Chapter 141 – Spoiling Intentions

Chapter 141 - Spoiling Intentions

...

Having made Celesta satisfied, I sat down next to her and began to appreciate her efforts from early in the morning.

"Wow... although I eat your cooked meals daily, you are really something, Celesta. Your girl power is supremely enhanced by your ability to satisfy my stomach. And in comparison, I still can't cook so well..."

"Hmm? I won't say that, though. Jorah told me that you have been steadily improving your cooking. Just don't lose hope or give up. That is enough to help you through the beginning period."

Celesta flashed me a smile while looking very cool. I had already realised how she had so many different aspects to herself.

Her cool self, her cute self, her valiant self, her sulking self... all of them look so charming!

As the main theme of today's lunch was fried items along with salad, Celesta was having fun eating, and I began to fully engage myself in the meal as well.

"How has the day been going, Carene? I had been so swamped with work that I had no time to attend the Lectures. I would just visit the Professors later on and get them to teach me instead."

So Celesta took out a little time for me even when she was so busy... my girlfriend is so considerate...

"Ah, nothing much. It's just like usual. Although a new lady lecturer came and taught us today."

"Oh, how was she? Did she have trouble adapting to the class?"

"No, no, she didn't look troubled at all. Rather, she acted like a fish in water. She is a pro already, especially when dealing with rough students."

"I see. That's a relief. I was worried that she wouldn't be able to get along with the students."

Celesta let out a sigh of relief, while I became charmed by her cute gesture again.

But... she is a very smart girl. In comparison, I may come across like an airhead. Are airheads still popular? I do hope that they are...

When there was only a little remaining of our lunch, Celesta picked some food onto her spoon as she pushed it towards me and spoke,

"Here, Carene. This one tastes the best. Now, open your mouth and say aaah."

W-What?! Is Celesta going to feed me as well?!

Woahh!! Thank you, God, for this sweet day to arrive in my pathetic life! I will do my best to enjoy it too!

"So, is it good?"

"Un, it's really good. T-Then, here. Say aaahh."

Celesta blushed a little when I brought some on my spoon to her, but she still ate it while smiling brightly.

"Hehehe, it's not warm anymore, yet my body is getting warm instead."

Wut? What did she say?!

Body warmed... d-does she mean normal warmth... or body in heat..?

No, no. Celesta isn't like that. Stop getting carried away by your dirty thoughts, me.

We two had fun chatting, but Celesta could only take a ten-minute break and had to leave early.

With nothing left to do, I killed some time in the Cafeteria before dealing with the remaining lectures of the day.

That reminds me... I haven't had a date yet with Celesta after we became a couple, officially.

Should I ask her out soon? Where would she like to go??

Hmmm... who to ask..?

Oh! Sis Lin! She must totally know the good places in the City. Better give her a call.

Uh, the line is busy. Maybe it's her working hours right now.

Oh, a message arrived.

<Sorry. I am attending to patients, so I couldn't take the call. What's up?>

Hey, hey. Is it really okay to text me while dealing with the patients?

But... it still makes me happy that she didn't ignore me.

<Uh, does Sis Lin know of a few good date spots?>

<Date spots? Planning a date with your girlfriend?>

S-She found out!! Is she a psychic or something?

<How about we go visit a few places this afternoon? Then you could plan the date schedule as per her preferences.>

Oo...ooh. Wait, Sis Lin looks so calm about all of this. Does she not get jealous of me dating someone else?

Then again, she herself said that it wasn't a problem when I honestly confessed everything.

It makes me glad to have a cool-headed adult as my partner. I definitely won't give up on you, Sis Lin!

<Sure. Then it's a date today, Sis Lin. Between you and me. Let's end things at a love hotel tonight!>

Hehehe, it would be great to make Sis Lin a little flustered as well.

There were no messages for a while before a single message arrived.

<Okay~>

...

Knowing Celesta had to be busy for the rest of the day, I took off early from the College and dropped off near our home.

After carefully choosing a more girly and frilly outfit, I went out to meet Sis Lin at our meetup location.

Still, Sis Lin is a real pro at these things. It hadn't been long, and yet she had already decided our first date location.

Upon reaching the said place, I gave Sis Lin's phone a call and soon found her beautiful and charming self waving at me delightfully.

So cute... Sis Lin looks so much younger today!

She wore an uplifting color combination of clothes, along with the light makeup on her face and her hair tied in a ponytail... Sis Lin looked years younger than before.

It really made me happy that she dressed up for my sake. Of course... there were stares from the male species of Homo sapiens who eyed my Sis Lin ravenously.

Hmph! Look all you want, but none of you can have her! She is mine! Mine!!

Rushing towards the inviting beauty, Sis Lin smiled at me sweetly as she spoke,

"Hey there, Carene. You arrived somewhat earlier than planned."

"What are you saying, Sis Lin? It's you who came too early! You should have told me to come here earlier, too..."

"Hehehe, that's all fine. Now, this is the first location for our date today~! Exciting, isn't it?"

"Y-Yes, it is..."

The first date location introduced by Sis Lin was... an Aquarium.

It was actually a huge tourist-level spot, so it wasn't desolate, but Sis Lin wanted to come here first by all means.

"The fishes here are so cute~! You will see, Carene. I heard that they even brought a shark here recently~!"

W-What?! Sh-Shark??

Sis Lin... you sure like some abnormal things.

A-Anyways... what I need to do here is more important than the presence of dangerous carnivorous sea creatures. And that is..!

"Eh? Ah, Carene..."

Sis Lin muttered as I grasped her hand within mine. This time, I was able to do it pretty smoothly, and Sis Lin's bashful reaction to it really made my day.

Maybe this date would be really enjoyable after all...
