Chapter 236: Greg & Sam, Turn Green!
Chapter 236: Greg & Sam, Turn Green!
Two days after the terrifying tremors of the terrorist attack reverberated through the Japan Empire, I remained inside the quiet confines of my room, helping Ning pack our bags. Ning Tang neatly folded a stack of her silk garments, passing them over to me with a delicate touch while a shadow of anxiety crossed her face.
"Rick, with your Father as the Shadow and your Grandfather serving the Emperor, will you face blow-back from marrying me? If I—" Ning'er's voice trailed off, her fingers trembling slightly as she clutched an unfolded shirt tightly against her chest, waiting for my reaction.
I leaned over and pressed a warm kiss against her lips, instantly cutting off her spiraling worries before pulling back to give her a reassuring smile. "Nope, no problem other than they will scrutinize your background more. I have been given a blanket pardon, and it covers any connection to the China Empire. So there is nothing legally the Li can do to me with regards to marrying you. Well, unless you were the actual Princess of China, then I would be in trouble, ha-ha." I gently took the crumpled shirt from her hands to smooth it out before setting it inside the suitcase.
Over the last few days, Ning'er had made every possible effort to stay glued right at my side, constantly trying her absolute best to be a good, dutiful wife. She wrapped her slender arms tightly around my waist, her eyes dancing with sudden mischief as she pressed her cheek against my back.
"Husband, if I was actually the Empress of China, would you still have married me?" Her grip tightened around my midsection as she giggled softly at her own hypothetical scenario.
I spun around inside her embrace to pull the funny girl flush against my chest, locking her securely in my arms and relishing the soft scent of her hair.
"Yeah, even if you are the Empress of the world, I would marry you again. You have grown on me. And, I like making you mad at me." I looked down at her upturned face while gently brushing a stray lock of black hair away from her forehead.
Ning pouted, her small hands resting against my collarbone as she gave an exasperated huff, intentionally shifting her weight away from me. "Rick, you cannot bully the Empress you know, you must be caring and delicate, not a beast like you do to me." A small, helpless smile tugged at the corner of her lips despite her mock lecture.
I chuckled softly and reached out, gently poking the tip of her pretty nose while she squirmed under my gaze. "Did you bump your pretty head? You are the one to keep telling me to keep going?!" I caught her by the waist as she tried to step backward out of my reach.
A deep, crimson blush instantly flooded her cheeks, and she quickly snapped her head away to avoid my teasing eyes, knowing damn well she was completely guilty. "That is your imagination, I would not say vulgar things like I want more. You cannot prove it." She blushed while turning her head away, knowing damn well she was guilty.
I smoothed my hands down her back, holding her resting form close before sliding a curious question into the quiet space between us. "For the next couple of years, what do you plan on doing while you live with me in Eurasia?" I rested my chin softly against the top of her head.
Ning slowly drew small, rhythmic circles on my chest with the tip of her fingernail, tilting her head back in deep thought as her eyes drifted toward the ceiling. "I will focus on becoming a mother, for our children, and spend time with the wives, building a relationship with them. And, I want to fall in love with you, deeply. Can you try to do that, Rick?" Her fingernail stopped its motion over my heart as her gaze locked back onto mine.
A sharp pang of heavy guilt struck my chest at her words, knowing I couldn't yet bring myself to explain the reality of my newly diminished fertility rate. I pushed the discomfort down, hugging her tightly against me and running a hand comfortingly down her spine.
"As many babies as you want, Ning'er. I will try really hard. Also, I will do my very best to capture your heart, so you miss me when I am not around, okay?" I breathed the words directly into her ear, squeezing her shoulder gently to ground her against me.
Her deep blue eyes gleamed with absolute joy, reflecting the exact reassurance she had been desperately searching for as she pulled back just enough to look me in the face. "You promised me, and you always keep your promises, right? Even if I want four children?" Her eyes gleamed hearing what she wanted, demanding absolute confirmation.
I let out a soft laugh, completely unaware of the trap I was stepping into as I readily nodded my head. "As long as I can do it, I will." Stupid me agreed, sealing the foolish oath with a firm nod.
A slow, triumphant smirk spread across her face, making her look exactly like a cat thoroughly toying with a caught mouse as she patted my chest patronizingly. "Then, this Empress is happy." She stepped backward with a victorious sway of her hips to return to the packing.
Looking back, this one promise really bit me in the ass.
Pam, Sam, his maid-wife, and Ling Ling had already packed their belongings and headed back to the ship long before Ning'er and I finally arrived at the busy docks where the Victoria was moored.
Due to the chaotic aftermath of the Tokyo Tower incident, every single passport check and security inspection at the harbor had turned into a massive, heavily detailed investigation. Armed guards and customs officers scoured the crowds, searching meticulously for any signs of the dangerous terrorist who remained entirely at large.
Because of our sudden international marriage, the waiting process dragged out even longer, forcing me to stand by the iron railings while the port authorities subjected Ning's documents to a grueling, thorough background check.
While I was waiting for Ning'er to finish up, the smartphone in my pocket began to buzz violently. I slid the device out and pressed it to my ear, leaning my weight against the heavy iron railing of the pier while shielding the microphone from the stiff sea breeze. "Hello Jill, is everything fine back in Star city?" I watched the dark ocean waves crash heavily against the hull of the ship.
Jill Feng's smooth, sultry voice crackled through the speaker, her signature playful tone instantly making me picture the smirk on her lips. [Hmm? That depends on if you miss me or not, well?]
I felt a soft smile tugging at the corners of my mouth as her teasing words washed over me, prompting me to shift my footing on the concrete pier. "I miss you, now let me make sure you are well, so let me know already?" I kept my eyes on the customs exit, waiting for any sign of movement.
Jill let out a soft, satisfied hum on the other end of the line, the rustle of corporate paperwork fading into a much more serious tone. [Two pieces of news might interest you my lover. The most pressing... I kicked out Greg and the Lee. I had filed for divorce with Greg, and it was finalized, leaving my child with me.]
I adjusted my grip on the warm phone, my eyebrows shooting up as I processed the absolute finality in her voice. [He will also lose his Feng last name and be forced to use his worthless Song name again, making him a commoner. Hope disowned him. The only thing he has is a fashion business in shambles.]
I took a slow breath, my mind immediately spinning with the massive social ramifications of her sudden announcement as I tapped my fingers rhythmically against the metal rail. "So, will I now tell everyone about our child?" I kept my voice low so as not to attract the attention of the passing port guards.
Jill let out a melodic, mocking laugh that echoed sharply over the digital connection, clearly amused by my eagerness. [Well, your blanket pardon makes our affair not an issue, so we will, but let's wait a bit since you just recently married, Ufufu. I don't want to shock the harem too much too soon.]
I listened closely to her changing cadence, sensing the deep maternal pride beaming through her voice as she continued to deliver her updates.
[Also, the baby will be a girl. So you will have to spoil our daughter in the future.]
A genuine wave of warmth washed over me, and I softened my voice, letting her know exactly how much her fierce dedication meant to me. "Jill, thanks for loving me. After I get back, I will make time to come over and spend the night with you." I stared down at my own reflection in the dark harbor water, missing her presence.
Jill gave a sharp, definitive hum over the line, her tone turning deeply affectionate yet fiercely possessive as she laid down her terms.
[Good, I have not had you in a while, so hurry home. Then I will keep calling you every day till you get back.]
I scooped up a stray piece of luggage to pass the time, fully aware of the trap she was setting for my return voyage.
[I will leave a message since I know you will be busy with a boat full of lovers. You will have nowhere to run on the ship. Talk to you later dear. Click... do do do...]
I just smile at the phone, sliding the device back into my pocket while feeling a deep sense of relief that Jill finally secured the exact ending she had always wanted. "A girl, oh? Looks like I will have another wave of babies this year. Well, I did survive it three years ago, so I look forward to more." I looked out across the active harbor, the weight of the future sinking in.
Ning suddenly stepped out from the glass customs booth, clutching her official travel documents tightly against her chest as she walked over to stand directly in front of me.
"I am done husband, we can board the ship, but..." Ning hesitated, her voice dropping to a whisper as she stood directly in front of me.
I stood up straight from the railing, immediately noticing the severe lack of color in her face and the faint trembling of her hands. I reached out to touch her face, but she quickly blushed, swatting my hand away before looking down at the wooden planks of the dock.
"Rick, I had thrown up in the office. I think I might be pregnant from our first night. My period should have started today, and it is also late, so maybe..." She stopped my hand, her cheeks flushing completely red.
My brain stalled entirely at her words, the world around us fading into background noise as I stared at her in absolute disbelief.
I completely lost track of time, completely frozen in place until I finally noticed Ning'er waving her small hand frantically right in front of my eyes.
"Are you back with me dear? You spaced-out. I thought after all of your children, this news would not shock you, so why now? Are you unhappy about it?" Her hand waved directly in my face to break my sudden trance.
With a 1⁄1,000 chance how lucky am I to nail it on the first time?! My mind spun as I realized that, Ling'er was completely and utterly wrong about my fertility rate.
"No, I was just surprised I got you pregnant so soon. I thought we would have more time together." I caught her by the hand to ease her sudden doubts.
Ning'er blushed a fierce scarlet, stepping forward to bury her burning face against my shoulder while her hands gripped my shirt. "No, I need you to make love plenty, it should help me when it is time to have the baby, you know..." She kept her head tucked close against my neck, her warm breath soaking through my jacket.
A wicked grin spread across my face, the heavy shock melting away into pure amusement as I leaned down to tease her. "But you said it was only for the baby." I grinned in a good mood, nudging her side to provoke a response.
She snapped her head up, her deep blue eyes wide with frantic embarrassment as she tried to defend herself, shifting her weight away. "N-No, I clearly told you it would be more if I liked it." She turned her burning face away from my close gaze.
I leaned in closer, my bright blue eyes locking onto her flushed face with an undeniable smirk. "Sooo, You did like it then?!" I stepped into her personal space to enjoy her intense fluster.
Ning gave my chest a harsh push, snatching up her luggage with a furious huff and stomping off toward the ship's gangplank to hide her intense shame from being ashamed. She was undoubtedly remembering every single one of the embarrassing, wild positions I had forced her body into during our private nights.
I quickly followed behind my fleeing wife, a completely silly expression plastered across my face as I watched her march away.
"I need to have a little talk with Ling Ling..." My expression turned entirely playful as I followed her up the ramp.
James and his various wives all managed to make it back to the docks without experiencing any major issues from the port authorities. However, the heavy atmosphere surrounding her family had been incredibly cold toward him during their departure, a detail that didn't bother him in the slightest. He didn't care about their icy attitudes at all, seeing no reason to waste his energy when Akeno belonged entirely to him now anyway.
The moment my boots hit the polished wooden deck of the Victoria, officially signaling that I was off Japanese soil, a wide smile spread across my face at the sight of the women waiting for me. Lan, Mei, Hinata, and Mercy were all standing near the main railing, their anxious expressions instantly melting away the second our eyes met.
Lan Chow took one quick look at Ning, giving her a brief, formal nod of acknowledgment before completely throwing her body into my arms with zero hesitation. She wrapped her arms tightly around my neck, looking up into my eyes with a deeply coquettish expression that made my chest tighten. "Rick, all of the harem played fierce casino games to determine the week's sleep schedule, and you are with me tonight. Also Rick and Ning, come to the daycare, to meet all the children." She kissed my jaw before pointing a finger toward the lower decks.
Ning stepped up beside us, her posture straightening as she looked directly at Lan with a confident, knowing smile while resting her hand gently over her own stomach. "I would love to play with all of Rick's children. Since I will be adding to the group, fufu." Ning said to Lan, a soft giggle escaping her lips as she matched her gaze.
After spending several long minutes kissing and hugging the four deeply worried women, they finally began to lead me deeper into the massive ship to reunite with the rest of the harem. I followed them through the winding corridors, quietly celebrating the fact that my modified body only required two hours of sleep a day now...
A full week later, the bright morning sun began to stream through the cabin windows, finding me waking up with my gorgeous MILF, Gretta, curled up tightly in my arms. I looked down at her peaceful face, remembering the wild, passionate details of our night together and letting out a quiet, satisfied smile.
Then, the crushing weight of reality hit me, and I suddenly remembered exactly how incredibly fucked I was.
I slid my hand down and began to gently rub her soft belly, my mind instantly listing every single woman who had missed a period or confirmed a pregnancy since my university graduation up to this very moment at the end of August.
Ning Tang, Jill Feng, Ling Ling, Mei Xia, Gretta Yang, Kate Tang, and Mary Lee were all expecting. While seven more children really wasn't a massive number for a harem of my substantial size, a couple of these specific babies were entirely unexpected surprises.
While I cheered myself up over the expanding group, Gretta's brilliant gold eyes slowly fluttered open, a warm smile instantly gracing her lips the moment she looked up at me. She shifted her weight, throwing her smooth leg over my hip to rest her body more comfortably against mine before leaning up to press a soft kiss to my jaw.
"Rayna and Tessa are looking forward to having a sibling, Rick. But I am even more happy. Falling for you was the right call, Ufufu. Is it me or are you becoming more handsome? Hmm, I think love is affecting my vision." Gretta Yang smiled as she shifted her leg over me, her golden eyes locking onto mine with deep affection.
I teased, "Good, ha-ha. Well, I guess it is because my number one business woman makes me feel better about everything when I am with you, so that is my secret." I leaned down to press a lingering kiss against her lips before reluctantly sliding out from under the warm covers. "Sadly, the ship will be coming into port soon, so we need to shower and get out of bed."
And with that, our group all prepared for the ship to dock in Star City...
After the ship arrived, Luke Fu came with a massive group of highly skilled Fire Birds to assure everyone made it safely to their destinations.
With the Lee lurking, we are taking no chances. We even have special precautions, including a newly synthesized cure, for the special Lee poison they have used in the past, and all of my family has been informed of such nefarious means.
Luke was not the only group to greet us, the Police had come to pick up a certain casting couch villain. Sam was flatfoot when he was being arrested, his arms pinned behind his back as the metal cuffs clicked tightly into place.
I was speechless when I saw poor Pam, the maid, and Ling sobbing at Sam being carted away.
Wow, you would totally believe Ling Ling was torn up seeing her fake tears. If she had not winked at me over her trembling hands, I would have even thought she was tore up. Pam was beside herself as the family followed Sam to the jail, to try and clear his name... Nope I saw the evidence, he is fucked.
Just before I got in the limousine to go home, I received a call from Lucy. I stepped away from the roaring engines of the docks, holding the phone tightly to my ear. "Lucy, I see you're not at the mansion but at Velvet Tower what is up?" I watched the localized GPS tag blinking on my phone screen.
[Meet me at the tower, Rick, I have something I need to show you, and I cannot say it, even if we think the line is secure. Can you meet me in the apartment?] Lucy's voice sounded incredibly strained over the speaker, her breathing shallow.
"This sounds serious. Alright I will get one of Luke's subordinate cars and come now." I immediately signaled one of the nearby Fire Birds to pull a sedan out of the convoy line.
After hanging up, I told the wives to go without me, and I headed to the Velvet Tower to find out the emergency...
Around 40 minutes later, I arrived and entered the elevator. Benz, who had not seen me for a month, said to me, "Good to see you boss, where too?" He reached out his hand toward the control panel with a wide, welcoming smile. "Thanks Benz, to the 40th floor, please." I nodded appreciatively as the heavy lift doors glided shut and the mechanism jolted upward.
Unlocking the door, I entered and locked it behind me. Then I entered the living room and saw Lucy sitting on the couch in a pair of sweats in the color white. Her glasses were off, and her hair was in a ponytail. When I saw her eyes, I could tell she was in a mental crisis.
Lucy jumped up and ran into my arms hugging me super-tight, smelling me, like she forgot my scent. I hug her back and rub her body to calm her agitation. I then picked her up in my arms and carried her to the couch, putting her in my lap. She could not stop kissing me during this process, her lips desperate and hot against my skin.
After around five minutes, she calmed down and I held her, then I asked. "Now other than not seeing me for a month, what makes you so emotional, what is wrong my dear?" I gently stroked her hair down into her ponytail to ground her.
"Here, just look, I still cannot believe it..." Lucy reached for a thick manila folder resting on the coffee table, her hands trembling violently as she held out the papers.
She handed me a medical file marked Lucy Shen, so with my Medicine Advanced I can fully understand this thick document...
Even after I stopped reading everything, I could not explain what I saw, and now I understand why the emotional woman in my arms is agitated so much. But my Medicine Skill has some ancient knowledge that might hint to what happened... I think my Chi repaired some of her damage... This is the only reasonable reason for this.
Then Lucy asked me with a timid voice. "I-I don't want to, but if you say so, I will end it..." A fresh wave of panic flashed across her pale features as her fingernails dug anxiously into the fabric of my shirt.
"What?! Don't ever say something so stupid. I am just shocked, of course I want it." I barked softly, cupping her face in both of my hands to force her to meet my gaze.
"My womb was damaged inside, so it being healed shocked me, and even the Doctor was surprised, but he said it has happened in the past, with the right diet and time. Maybe it is because you are the Yellow Emperor? But... Now I am carrying your son. I was so scared you would hate me for it." She leaned her weight heavily against my chest as her breath shuddered.
I wiped the tears flowing from her eyes and smiled. "Stupid, I love you. This is a happy day for us. Now you can be a mother. I love you and I always will." I wrapped my arms securely around her waist before kissing her forehead gently.
Then I princes carried Lucy into the bedroom, and gently loved my devoted Yandere...
Seems, I will have to reward Ling'er for giving me miracle after miracle. So I will spank her good...
