Chapter 153 – Reunion
Chapter 153 - Reunion
...
<POV: Carene>
As I saw Isla's Brother coming to his senses again, I chose to hide and observe them from a distance again. The bickering buddies had chosen to agree on something as the white flag of peace fluttered between them.
Of course, they were still making snide remarks at each other subconsciously. Perhaps it had become a habit for them by now?
Knowing how the bar would soon descend into chaos, I tried to ignore the others as much as possible and started to chat with my friends again.
It didn't take too long for a large group of fierce-looking men dressed in suits while hiding weapons within their clothes to forcefully enter the Bar. Not wasting any time, the group made their way towards the hidden pathway to the back of the ladies' toilet.
What happened next could be easily imagined, as I watched the proceedings happen without letting the ugly details affect me too much.
The pig-like squealing noises came from somewhere before the mafia-like group of men began to drag the oily old men behind them. The leader of the group came at last while supporting his drunk wife carefully. She was complaining earlier about her husband not being faithful to her to someone when I found her in the toilet before.
When I heard that she was the wife of a gang boss, I knew that was my chance for revenge on those old fuckers. There was a chance that she might have been harmed by them, but I had to do something rather than not.
Ideal solutions and ideal answers don't always exist. I don't regret it, though.
If I need to be a demon for my loved ones, then I don't mind becoming one.
But it was thanks to the couple having problems that led to my revenge, and the lady looks to have made out without much trouble.
I chose to take my focus away from them and focused on Isla again when her Brother returned to the Bar with a pale face as he helped his sister up and hailed a taxi to return to the hotel.
Not far behind, we three caught a taxi to trail behind them again.
...
The rest of our trip in the foreign land turned out to be very uneventful, as Isla just lazed around in her Brother's house.
On the other hand, from my conversations with Celesta on the phone, it seemed that she had been busy trailing Jorah & Lanita on their trip with their friends. Celesta pouted heavily over the phone as she let out her grievances from having to fend off annoying guys targeting her Sisters.
Luckily, they were no match for Celesta and were dealt with in the shadows. Their trip ended earlier than ours, with Lanita and Jorah returning to their studies already.
With a lot of time on her hands now, Celesta called frequently, stressing repeatedly on how empty the house felt and to return early. Well, things went as she wished, as the next morning arrived with the news of Isla returning with the afternoon flight.
We three hurriedly booked the morning flight and departed early to not being found out by Isla.
After a seven-hour flight, we three returned home, with Lara becoming strangely nostalgic as she hugged her sisters, Jorah and Lanita, heartily.
Well, maybe even an Evil Dragon gets sentimental after being away from home for too long. It didn't take long for her to pull Lanita and Jorah towards her room to talk about each other's adventures.
Karime told me that she had something else to do and went somewhere after dropping us off at home.
And that was how there were two people left here who had been away from each other for too long. Some sudden private time with my girlfriend in the living room? Oh, I am down for that!
"C-Celesta, um... have you been eating properly? You look so thin right now..."
Celesta didn't answer me, as she rushed at me instead and hugged me tightly, with my head leaning on her soft chest.
"Of course, I am no good. With Carene not around me, every day is torture to go through. Never again... I won't let you out of my sight for so long... ever again..."
Feeling the resolve within Celesta's words, I became more and more aware of her inner, fragile self. Of course, I did enjoy her subtle body scent, her warm hug, and the crazy fast beating heart close to my chest.
I naturally returned the warm hug and buried my head into her breasts. Don't get me wrong, I do feel very sentimental about the situation, as a sense of warmth and relief washes over me. It's just... getting some advantages from your girlfriend is natural, right? It must be!
"Don't worry. I don't plan on being away from my cute girlfriend either. Wherever you are, that is where I want to be as well. I missed you a lot, m-my girlfriend..!"
Aahhh! I still stuttered at the important part! It's still so embarrassing to act so intimate with her. I am no expert at sweet talk after all. And I stated my words so well too... Indirectly referring to each other is somewhat okay, but being flirty with Celesta so directly, I am just not used to it!
Not yet, at least. I just can't help but feel shy about flirting smoothly! What can you expect from an ex-forever single person like me? I am no romance god.
Celesta looked very satisfied with my words, despite my messing up again, as she giggled in delight and spoke,
"Of course, I would like that as well. Ah! Mom's text came just earlier. Her flight is about to arrive. I am about to go to the Airport to receive her. Carene, you have to behave and be a good girl while I am gone. Wait for me here to come back, okay?"
Uncharacteristically, Celesta patted my behind playfully while she spoke, with a playful smile adorning her face. My head automatically buried itself deeper into her breasts while embarrassment over being teased by Celesta overwhelmed me.
Uwah..! My Celesta became so naughty all of a sudden! S-She wasn't like this before?
Is it because I had been away for nearly a week? Or... has she changed her treatment of me due to our now official relationship?!
Well... whatever the reason might be... I like it!!
Oh, right... Celesta said that we can't do the 'main' thing until we get married, but... is everything other than that Okay?
Hmm... maybe I should try asking that sometime... when the mood is right, of course.
For now... just spoil me rotten!!
...
