The nice guy

"UAAAHHHHH...!!!!..ArgHHH." Takaru, aka the yellow hairded bastard could not stop letting out moans of pain. He was crying, from both his eyes and his nose.

Seeing him writhing in pain like this brought extreme satisfaction to me, akin to drinking a juice after forcing down a dry bread.

It also calmed me down. To the point that I don`t feel like crying anymore.

"Dude, I don`t think its even that bad." I said and broke into a smile when he turned and look at me with helpless eyes. Like a puppy after you kicked it.

{He must wish he had a smaller dick.}

'Yeah, big dicks are stupid anyways.'

I chuckled after that and I felt my mood became lighter. Takaru seemed to think that I was laughing at him. He gritted his teeth and cried harder.

Now that I was a lot calmer now, I couldn`t help but worry about the consequences of my actions. If he stayed there, people are going to eventually know and the police might be involved.

Having a criminal case wasn`t good especially with my dream of being an athlete one day.

What should I do?

{Mind rape him till he can`t even speak anymore.}

Hmm...attractive choice but not possible.

{We could also do the 'disappearing finger magic trick'...but on his head}

Ohhhh~ But that would just make my situation worse.

{Plot armour.}

I shook my head in disbelief. I have to think of some way to get his mouth shut.

.....!!!

"That could work." I whisper to myself before deciding what to do.

I walked to him and the small smile on my face withered away.

I closed the door behind me and wiped away the blood on my cheek. He was not dead but I was sure that he won`t ever speak about what happened today.

I just simply blackmailed him back with the secret snapshot on his phone. I said if he reported me, I will do the same.

{Yeah, tell them that. What happened doesn`t have anything to do with the back door-}

'Oh shuush!!'

..

My eyes landed on Tsukimi who was curled up on the bed. She was not crying anymore but her eyes looked dead.

The lighthearted feeling I had moments ago also evaporated. I walked towards her and this time she didn`t even have the courage to look at me.

I towered over her and looked down at her for a while. Her face was buried in her knees while her arms wrapped around them. She was near the edge of the bed so she was in arms length from me.

I stretched out my arm and put my hand on her head and ruffle her hair softly.

I asked in the lowest and most monotone voice possible. As if I didn`t care.

I acted as if she never meant much to me - that what happened today merely hurts my pride as a man. And not my heart.

"Why did you do it?"

She shivered when she heard my voice.

She choked but then calmed down her breathing. Then she looked up at me, eyes subservient. Then she spoke in a rather well put and calm manner.

"I am a slut."

...

Okay, I didn`t expect that level of honesty. I didn`t know how to respond but luckily she continued.

"That`s all there is to it. I don`t think there is anything else." she finished and looked down again.

"Would it have been different if we had gotten intimate?" I asked, still weirded out about how she was responding to me.

I expected an excuse, maybe shouting and even her blaming this on me since I have done nothing to her. Or the most likely which was her begging for forgiveness and acting pitiful.

But I didn`t expect this at all.

She shook her head, "I wouldn`t trust myself to it."

So she just admitted that she is a trashy girl who is too horny for her own good and can`t stay loyal.

Great. But it would feel greater if I said that to her face though.

I sighed and took my hand away from her head and she looked up at me. I didn`t say I forgive her because she never said sorry.

It`s as if she didn`t want my forgiveness.

The moment I found out who Tsukimi really was, one part of my mind expected this outcome and have thought about the best thing to do in that situation.

And after thinking calmly, the best action was to just leave. No need more drama, no need for anger. I don`t even want her to know that she hurts me.

Just stoicism.

"I guess this is it. The lies were fun while it lasted." I said, my voice still monotonous. As if I was just talking about the weather.

"Its over now." I said and she paused.

Her eyes which was looking at me became blank and I wam pretty sure she didn`t even see anymore. Her body shook a little before she quickly looked down and said..

"I understand."

Then she was just solid. No movement, no sound. She wasn`t even breathing.

I turned around and walked away too.

"I hope we never meet again, Tsukimi." I said when I opened the door.

Then I closed it. It was probably the hardest and saddest door I had ever closed.

I sighed.

"Its over." I said and chuckled. I felt relieved.

{Well, look on the bright side, you have an ex now. God I wish I had an ex.}

I smiled and went down the floors and onto the ground floor. I went to the receptionist and bought the room for one more day.

"My friend really likes the room, especially the bathroom. He refused to leave it." I said and the receptionist laughed.

"I hope you visit again and I hope your friend enjoys his stay." the receptionist said politely.

'Of course he would enjoy it.'

I thanked her for the final time and went out of the hotel. I have been here only for a short time and the sky was already dark.

The buildings were filled with lights and there were not many people around. They all minded their own business.

I walked through the sketchy street. It was only early in the night but I already saw drunk men passing out on the side of a building.

The place was really dangerous and I think I saw drug dealers too.

'Scary~'

I continued walking and after a short while I saw another mess. This time it was a man touching and pulling on a girl dressed in something her father should never see.

"Come ne, I am short only on a few hundred yen!!" The man holding her said. His other hand was holding an beer bottle.

"Fuck off, or else I am going to scream." The girl warned.

I stopped walking and just watched their interaction. Nobody else even bothered stopping and just walked pass them as if this was a normal occurrence.

I stopped because I had a single thought in my mind.

'What if Tsukimi gets attacked?'

{Dude, are fucking serious right now?}

What? Is that wrong?

{After all that shit you still cared for her? I am pretty sure that slut will like it if she gets attacked.}

'But she can also hate it. We never know.' I said and I was already heading back to the love hotel.

{Bro, you are really going back? Aren't you ashamed? You even said that you hoped to never see her again!!}

The author kept bitching about me being a beta cuck or something but I honestly just turned his voice off in my head after the first insult.

{You are ending my writing career bro..}

I reached the hotel and told the receptionist I forgot something before going up the floors quickly.

I quickly reached the door of the room and when I did I got a notification from my system.

*ting!!!*

[Title gained : The nice guy]

I stopped for a moment and looked at the notification. I smiled.

I opened the door and the moment the door opened the sound of tragic sobbing greeted my ears.

Tsukimi was still on the bed. Her face was pushed on the bed sheets and her hands were tightly grabbing the mattress.

She was crying hard. I guess she was barely holding it back when I confronted her.

Hearing the sound of the door she looked up. Her eyes were mere slits and bloodshot red. They were puffy and looked swollen. Her nose and her cheeks were bright red too.

Not to sound like a dick but I like that expression on her.

She froze when she saw my face which peeked through the door.

There was an awkward silence where we just stared at each other. I think she stopped working due to the shock.

"Umm...Do you want me to walk you home? It`s dangerous at night." I said.

She processed that for a while before giant tears sprang out from her eyes again. She was crying harder now.

But that was not all, she was also laughing between her sobs.

"I am glad.." she choked out and I didn`t hear what she said next. '..you didn't change.'

She continued crying tragically while also laughing in joy.

{She's crazy.}

I agree.

.

.

.

.

She continued crying for a while and I just waited patiently in silence. I should be the one crying but it felt like she was crying for me too.

{Yuito?} the author suddenly called my name, he never did that.

'Hmm?'

{I take back what I said about you.}

??

{I am glad you are the main character of my story.}

What the fuck is he talking about? And why the hell did he say that so passionately!!!

'Stop being weird bro, I'm not gay.'

The author just laughs.
