Chapter 44 Conflicting emotions of Julia

"Thanks." Aron was about to continue with his lecture when the girl intervened. "I know, your memories might be traumatizing from that night, but how did you know that doing the 'thing' will help?" The boy can tell that she was trying to probe things, most probably about that non-human lady who was there with them in the cave.

She was there all night, and the lady was not trying to be subtle at all. So, in all possibilities, he can't outrightly deny her existence. "It was an expert. She was the one who guided me through all that. She told that there was no other way, and you were going to lose your life in the span of the night."

Julia had this much idea about the events, no way the boy could have come up with the method on his own. "Anything on her? Like did she tell you her name?" Aron shook his head. "Nothing. She appeared out of nowhere and I don't know when she left, since I was already reeling under the effects of the poison."

He had a hunch that this was not the last time he had met with the woman. Those dreams had subsided for now, but he can feel that she was connected to him by a strange bond. That's why he answered Julia's further questions about her appearance, vaguely.

"Okay." Julia nodded her head. It was a waste trying to get the boy to recall anything from that night. She herself had heard those gut-wrenching screams and cries of pain and despair, just the fact that he had not lost all his memories was a blessing.

*Meoww* Lost in thought, a fur ball jumped in Julia's lap and began playing licking on her hands cutely. She picked up the little kitten and kissed its face, after which she let it settle in her lap, rubbing its belly. "It sure loves you." Aron tried to pick up the little guy, only to be met with a display of its sharp teeth.

Julia chuckled as Aron pulled his hand back in shock. "Well, I am the one feeding her, all this time." She giggled cutely and realized what she did, her face flushed up. "Cough.. let's begin with our lessons today." Aron was still trying to tickle the kitten, only to have his fingers slapped away every time.

An hour passed and they took a break, Aron taking a bath on Julia's suggestion and the girl prepared some snacks for him. He didn't refuse her, drying his long hair before settling with her to have a short meal.

"I am impressed how well you have grasped everything. To tell you the truth, these days I am struggling to keep up with all that knowledge." Julia remarked, trying to find a piece of beacon for her little cat. "Ohh.. it might be because I got a better teacher than you hehe.."

"Hmm? You mean that lady you once told me about? Does she teaches you regularly?" Seeing him nod his head in agreement, Julia was surprised. When did the teachers become so free to provide individual tuition to students? Not to mention Aron was not even a student yet?

"Her name is Ms. Darlene. Most of the time she explains a few concepts for half an hour every day and then I will read the books repeating whatever she told in my mind. Though I didn't find her anywhere today." Aron was in thought so he didn't notice the scrunched-up face of Julia.

"Please tell me you are not sleeping with her to pay her back for the generosity?" Aron choked up on his food, beating his chest until the girl passed him the water. *Cough* *Cough* Julia didn't know what came to her mind when she spoke but her heart was in rebel mode, unwilling to let the matter rest, especially after such a reaction from the boy.

"Cough.. *gulp* *gulp* haah.." Aron felt the food settle in the correct location and took a deep breath. "Why would I do that? Ms. Darlene is a kind woman. We just met randomly and found me struggling with the books, deciding to help me out."

Julia was skeptical of his claim, all these days on fact was clear beyond doubt, this boy was a complete chick magnet. And if the lady is a middle-aged one, they are just all over him. Be it Mrs. Yana, aunt Mary and now this Ms. Darlene, one after the other so many ladies appeared all within a span of two weeks.

"Huh.. forget it. I know you got in trouble because of our errors, but I will suggest not seeking out older ladies for your issues. You don't know which one can turn out to be a predator." "Haain?" Aron had no idea what she was talking about, but the girl went on her own tangent.

Only when she had talked for 5 minutes did he realize where she was coming from and accordingly, his face blushed up. "Ahem... It's not that bad. And who even told you that?" "Aunt Mary." Getting the answer he can only cringe. "Well, I can't say I am perfectly fine, but... After that event with the poison, my instincts seemed to have been suppressed to a great extent. Now I don't need a release that often."

He observed Julia's face heat up just like his. She turned to look to her window. "If it turns too bad, you can come to look for me. We will see what we can do." That took all the courage that she could muster. It was her duty to do at least that, since she can't even imagine the trauma the boy must have been going on with every erection.

"Does it hurt every time, it's up?" She didn't let the boy answer her back, changing to the topic so that it sounds more medical than sexual. "Hmm.. yeah... it's bad during the mornings. It's very hard to get it down sometimes." Aron too felt more at ease talking like he was explaining to her the intricacies of a diagnosis.

"Okay. Like I told you, just come here if it turns out of control. Other than that, I will try to look for some solutions on my end." Aron smiled bitterly. "Please don't bother wasting your time, if there is then I believe Mrs. Yana will find it. It's better if you focus on your studies after that last project of yours failed to take off."

Julia completely forgot about that, Mrs. Yana must have been the first one to discover his condition. If diagnosing it was so easy, she would have helped him out already. "Guess you are right." She agreed but a question reverberated in her mind and she can't help but ask the boy.

"If you don't mind it, did Mrs. Yana also help you out in some way?" Though the boy was awkward talking about it, he answered anyhow. "Yeah, two times. With her hands." Julia's eyes were wide as she glared at the boy, almost scaring him. So, this adulterous couple had already moved beyond bathing together?

"Huh!!" She didn't know who to be mad at, on the boy for being such a doll face, on Mrs. Yana for being such an easy woman, or on herself for caring so much about this issue. "What happened?" Aron can't tell but the girl was radiating bad vibes. Unable he figure out what he said wrongly, he remained silent.

"I think we are done here. Let's go, why don't you return home." Julia had picked the plate from the table while the boy was still eating. "Ahem... I was not done with that?" "Ohh.. no, no, you are done with plenty of things already. Now if you can excuse me. And, please don't come here tomorrow, I will contact you once I have digested all earlier lessons."

Aron can tell she was mad at something, hence he didn't argue any further. "Okay." Julia locked her arms on her chest, mad at anything and everything around her. She had no idea what caused this outburst, but she can't control it.

"Aaaaghh.. what's wrong with me?" Once she was left alone in the room, the girl can only cry to the walls. Slipping in the bed, she gritted her teeth. Now that Aron was gone she was madder. "Idiot..!!"

The next day Aron didn't go to the library. Today he was going to try casting the spell in the end. His heart was pounding in his chest in anticipation. He had worked so hard for this day. "Yo! Old man! How are you?" He was certain that he heard the gnashing of teeth. He was back at the necromancy store to collect the last piece of item.

"Haha.. you don't look too good. I think I will check with Mrs. Rumi." He didn't tease the man any further, briskly entering the shop and reaching to the inner section, finding Rumi meditating at her usual position. Her eyes opened to find a smiling Aron in front of her.

"So you are back, cute face." "Hehe.. can't go casting with an item missing, now can I?" "Good, we just received the shipment. How about you go to the end of this corridor? You will find a girl there, ask her to provide you the gall of Erier snake."

Aron nodded and without thinking twice, stepped towards his destination. It was a type of storeroom, at the end. It was relatively dark in there, and the amount of necromancy-related items store here made the environment quite spooky.

"Hello? Is someone here?" No response. He walked further in, a few more tries later, he heard a reply. "Yeah, who are you?" Aron saw a young girl walking towards him from the dark, with a large wooden carton in her hands. "Hmm? Ava?"

The short-haired girl too had discovered the familiar face. "Aron?" Finding that the girl was struggling with the load, he approached her, taking the carton from her. "Nice to meet you, Ms. Ava." The girl was a bit surprised to find the boy here, but she responded with a nod. "Good to meet you as well. Can you put it up there?"

"Yeah." She held the ladder for him, allowing the boy to reach to the top of the racks and place it there. "Thanks. So, are you here for something?" "Yeah, I need the gall of Erier snake." "Ohh.. so you are the boy looking for that. Mother had especially ordered that."

"Come with me." Ava walked over, followed by the boy. "Mrs. Rumi is your mother?" "Yeah. My family owns this place." "Wow... I never knew that." "What about you? When are you planning to cast your first spell?" "Haha.. today itself. That's why I am here."

Ava turned to look at him with squeezed eyes. "You sure look confident." Aron can only scratch his head, laughing ruefully. "Hopefully I won't have to return here for another set of ingredients." "It's okay, just be calm. I am not much of a caster either, but one thing even I can tell. The more you panic, the less your chances are for a successful casting."

"Thanks for the advice, I will keep it in mind." Ava nodded and climbed the rack to search for another wooden carton. Meanwhile, Aron's gaze can't help but appraise the bubble butt over his head. Possessing an athletic body, this girl had her own charm. Her shapely calves and things told him that she must be an avid runner.

The same was the case with her upper body. Usually, Aron was not very fond of short shoulder-length hair on girls, however, if it was Ava that it truly suited her. "How many do you need?" Her words shook him out of his pensive state. "Ahem.. two will be enough."

"That will be 8 silver coins." She jumped down from the ladder, landing right beside the boy. Aron noticed that she was lacking in the department of her chest. Not letting his gaze linger on her breasts, he hurriedly handed over the coins and picked up the two small jars.

"Then I will be taking my leave." Ava can tell that the boy just measured her tits. "Okay." Watching him leave, her hands cupped her chest while she gritted her teeth. These were not the proudest of her body parts and Hestia would never let go of any opportunity to mock her for that. "Tchh!"
