from.

"You look stunning." I said, and after a beat of surprise, she beamed a smile at me.

"Thank you."

"hah-" I let out a sound as I was thrown off guard by her innocent and thankful smile. An arrow seemed to pierce my heart.

My simple compliment was like a sentence made of gold to her as her glad smile threw me off completely, stealing my breath and two or three beats of my heart.

{I was not prepared for that either.}

She saw my shocked state and a blush must be on my face because she also started blushing again. I looked away to my right and she did the same.

So I turned to my left but again, she also turned to her left to hide her face. I did not change this time as she quickly turned to the right again.

God damn, I was like a virgin all over again.

I cough two or three times to clear my emotions before taking the lead as the older one should.

"Let's go now. You must be hungry right? Let's get something to eat. I booked the salon for 12 so we have time on our hand." I said with a smile and boldly took her dainty hand,

Her eyes grew wide in surprise as I pulled her. She was short, even shorter than Marin and I estimated her to be around 5 feet. Maybe 5'2 with the current shoe she was wearing.

She was a whole foot shorter than me so she barely reached my shoulder as we walked.

It was supposed to be a normal outing than a date so instead of doing romantic things with her, I planned to let her experience everything a girl her age should experience.

We first took our burgers from the nearest fast food before we walked to the park to eat. As two weebs meeting, we did not lack any conversation as we talked while we ate our burgers.

I talked about animes and mangas which was something I knew she was comfortable with so that the initial anxiety could wear off.

And it worked as by the time we finished our food, a permanent smile was etched on her face. I did not want her to feel like this was a date where she had to be on her best behaviour.

Instead, I want her to treat me as a friend and be absolutely comfortable with me. She could be herself around me, she could nerd out about mangas and tell me how she liked Oreimo because she was an only child.

I think I succeeded because she was actually laughing as we talked now.

After we had our food, we went towards the mall where the salon was also located. But it was still early for our appointment so we went around the mall.

Saki was still a young teenager at heart so things slowly got her interest as we looked around different shops. It was mainly of jewellery and clothes though.

This was where I learned that although she was a shut-it, she was actually quite enthusiastic when it came to fashion and I even got to learn that the clothes she wore were also made by her from her mother's old clothes.

She said she wanted to follow the designing line as her future career.

It was truly amazing to see that she was interested in such things. This was never shown in the doujins. But I guess her dreams died the same day she was raped.

"Is this what you like?" I asked looking at the clothes and at the size.

"It should fit you pretty well."

"What?" She asked, surprised.

"Tell you what, I will buy you anything you want. So don't be afraid to choose." I said.

What came next was expected as she vehemently rejected the idea and told me that she was just looking.

I insisted that I buy her what she wanted but she was opposed to the idea. She said she came here to spend time with me and to not go shopping and use my wallet.

"Sure, have it your way." I said with a sigh. She looked relieved and thought she won but I called the manager who was standing close to us.

I was still a famous figure after all, so he came out when he heard that I had come to their shop.

"Sir, can I buy everything in the shop? Every clothes and shoes that should fit her." I said and took out my card.

Everyone around looked shocked,

"What are you doing?! You can't do that!!" Saki screamed at me.

"Oh yeah? A quick google search should tell you my worth, I can definitely buy out the whole atore. Not only this shop but I am going to buy everything form the previous shops that caught your interest." I said.

"So if you don't want to deal with all of the clothes which is about to be delivered in your house, you better pick what you like." I said with a smile.

In the end, I won and she ended up picking very few things she liked form different shops. Although she was hesitant at first and I was afraid that I might be too forceful, she had a smile on her face as I bought her things.

Our shopping was cut short when it was 12 and we went to the salon. We checked a few makeup products for me and her.

I also got Saki to get most of the beauty treatment they had including painting her nails and toes.

We also cut her hair to have proper bangs and her previously long hair was cut into waist length.

We stayed in the salon for three whole hours as getting every treatment took quite a long time. By the end of it, Saki was a changed person.

Maybe she was destined to have an instant glow-up after she used beauty products but she came out almost like a different person.

She was like a mortal who just ascended to Godhood.

She was beautiful before but after everything and putting on some makeup, she ended up looking like a true beauty that could rival even my girls!!

"Whoa~" I said with a smile.

{This is what I'm talking about.}

..

..

"Please stop staring so much." Saki hid her face behind her hand as almost all the employees and even the customers gathered around her to look at her.

The owner of the salon even ended up literally begging to use her picture as a before and after advertisement for her shop to which Saki accepted, saying she was flattered.

As a thank you, the owner told her to come anytime she wanted and they would do everything free for her.

After everything was done, we left the salon. Saki still had a smile on her face as we went away from the salon and her eyes were one of disbelief of what just happened.

It was 3 pm and there was still two hours or so before we should end the outing.

"Saki, ever been to a karaoke? Or the amusement park?" I asked and Saki shook her head.

I smiled, "Then let's visit those place toend the day okay?"

She nodded and smiled.

A smile which I still could not get used to even after the whole day. It was innocent and pure, quite contrast to what she would have become in the future.
