[Yuito's POV]

It was not about the match.

It was not about martial arts.

And it obviously was not about sport.

I want to hurt him. I want to hurt him really badly.

It was the first time I felt such a thing in a fight. I have fought for money, I have fought for the challenge, I have fought to get stronger and I have even fought for the sake of it.

Yet this would be the first time I would fight just so I could hurt my opponent.

He has gone too far, and he has said too much. Now he has to pay the price.

I looked across the octagon and met eyes with my opponent. I could tell that from his face, he also knew that he had crossed the line. He had crossed the line by a mile.

Is this what it feels like to have bad blood with your opponent? I guess you experience different things as you grow.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMAN!!! GET READYYYYYYYYYY FOR THE MAIN EVENT!!!" the announcer, Bruce Buffer screamed to the crowd, his iconic voice caused the audience's blood to boil.

The cheering of the crowd made for a surprisingly calming sound as it faded into the background and mixed with my violent thoughts.

Colby was skipping up and down in his place while having a focused look on his face. Outside of the octagon was another but inside, he was a different person. He was a true fighter.

No amount of trash-talking or gimmicks can get you as far as he did without real skills involved. I saw that and I could respect that.

But that wouldn't stop me from beating the shit out of him.

The announcer introduced us to the crowd and I waved at them without paying real heed. My eyes were always on the opponent which was Colby.

After the introduction was out of the way, the referee brought us to the center of the octagon and gave us a brief summary of the rules and advice.

Then when we returned back to our corner, the fight was on.

*TING!!!*

The crowd came alive and made a noise that deafened my ears.

*CHEEEERS!!!!*

...

...

....

"FIGHT!!!"

My body cut through the air and I crossed the whole length of the octagon in less than a fleeting second.

*WHOOSH!!*

No one even realized I had moved, and when they did, I had already done what I was supposed to do.

My greatest weapon other than my endurance has always been my speed. And unlike the fighters whose main focus was on the speed of their attacks, I was different.

My stats and system helped me with speed as a whole. That means that not only are my attacks quick but other speed aspects of my life were also extremely fast.

Like sprinting for example.

I broke multiple world records and the very understanding of human limits with that single dash, yet I did not care.

All that speed, all that momentum, all that force and supernatural violence crashed onto Colby who was rooted on his spot due to shock.

I wonder what hits harder? Me or a truck?

*CRASH!!!!*

My knees hit the crossed arms of Colby Covington who had enough reaction time to do such things. I guess you don't fight all your life without at least being on this level.

But as my knees hit his arms, I felt the absence of contact in my attack. Colby's body fell back with me and I realized that he had leaped back to avoid the force behind my attack.

It was a smart move and would've worked successfully to block my attack in the street but unfortunately for him, this was a cage, an octagon.

His back eventually hit the net and his body was crushed between the wall and my knee. I finally felt the contact that I was looking for as I crashed into him.

*BOOOM!!*

*CRACK!!*

The sound of my knee hitting his body and the sound of bones breaking was loud in the shocked silence of the stadium. The people were still shell-shocked of my recent show of superhuman feat.

"AHHHHHHH!!!!" The pained scream of Colby Covington brought them back to their senses and I smiled wickedly when I heard his scream.

The net caved in but afterwards, it returned the kinetic force and I was thrown a few feet away from Colby Conington.

I utilized sun breathing to the limit and I was using bullet time. To top everything off, I was also using my anger to stay in berserker mode which gives me a boost in every stats except intelligence.

[Beserker : Intermediate-> Advanced]

.

It could be said that the flying knee that I just executed was one of the strongest attacks I could deliver on another human being.

Yet the moment my feet touched the ground, it was off the ground again.

"?????"

"DON'T LOOK DOWN ON MEE!!!!!" The voice that once screamed in pain before, resounded through the stadium with resolve and unshakable will.

I saw a blur, Cobly was also using the reaction force of my ultimate attack to launch himself at me like a canon, and delivered a punch right at my solar plexus.

I bit down hard on my gum shield and flew away like a doll. But I flipped through the air and landed on the canvas across the octagon, unharmed other than the pain in the place where I had been hit.

I gazed in surprise and wonder at my opponent who was breathing heavily in the same position and posture that he delivered his attack with.

"Haaaa..."

"Haaa..."

His heavy and labored breath echoed in the stadium filled with hundreds of thousands. I gaze at his seemingly strong yet fragile form and I notice that his other hand is broken.

It was snapped in his forearm.

...

...

A broken arm which slowly moved up as he used it to show me his middle finger. His arm was shaking yet the grin on his face was not.

"Try that again bitch."

Colby 'Chaos' Covington.

For all the asshole he was, he was also a warrior.

His eyes left eye shone with an electric light which reminded me of what happened to Jake Kim whenever he was desperate, in Lookism.

"Heh," I smiled.

"Asshole." I said and my legs launched me towards him at a speed almost unseen by the naked eye.

I delivered a roundhouse kick, aiming for his head which he blocked with his working hand. He buckled under my strength while gritting his teeth and his eyes shone ever so eerily.

"Attacking the side with my working hand? I thought you hated me?" He spat out.

"What working hand?" I questioned as I moved in one single fluid movement to deliver a backkick into his arm which blocked my first kick.

*BOOOM!!*

A backkick was much stronger than a normal kick as you gathered momentum while you spun. If executed properly, even the average man could kill someone with this attack.

*Crack!!*

"Argh!!" He grunted as his forearm broke again. Now both of his arms were broken.

It should be noted that even though Colby was ranked higher than Wonderboy, he was not stronger.

It was just that his specialty - wrestling - worked better in the UFC than Wonderboy who specialized in striking.

I would say he was on the same level if not weaker than Wonderboy.

"DAMN YOU!!" He screamed at me while leaping for my legs, he was attempting a take down with two broken hands.

"huh?" He stopped in confusion as I disappeared form his view. I was on top of him, using one hand to do a handstand on his head.

Then I brought down my knees and kneed him right on his face, sending him tumbling back with a broken nose.

"Fuck!!" He cursed.

I said it before but.

"I'm not here to fight Colby," I said, my purple eyes piercing his. I released my killing intent as I walked toward him.

"I'm here to hurt you."

"Really really badly."

Author : Hey, I've seen some fights where fighter are allowed to continue after broken bones if they can endure and still fight.

Just ignore the realism and think that as long as the opponent had a will to fight, the match do not end in this supernatural world.I am sure we all want Colby to suffer more
