Chapter 249: Rick Became Supernaturally Handsome In The End!
Chapter 249: Rick Became Supernaturally Handsome In The End!
The warm rush of the shower water cascaded over our shoulders, filling the space with a thick, heavy mist. Ling smiled gently, her wet fingers tracing the contours of my face before sliding down to rub my chest and arms.
"Fuck, Rick, after forming your golden core, your body is absolutely perfect," she murmured, her eyes scanning my altered features with deep fascination. "You are so handsome now you could easily star as the main character in one of those trashy urban web novels, fufu."
I ran my hands along her waist, examining her newly flawless skin. The texture possessed a supernatural durability, yet felt incredibly fair and soft to hold. Her gaze remained calm, signaling that she had already adjusted to the perfection of our ascended forms, likely remembering that our past life bodies were just as immaculate as the ancient immortals.
I leaned down and kissed her deeply, tasting the fresh water on her lips before bringing up the question that had been burning in my mind. "After we leave Club Di, are you coming back with me to the underground mansion, or are you flying out to White State to help Logan?"
She reached over and twisted the metal handle, shutting off the spray. The sudden silence left only the sound of dripping water echoing against the tiles.
"I will go and say goodbye to everyone, and hold our Tim," Ling replied, her expression softening as she grabbed a towel. "Even though not much can easily kill you and me now, if my airplane is shot down or crashes, I can still die. So just in case, I want to hold our child from this life."
I nodded slowly, understanding the grim reality of our situation. Even though our current cultivation allowed us to shrug off sniper rounds without a scratch, our eyes and groins remained vulnerable weak spots. Massive explosive bombs could still severely injure us, and a catastrophic plane crash would surely end our lives just the same.
"Okay, my wife, let us get back on the road and head to Star City," I said, stepping out of the shower stall and drying myself off. "I am going to tell my family everything about me being the Yellow Emperor. Well, most of my lovers know, but not my kids, sigh."
I reached over to pinch her damp cheek, flashing a small grin to break the serious mood. "We will only let Lucy know of Empress Ling Ling though. We can blame my superhuman exploits on being the Yellow Emperor to hide our shared Dual Cultivation. But it really is a shame the other wives need a Dao Heart to cultivate, sigh."
Ling wrapped the towel tightly around herself and began drying off my back, her movements steady and reassuring. "Be thankful that with your medical knowledge and Chi you can help their health. That is something other ordinary humans can never have. Besides, in our past lives, Dual Cultivation was a strict, monogamous-one-lover skill. We should be blessed and thankful we found one another again, right?"
"You are right," I murmured, turning around to face her.
I leaned down and helped her gently slip into her black silk panties, enjoying the smooth contrast against her skin. Once we were both fully dressed in clean clothes, we left the building and began the journey back to Star City.
It was around 7:30 AM when the borrowed black Porsche 911 rolled into the above-ground parking garage. The structure sat directly behind the brand-new apartment complex, right across the street from the old building where Mary and I used to live. We had purposely taken the female Fire Birds manager's car and left my motorcycle behind, solely because we did not want Adam to spot us riding back into Star City.
We got out of the vehicle, walked into the lobby, and took the elevator straight up to the thirteenth floor. Stepping out into the hallway, we walked to the door of room number seven to locate our destination.
Once inside apartment seven, we walked directly into the bathroom and gripped the two water faucets on the shower wall. We twisted them in a precise sequence, mimicking the movements of a combination lock. The shower wall suddenly growled to life, shifting backward to reveal a hidden elevator door.
Ling'er and I stepped into the lavishly decorated elevator cage without hesitation. My finger pressed the single glowing button that reads, [Heavenly Palace!]
After a quick moment of smooth descent, the golden-plated elevator doors slid open to reveal an incredible scene.
Every single one of my official lovers was gathered in the massive room, standing together for the very first and last time. Victoria Long, Tina Feng, Linda Lang, Mary Lee, Nichole and Nadia Tang, Hana Lee, Kim Smith, Kate Tang, Helen Tang, Empress Ning Qian-Tang, Mei Xia, Mercy Mu, Jennifer Han, Hinata Kyusho, May Lee, Lan Chow, Ana Zi, Gretta Yang, and Jill Feng were all waiting.
Seeing twenty of this world's most beautiful and alluring women standing in a perfect semi-circle took my breath away the moment the doors parted.
The heavy silence was broken by the sound of Ling Ling giggling at my side, which immediately shattered the stunned stares of the crowd.
"Damn it, Rick, you got more handsome again! Now I can't even go out in public with you!" Mei Xia cried out, lifting a hand to press against her forehead in fake sadness.
Her voice broke the spell, causing everyone to blink away the collective illusion that they were hallucinating my flawlessly smooth good looks, which had drastically altered since yesterday.
Seeing the predatory gazes forming in the eyes of a few of my wives, my finger shot out and rapidly pressed the close door button on the elevator panel.
Ling laughed even harder at my reaction, her shoulders shaking.
Before the metal barriers could fully seal, Mary's sharp voice echoed through the gap, yelling directly at me. "Rick Lee, if those doors close, don't you dare come back, you bastard!"
My hand shot forward, comically catching the edge of the sliding barrier to stop them from sealing shut. The safety mechanism engaged, causing the doors to slide open fully once again.
I chuckled softly, stepping out into the room to address the group of twenty women—twenty-one including Ling. "I wasn't fleeing, I promise. I just wanted to see this amazing sight one more time, so I was just closing the doors to open them again, not to run, haha!"
Many of the ladies rolled their eyes, fully aware of my bizarre sense of humor, while a couple of them looked visibly emotional that I had returned without any harm. My wives walked up and began hugging me one by one, comforting themselves with my presence.
As I looked around the grand living area, which was easily the size of a high school basketball court, I looked over at Victoria. "Why don't I see any of the kids, Vick?"
Kate stepped forward, answering on Victoria's behalf before she could speak. "We all knew you would be back this morning, so we had all the kids gather in the indoor theater to watch some of SEG's new, unseen films before they are released to the public. We knew you have to leave soon, so we all wanted to see you without the added chaos."
Ning'er, the youngest of my wives, stepped up to wrap her arms around my waist. She reached up to feel the smooth skin of my face, smiling up at me with a deep, knowing look in her eyes. "My Emperor, have you shed your old skin and decided to go public now? This Empress will also step into the light with you."
I leaned down and gently kissed her lips, nodding in response to her question. Since only half of my family either fully knew or had strong hunches about my identity as the Yellow Emperor, I turned to address the entire room.
"Gather all of the children into the grand living room," I commanded gently. "I am going to tell the entire family at once. The SEG team and I must leave for Central by noon. The whole world will know the truth then, and I want my family to know first."
Vicky, Jill, and Helen walked closer to my side, their expressions turning serious. Vick looked at me, her deep, resonant voice filling the space between us. "Are you absolutely sure, Husband?"
I nodded firmly, looking each of them in the eyes. "The Traditional Lee were the ones who hid and scrubbed our history. This fight on Adam's birthday will expose everything they tried to bury in Central for two thousand years. I am sure I want the world to know who and what I am, and my family deserves to know the most."
Naturally, I had no intention of mentioning Earth, cultivation paths, or the System. I would strictly share what the current world of Pangaea officially recognized about my past identity.
We decided to let the children finish the remaining minutes of their movie, knowing that stopping a film halfway through would only result in a room full of grumpy kids. During this short break, the women prepared a sumptuous breakfast.
Ling Ling and I sat down at the table and began eating, discussing the overall logistics and deciding exactly who would accompany me and the SEG team to Central.
When the women watched the two of us completely clear five full plates of breakfast due to our depleted calories, their jaws dropped in unison. It resembled an intense anime eating scene, though we maintained our proper table manners throughout the meal.
Before the children could exit the theater to join us, Lucy cleared her throat, preparing to drop a massive bombshell on the entire group.
"Cough! Victoria and Mary, you two deserve to know the most," Lucy announced, her voice turning uncharacteristically solemn. "Now that the fight in Central is drawing near, I want to tell you who I really am. I am Rick's biological aunt, and my real name is May Lee."
The room went entirely silent as she continued. "It was true about my inability to have a child, and my current age is real. The Lee Traditionalists tried and failed to kill me back then. And lastly, I am a super spy, fufu!"
The revelation of being an aunt was not a massive scandal in Pangaea culture, but the fact that she had seemingly returned from the dead just like my father was a massive shock to the women.
"Wait! You are that child predator hussy from Big Burger who was hitting on my little brother?!" Mary screamed, instantly slamming her hands on the table and pointing a finger in absolute shock.
May Lee did not even attempt to hide it, simply nodding her head in cheerful agreement.
I quickly reached over and covered Lucy's mouth with my palm, looking directly at Mary to defuse the tension. "Mary, she never touched me, and she never said or did anything inappropriate to me at all. We literally just ate fast food a few times at Big Burger. Everyone, though Lucy is a bit special, she wasn't like that, okay?"
Lucy managed to slip away from my grip, walking over to Mary's side of the table. She reached out and wrapped her arms around Mary in a tight, genuine hug.
"I loved your mother dearly," Lucy whispered softly against her shoulder. "I was absolutely heartbroken that I couldn't do anything to help you back then. I am truly sorry."
Mary was never actually upset with Lucy. In fact, she was only frustrated that she had failed to put two and two together sooner; as a former detective, it stung that she had missed such obvious clues in her own fuzzy memories. But when she heard the raw emotion in Lucy's voice and realized just how deeply the woman had known her late mother, the last of Mary's defenses crumbled. She wrapped her arms around Lucy, holding her tighter as she sniffled quietly into the warm embrace.
The rest of the ladies gathered around, easing the tension with gentle teasing as they openly discussed how they finally understood my lifelong preference for older women. The warm atmosphere was comforting, right up until Ning decided to pour gasoline straight onto the fire.
"Everyone, since everything is about to be known anyway, I have a confession of my own to make," Ning announced, stepping forward with an absolute straight face. "I am the actual ruler of the China Empire, Empress Ning Qian-Tang!"
A dead, heavy silence dropped over the massive room. The only sound following that absolute bombshell was the quiet crackle and flicker of the wood burning in the grand fireplace, as the majority of the room assumed she was pulling a massive prank.
"Ricky, she is completely kidding, right?" Nadia asked, her face deadpan as she pointed a finger directly at Ning, who was already blushing furiously under the scrutiny. "Did my husband literally conquer the entirety of China using nothing but his dick?!"
I rubbed the back of my neck, letting out a nervous, strained chuckle as twenty pairs of eyes whipped toward me. "Ning'er was technically my child bride. Since I was five and she was just a newborn, our parents arranged a formal union between our families. We honestly had no idea until after we officially got married later in life. It started as a marriage of convenience, but it turned into our real love story, cough."
Ning comically reached over and delivered a sharp pinch to my side, her face turning red as she pouted in classic tsundere fashion. "It was love at first sight, you absolute idiot, geez!"
Watching her flustered, regular reaction, the wives found it almost impossible to reconcile her words with reality. They couldn't believe this cute, proud noblewoman they had comfortably lived with for the past two years was the terrifying hidden leader of an entire empire.
Nichole blinked rapidly, processing the information before giving Ning an awkward, sheepish smile. "Hey, sister Ning, if I happened to say anything slightly rude or insensitive about China and the Emperor in the past, you won't actually hold it against me, right? Haha!"
Ning let out a soft huff, placing her hands firmly on her hips. She lifted her chin, looking down her nose at Nichole with an incredibly haughty but playful expression. "This Empress can only be officially offended if I am actively sitting upon the imperial throne holding court," Ning declared grandly. "But here, surrounded by my sister-wives, everyone is entirely free to express themselves. This Empress is exceptionally magnanimous, fufu. Oh, but you must absolutely come visit me in China when Rick makes his trip. I insist upon it for strict diplomatic reasons, of course."
I covered my face with a palm, letting out a low grumble directed toward Nichole. "Damn it, Nicky, look what you did. You got her talking in the third person again!"
My exasperated remark instantly blew away the lingering political tension, sending a wave of laughter through the group.
It was not too much longer before the heavy doors opened, and a massive line of thirty children—twenty-eight of my biological kids and two step-daughters—filed into the grand sitting room. I took a seat on a lone, plush armchair positioned perfectly in the center of the space, waiting to be surrounded by my massive family.
It was a sudden, violent shock to my mental health when all thirty kids rushed toward me at once. The deafening, synchronized screams of "Daddy!" were simultaneously adorable and utterly terrifying, making me feel like a global superstar suddenly thrown into a mosh pit of hungry, fanatic fans.
Except for Gretta's white-haired, gold-eyed daughters, who stood out noticeably due to their older age, the rest of the scene was a hilarious sight for the mothers watching from the background. It was a literal sea of black-haired, blue-eyed children ranging from one to five years old, all swarming my chair and scrambling for a spot on the floor, ready for storytime to begin.
Seeing the sheer volume of children gathered together, many of whom only met each other once or twice during family events, I raised a hand and pointed gently toward kids like Tim Sun and Luna Zi. "Alright, all of you, quiet down for a moment while I tell you, my children and family, a very important story."
The children stilled almost instantly, their eyes locking onto me as my commanding aura as their father settled over the room.
"First and foremost, every single one of you in this room is my child, which means all of you are brothers and sisters," I said, making sure my voice reached every corner. "We are all one family."
I turned my head and gave a warm nod to the awkward-looking, white-haired older girls, who were currently being stared at by the sea of younger toddlers. "Rayna and Tessa, that includes you two as well, haha. So relax and get comfortable. Now, Luna, come over here to Daddy."
Ana's daughter blinked, shifting out from the crowd of children. She pointed a tiny finger at her own chest, asking in a cute, sing-song voice, "Daddy, do you mean me?"
I reached out and pulled the adorable girl straight into my lap, pressing a warm kiss against her cheek. Aside from Alice Feng and Lilith Tang, who already knew her well as their sister, the gesture established her place perfectly.
I pointed toward Lucy Shen, who was standing nearby holding a parcel. "Go grab the heavy storybook from Aunt Lucy so Daddy can read it to everyone."
Seeing Luna get an extra kiss and a special task, Bella instantly grew jealous. She puffed out her cheeks and yelled at the top of her lungs, "Daddy, that is totally not fair! I want a kiss too!"
My eyes laser-focused onto one of my most troublesome and dramatic daughters. I leveled her with a firm, no-nonsense look.
"My little Bella, if you want absolute fairness from Daddy, then you cannot receive a single hug or kiss from me until every other child gets the exact equal amount that you alone have already taken," I explained calmly. "This means you might have to wait until you are ten years old to finally get another turn. What do you say about perfect fairness now, my little angel?"
Bella, being an incredibly smart cookie, blushed deeply as she realized she had been outmaneuvered. Her eyes darted around until they landed on Rick Jr.
Without hesitation, she threw the poor boy straight under the bus to save herself. "No, Daddy, don't be fair at all! It was actually Partner Rick who wanted fairness, hehe!"
I felt a sudden pang of sympathy for my boy. The poor kid had opened his big mouth yesterday, and now he was getting utterly crushed by the evil twin's swift revenge. I simply threw a supportive wink at poor Rick Jr., who was currently standing frozen in utter disbelief at his sister's betrayal.
Nadia could be heard in the back row, giggling as she teased the other wives about her eldest daughter's antics. "Ricky used that exact same line on me back when I was pregnant and begging him for more attention, fufu."
Lucy smiled, handing over a massive, heavy volume to little Luna. My daughter carefully ran the prize back across the floor, holding it up to me with both hands. I took the weight of the book, pointing to a small wooden padded stool right next to my seat.
"Daddy and some of your mothers have to go to Central for some SEG work very soon," I told the gathered crowd as they settled down. "We will be gone for a couple of weeks to film a massive action scene for a brand-new story. It is a real-life fairy tale that some of you might have already heard about, and your daddy is playing the main hero. It is this exact story right here."
I lifted the book high enough for all thirty children to see.
I was holding a large, hardcover book titled [The Yellow Emperor]. The cover was a deep, majestic blue, featuring an ornate, shimmering gold dragon design centered perfectly on the front. The title was stamped in heavy gold lettering, and the book's thick spine was decorated with alternating vertical patterns of blue, yellow, and gold leaf.
I crossed my legs comfortably and opened the pages of the book, which I had specifically ordered Lucy to custom-make for this exact moment.
Channeling my Acting Mastery skill, I let my voice drop into a deep, rich, theatrical resonance that captivated the room. "Long, long ago, in a Heaven far, far away... there was an Immortal king who was known across the cosmos as the Yellow Emperor! He was one of five amazing, supreme beings who led the humanity of all worlds into enlightenment, battle, love, evolution, and peace. The Yellow Emperor first arrived in Pangaea over thirty thousand years ago..."
For the next half hour, all thirty children and even the twenty-one women remained completely glued to my words. I delivered an incredibly expressive, gripping tale of everything known about this world's version of the Yellow Emperor, explicitly weaving in his historical visits under the alias of the Black Dragon. That final section made Hinata and Ryu beam with immense pride.
But as I finally reached the grand climax of the storytelling, I paused. I looked up from the pages, smiling warmly at my gathered family before delivering a line they would remember for the rest of their lives.
Snap!
I dramatically slammed the heavy cover closed, the sound echoing through the quiet room. I looked at my family with absolute seriousness. "Now, I will tell you the ultimate truth. I, Rick Lee—now officially Rick Lee-Tang—am the one and only Yellow Emperor. Your father is now announcing to the entire world that I have finally returned."
A few of the wives, like Ana and Gretta, stood entirely stunned, their expressions mimicking the speechless confusion of the younger kids. Mary and Hana had harbored strong hunches for a while, but they were still left completely breathless by how blunt and public the declaration was.
Lucy, completely unbothered by the gravity of the moment, simply pumped her delicate fist into the air and yelled out enthusiastically, "I love you, Yellow Emperor, fufu!"
Looking down at the crowd, I saw plenty of skepticism and doubt flickering in the eyes of my children. Deciding it was time to show off a little bit to cement the truth, I stood up from my plush armchair. My little rugrats instinctively parted like the Red Sea, creating a wide, clear path for me to walk through.
I marched straight up to the large, heavy sofa where Mary, Hana, Kim, and Victoria were currently sitting together. I looked down at them, flashing my trademark, slightly evil grin.
""""Ahh!""""
The moment I leaned down and gripped the solid, reinforced wooden frame of the wide couch, I pulled upward. In one swift, fluid, and effortless motion, I lifted the entire sofa—along with all four fully grown women sitting on it—straight into the air, holding it steady above my waist.
A synchronized shriek of absolute surprise erupted from the four wives as they clutched the cushions. In the background, both Ling Ling and Lucy were giggling uncontrollably at the sudden sight of over thirty family members standing frozen, their mouths wide open and their eyes bulging in complete, undeniable shock.
The moment the women on the couch finally ceased their shrieking, I addressed the stunned room once more. I slowly and smoothly lowered the heavy piece of furniture back to the floor, ensuring the legs touched down without a single jar.
"Now, I will tell you the truth once again," I repeated, my voice ringing clearly over the lingering gasps. "I, Rick Lee—now officially Rick Lee-Tang—am the one and only Yellow Emperor. Your father is now announcing to the entire world that I have finally returned."
A brief beat of absolute silence hung over the space as the realization clicked in their little minds.
Suddenly, the dam broke, and I was instantly buried under a raging sea of my own children. They swarmed me from all sides, screaming with a manic level of excitement that made it feel like they had just successfully captured Bigfoot to keep as a neighborhood pet, damnit!
