Chapter 58 – Over-Drunken Antics
Chapter 58 - Over-Drunken Antics
...
While I was feeling troubled over Celesta's close contact with my body, after being silent for some time, Celesta broke the silence and spoke,
"Hey, Carene? You are... here, right? I am not dreaming, right?"
Upon hearing Celesta's somewhat trembling voice, I couldn't help but tease her a little, as I replied to her,
"Of course, I am here. Where else would be if not here, you silly girl."
"That's great. Very great..."
After mumbling to herself for a bit, Celesta again asked me,
"Then, you would stay by my side from now on, right? You... won't leave my side again, right?"
Leaving Celesta's side?
Uh... I can't say that I haven't been thinking of it, since I must find a place for myself soon. I cannot keep on troubling Celesta's family forever.
"I... that..."
As if she had detected what I was about to say, Celesta turned to stare at me right into my eyes as she asked again,
"Will you..?"
D-Damn. I won't be able to refuse if Celesta asks me like that.
But, then what should I do about the other family members? They would all surely be troubled with me staying there for any longer.
As I kept hesitating to make a decision, I saw the pitiful look on Celesta's face... as if a puppy was about to be abandoned by its owner.
"Hah... alright. I will stay here, right next to you. But, only until you want me to, okay? If you don't want me to be here then... maybe I will leave at that time."
That's the utmost compromise I could do for Celesta. I can somehow put up with troubling others with my stay and bearing their unkind looks, but if Celesta is ever troubled because of me... then I would really leave that day.
Unlike how I had thought she would respond, Celesta hugged my neck tightly with both of her arms and screamed loudly,
"Nooo! Never! Carene will always stay with Celesta. It's final!"
Hey, hey, Celesta. The alcohol seems to be talking right now rather than you yourself.
As far as I know, once you find... a lover for yourself, you would certainly ask me to leave.
Yeah, let's stay put until then. I already feel very sleepy.
I couldn't tell when my eyes closed while comforting Celesta, as that was the last thing I remembered from that night.
...
When I opened my eyes in the morning, I found myself already sleeping in my room.
W-What happened?? I was sitting together with Celesta, wasn't I? How could it be that I am here now?
Ah! It must have been Isla who brought me here. Otherwise, I don't think anyone else would have even bothered to help me like this, as Celesta was already dead drunk, while Jorah couldn't possibly help me upstairs in my intoxicated state.
Thank goodness then. She must have sent Celesta back to her room as well.
Really, it's great to have a dependable Elder figure in the house... even if I have already laid my hands on her.
I have sinned. Greatly in fact.
Getting up from the bed, I swiftly took a bath, brushed my teeth, and dressed up in a pair of blue long jeans and a fitting purple shirt.
Well, what can I say... I feel that it is still too early for me to wear those frilly and feminine clothes so suddenly. Still, these clothes do nothing to hide my bountiful chest or my curvy waist...
Although I do hope to wear more frilly and girly clothes one day, my heart isn't prepared for that yet. Well, if either Isla or Sis Lin asked me to wear one privately... I just might do it for them.
For now, I guess these would do. I am not going to the College to seduce men anyways. Besides, I think that girls are attracted to more tomboyish females. Although I won't be looking to get into any more serious relationships, a few casual hookups won't hurt anyone, would they?
Yes! Let's begin my College life as a philandering Futanari Girl!!
...
"But, I think that you don't have to go to your College immediately, right~?"
My request was... immediately shot down, by none other than Isla.
The whole family, plus the Tenant and I were having breakfast together. Although I call it breakfast, we just heated up the leftovers from last night.
They were all still good to eat, and wasting good food is a big sin.
Most of the family members except Jorah looked to have not slept well, especially Celesta and the Tenant who seemed to be suffering from minor hangover symptoms. The twins looked a bit lethargic compared to their usual selves. As for Isla, the she-demon was behaving completely normal, as if the amount of Beer that she had yesterday had no effect on her at all.
I give up. Isla is a woman too full of mysteries. Maybe I won't be able to completely understand her abilities throughout my life.
While we were all having our quiet breakfast, excluding the ever-lively Jorah's attempts to create a discussion amongst the lazy and lethargic family members, I decided to talk directly to Celesta sitting directly across from me.
"Hey, Celesta? Um, I was thinking that it has been a good while since I have been to College. I know that I have to see some good Doctors to have myself checked, but I have already acquired the necessary documents for me to rejoin the Campus. Shall we go to College today?"
"Eh?? Umm, about that... you see..."
I had thought that Celesta would have happily agreed to my suggestion, however contrary to what I expected, it looked like she had something to say about that.
Is there something bothering her? Is it about some trouble back in the Camp? Come on, Celesta. You can tell me anything. I will do my best to help you out.
Celesta fidgeted for a good while as I awaited to hear her response. It was somewhat shocking then that it was Isla who responded to my question.
What does she mean by 'I don't have to go to the College today'? Please don't forget how much trouble Sis Lin and I went through just so that I could rejoin the College. What could be the reason that Isla is declining me from going today? Is there a good enough reason that I don't know about?
As if she could read my questioning face, Isla smirked mischievously, as she covered her mouth with her palm and spoke slyly,
"Well, you see. Celesta arrived just today. You don't know about it, but she is a very serious girl in her studies. She has rarely ever taken a day off and had always rejected any offers to have fun visits from her friends."
"However, now that she has just come back from such a tiring study tour, I believe that she must take a break. And so, I have already reserved two movie tickets for the two of you. And... I won't take no for an answer from either of you. Stop holding yourself within the house all day. Go out and have some fun. Here, take some money to get something good to eat. And don't come back before evening, alright?"
H-Hold on a second?! Isn't that supposed to be... like a date?!
An impromptu date with Celesta?!! Ehh?! But, how could that be?!
Celesta just wants us to be friends. If I go out with her like that, won't she think that I am overstepping the boundary of our relationship? WOn't she begin to hate me then?!!
There was a sudden silence within the Dining room, with not even the sound of any movements from the bowls or spoons. Everyone was petrified by the sudden statement from the head of the household.
Celesta looked absolutely shocked from hearing Isla's sudden declaration. Well, I was no different, as even I began to wonder what was going on within Isla's crafty brain.
And... it was neither Celesta nor me who replied to that statement from Isla.
"W-What?!! T-They are going on a date? But, Mom... it isn't right to do this, right? I mean, although this... woman is staying together with us for now, we can't let her behave as she wishes in front of us, right? After all, she is an outsider staying temporarily here. I wonder if we should allow an outsider to approach any of us so closely. Yeah, I absolutely object to them going on a movie date!"
It wasn't surprising for me to see Lara opposing my stay here. Although I don't feel happy about a lot of things that she says... she is right about one thing.
I am not a permanent member of the house here. Even the Tenant belongs here more than me. And... if she could stop Isla now, maybe Celesta won't begin to hate me...
Isla looked completely unaffected by Lara's sudden outburst, as she silently pushed two tickets toward me and spoke,
"I already said it, right? I would take no objections. And I mean from anyone here. And you, Celesta... wear something good today, alright? Have some fun and cheer up already! Don't keep such a long face all day around me. I... love to see you smile happily. I am sorry that I haven't been around to care about you much. And, this goes to all of you, even you, Lara. I plan on being more involved with all of your lives personally. So, be prepared! Although I may make some mistakes along the way, I will do my best to correct them. So... please allow me to repair our relations properly, everyone."
Isla... I see. So she plans for Celesta to blow off her stress from her tour by having us watch the movie together. It would be troubling for a girl as beautiful and popular as her to go watch a movie alone while being harrassed by flirty men.
What was I thinking so much for? It's not a date, you idiot Carene. Stop trying to overthink like this. There is no meaning in keeping these stupid hopes anymore, me.
...
While I was lost in my thoughts, apart from the Tenant and me, all the girls stood up and left to hug Isla instantly.
Even the cold and arrogant Lara had joined the group hug while shedding tears quietly.
I guess these girls also wished to be closer to their Mother. Heck, who am I kidding? They only have their mother left as the only true elder around them. They must have wished to depend on her a lot.
"Hehehehe! I knew it! Mom is the best!!"
"Mom... thank you for saying that. I will... try to be a good daughter to you too."
"Ueeehh..."
"... *sniff*..."
Jorah was laughing and jumping happily, while Celesta had a big smile on her face. Lara and Lanita were both sticking their faces into Isla's chest, crying wordlessly.
What a warm family moment. And unfortunately... I have no part in it.
I really don't belong here at all. I-I must leave this house soon. That way, maybe Celesta and the others would be less troubled.
...
And, as a result of the morning discussion, I can only go to the College tomorrow. Well, since it helps my friend, Celesta by doing that, I would definitely agree wholeheartedly.
Celesta left with Isla to change into some good clothes, while I kept waiting at the dining table.
Jorah already left for her school with the twins, while the Tenant returned back to her room. I decided to bury the teary-eyed emotional face of the Tenant within my memories. I would certainly be fun to tease her about it someday, right?
Ah, no good. That girl might flip my sadistic switch on. Hmm... well, that may be better than me becoming masochistic instead.
After passing the time waiting in silence, and drinking some lemonade to overcome the light hangover, Celesta finally returned along with Isla.
And, what can I say about her appearance, but... WOW.
Unlike her usual self, she was wearing a pink one-piece mini dress, that barely helped to cover her bountiful chest or her smooth thighs. The dress ended a bit above her knee, giving me a very good look at her beautiful body.
Her hair was also tied up in a very complex yet beautiful manner.
Overall, she looked terribly gorgeous and seductive.
Aunt Isla... my Great Aunt Isla, you don't want Celesta to go out wearing... THAT, right?!
I mean, even as a woman... almost, I feel immensely attracted to her, so what about those hungry wolves in men's clothing that are awaiting to devour this poor sheep??
It's a bad idea, I tell you. A VERY bad one indeed.
Although I would love to keep a pic of her in this dress... I don't want others to ogle my Celesta like that!
Ah, I mean, our Celesta...
Anyways! Did you even ask her opinion on if she wanted to wear this one?
Look! Her face is as red as a tomato right now!
Aunt Isla... just grow up as a Mother already!!
...
A/N: Have a good time everyone.
