Chapter 206: Ex-General Kris Lee, Makes Eurasia Tremble!
Chapter 206: Ex-General Kris Lee, Makes Eurasia Tremble!
After the first move played by Greg, a heavy, gloomy mood settles over me. I look down at Lucy, my chest tightening as the pieces of the puzzle begin to shift.
"Dear, I am going to leave and deal with this in person," I say, gently placing a hand on her shoulder to reassure her. "I need to get to Linda and head to the Downtown Precinct, so keep me informed of any changes."
Lucy wraps her arms around me, pulling me into one last tight embrace before she walks me out to the parking garage. I immediately call Hinata, and the two of us climb into my SUV to head out into the city.
Almost fifteen minutes later, I pull the heavy vehicle into a gated community that mirrors the layout of my own Garden Estates. This exclusive neighborhood sits right in the northwest section of Downtown, directly opposite Star University.
It is known across the city as Black Manor, an elite enclave that holds only four massive luxury mansions. The entire area is owned by the Lang clan, though Brenda Sho keeps a private home here as well.
Linda and I share a residence inside the gates, while the final two estates belong to the other branch family heads. Because Brenda lives on the grounds, the security is incredibly tight, patrolled constantly by her elite Black Snakes members.
Fortunately, Brenda made the rules very clear to her subordinates after our last meeting. She explained that while they could have beef with most Fire Birds, anyone directly connected to me is strictly off-limits, or their lives are forfeit. Brenda is sly and crafty, always knowing exactly where the line is drawn so she never accidentally touches my reverse scale. That shared understanding is the only reason we do not get involved when our low-level members fight out in the streets. She knows I will never bring the full weight of my forces down on her, provided my immediate family remains unmolested. I park the SUV, and Hinata steps out with me onto the driveway of the brown and black three-story home.
Linda learned from her old house on Lot 9 that a massive space feels cold and lifeless. She flatly refused to let our daughter grow up in that kind of environment, so she designed this home to be just right for the three of us and the maid.
I slide my keys into the lock, opening up another of my many homes across the city before calling out to announce my arrival. "Linda dear, I am here," I call out into the quiet foyer.
The rapid patter of small feet echoes loudly down the hallway, the polished wood flooring vibrating as my daughter comes charging around the corner. Lucy is running at a dangerous speed for a three-year-old, her face lit up with pure joy.
I instantly drop to one knee and hold out my arms to catch the screaming girl safely against my chest. "Daaaaaaaddy~! Ha-ha!" she squeals, burying her face into my neck.
Despite calling my daughter our 'Little Turtle', her personality is completely the opposite. She is incredibly active, expressive, and emotional compared to her mother, though she still carries Linda's natural grace when she calms down.
I hug her tight against me just as Linda walks down the hall, a soft, loving look warming her usually stoic eyes. "I love you and miss you, my Little Turtle," I chuckle, lifting her up.
Holding the smiling little girl securely in my left arm, I lean forward to wrap my free arm around Linda for a deep kiss. She nods softly against my cheek as we break apart. "I am fine, Rick," Linda says, her voice smooth and composed. "Come inside, and you too, Miss Kyusho. You are family as well, so please have a seat with us."
Hinata bows politely, offering a respectful smile. "Mrs. Lang, this time I will just freshen up a bit to let you three talk while I wait for Sensei, so let's do next time."
Both women are merely putting on a display of noble etiquette, causing a small smirk to rise in my heart. Linda clearly wants private family time right now, but her upbringing demands she act like a perfect hostess.
A few minutes later, Lucy is sitting happily on the living room floor, coloring a family picture on the low coffee table. I sit on the couch with my arm wrapped securely around Linda, listening closely as she tells me about her week.
I finish explaining the current situation, detailing the specific threats we are watching for and the increased security surrounding the family. I even assure her that Hana will have a full-time combat Master following her at the hospital.
"Rick, I understand and will do exactly as you say," Linda replies, leaning her head against my shoulder. "Also, I have an upcoming fashion show in White State before you leave for your Tokyo trip. Will you accompany me? We can invite sister Helen to come along too, since that is your Tang territory."
I narrow my eyes slightly, a sharp thought crossing my mind. "Is Greg's Song Fashion company involved in this event, and is that why you want us there?"
Linda nods silently, confirming my suspicion. "Sure, count me in," I tell her, tightening my grip on her waist. "Just send me the details."
As I bend down to hug my daughter goodbye, a dark suspicion takes root in my mind. The only reason they would host a fashion show in White State is to secretly utilize the mystical services of the Forest Temple. I will definitely bring my top fighters along for the trip. It seems like we will need to cut down some trees in that forest very soon.
Linda walks Hinata and me back out to my Durango, her hand resting gently in mine. I turn to her before opening the door, offering a reassuring smile. "I might have to call you later to state the official reason for the traffic issue, just in case," I say.
After one final, lingering hug, I pull out of the driveway and leave the gated community behind.
In around ten minutes, the heavy frame of the Durango rolls to a stop outside the precinct. Hinata glances at the building before turning to me.
"Sensei, I will stay in the car with our swords so we don't cause an unnecessary issue," she says quietly. "Just call me if you need me. Plus, Nadia is waiting in there and she will want some time with you, so go ahead."
"Sure thing," I reply, checking the mirrors. "Keep a close eye out for any suspicious activity when we come out. See you in a while."
The moment I walk through the front doors of the station, Nadia steps forward from the lobby to greet me. She immediately takes my arm, her sharp red business suit perfectly tailored to her shifting movements.
Today she matches the suit with sheer black stockings, her dark hair pulled back into a high ponytail that makes her look like a wealthy, villainous businesswoman. She is clearly pissed off, her jaw set tight as she guides me past the front desk.
"The station is demanding a full twenty-four-hour holding time for Luke," Nadia tells me, her voice cutting through the ambient office noise. "I threatened to press immediate charges against the precinct, but the officers seemed completely unconcerned. The Sergeant in charge is Charles Song, so their angle is completely obvious."
Nadia stops walking when she notices the calm smile spreading across my face instead of the anger she expected. She arches an eyebrow. "Did I miss something?" she asks.
"Bring me directly to Charles Song," I reply, my voice dripping with dark amusement. "Let's see what he has to say when I ask him nicely."
Curious to see what my game is, Nadia takes my hand and leads me through the secure doors into the back office pool. The working officers stop what they are doing, their eyes tracking us as we walk straight toward Song's private office.
Nadia steps up to the door and knocks three times in rapid succession. A sharp, muffled voice answers from the other side.
[Come in.]
We push the door open and step into the office. The man sitting behind the cluttered desk looks up, his eyes instantly locking onto my face.
He clearly knows exactly who I am, but his expression remains entirely unimpressed as he leans back in his leather chair. "Mr. Tang, even if you are the Syndicate Leader, we have the legal right to hold anyone arrested for twenty-four hours while we investigate," he states coldly. "So please just come back tomorrow to take your State Manager away. We have all the evidence and multiple witnesses who saw the beating of an innocent man."
I smile at him, offering absolutely no verbal reply as I reach into my pocket and pull out my smartphone. I dial a direct number and hit the speakerphone button, placing the device right on his desk.
The line rings three times before a deep, smokey voice cuts through the speaker.
[Rick! This is very rare for you to call me directly. What is wrong? Alex is not in trouble, is he?]
"Hello, Hope. First, calm down," I say, my tone perfectly casual. "Alex is completely fine, and I have you on speakerphone right now. I am currently standing in the office of Charles Song, the man in charge of the Downtown Precinct. He is taking direct orders from Greg Song, who now goes by the name Greg Feng. I assume you know both men from your Song clan, correct?"
A heavy silence blankets the line for a fraction of a second before Hope responds, her tone dropping into pure ice. [Yes, both of those men are cousins from the exact same branch family. Why? What are they pulling?]
"Greg targeted my wife Linda for harassment, and I am very upset," I reply, watching Charles's face carefully. "And this Charles is taking orders from Greg, keeping my right-hand man Luke locked in a cell, so..."
[Do you want me to remove their stupid family from my Song Clan?] Hope interrupts, her voice rising in anger. [No problem at all. If they are daring to target your wives, then they will eventually target Alex as well. Let me look into them immediately. I will remove the entire branch from the clan if need be.]
Charles's jaw drops as the reality of the phone call strikes him like a physical blow. He realizes I have the supreme Head of the Song Family on the line, and that their entire lineage is about to be stripped down to commoner status at my simple request. The color completely drains from his face, leaving him entirely white.
He instantly leans over his desk, raising his voice desperately so the phone will pick up his panic. "Ah! Head Hope, it is a complete misunderstanding!" he screams. "The Lee family demanded I do this! I had absolutely no choice?!"
[So what?] Hope fires back through the speaker, her voice dripping with pure disdain. [Is my last name Lee? No, my last name is Song. Also, Rick Tang has another last name you should remember, and it is Lee. So I will throw that right back to you. I am only listening to a real Lee.]
The speaker crackles slightly as Hope takes a breath, her anger boiling over. [Rick, hearing this sniveling worm makes me sick. I am going to remove them all from the clan registries right now, and I am already sending our forces out. Can I ask your Fire Birds to help me ransack their homes?]
"No problem at all," I answer smoothly. "We actually need to gather some more African forces anyway. The Central Lee has entrusted the Syndicates to gather men and women to defend the Africa base. And don't worry about my man Luke in jail. I was just told he will be out tomorrow, so there is no need to make this honest police officer bend to our wills. Thanks, Hope, I really appreciate this. Just remember to include Greg in that removal. I will let Helen know you suffered a loss today so she can assist the remaining Song family members here in Star City."
[Rick, this is the absolute least I could do for you,] Hope replies, her tone softening with genuine gratitude. [You have never let me pay you back for your help in the past, so this little thing makes me happy. Bye.]
The line clicks softly, followed by a repetitive dial tone. [do do do...]
Charles looks like his soul completely left his body. He just stood there, realizing he lost his entire branch family's nobility in a single phone call. The idiot was reduced to a mere commoner just for doing a crooked job. He simply was not smart enough to realize who he was going against.
I turn my back on him and look over at Nadia, a relaxed smile returning to my face. "Sorry, my wife, but can you go tell Luke to get comfortable for the night?" I ask, patting her hip. "I will let Cat and his other wife know he is staying here until tomorrow."
As the two of us step out of the lifeless chump's office, Nadia bursts into a fit of rich, melodious laughter. Her loud, echoing chuckles instantly draw the attention of every single officer working in the bullpen.
"Ufufu! Ricky, that was absolutely amazing!" Nadia beams, her fingers locking tightly with mine. "Now that asshole completely lost his family backing, and you kicked Greg straight in the balls too! Ha-ha!"
While Nadia heads back toward the holding cells to deliver the update to Luke, the rumors spread like wildfire through the desks. Word travels in seconds about how Sergeant Charles Song is being kicked out of the main Song Clan registries. Everyone in the underworld knows the reality of the situation. Who exactly do the members of the Song Clan serve? Duh, they serve the Tang!
He messed directly with the Tang Head's husband's man, making this brutal downfall entirely inevitable. Now, every single street criminal and low-life that Charles ever threatened using his Song identity will want to take absolute revenge on him. He has no backing left to protect himself. Truly good times ahead.
With Greg being completely removed from the clan for sabotaging the Song, his leverage is utterly destroyed. He can no longer use his now-evicted branch family to pressure the other Song family members in the city. He only has his Feng name left to lean on. For now, anyway.
Who could have known that Hope Song would one day do me such a massive solid?
I lean against the wall near the precinct entrance, waiting patiently until Nadia comes walking back out with a massive grin plastered on her face. "Ufufu! When I told Luke what you did, he could not stop laughing," she tells me, wrapping her arms around my neck. "He told me to tell you he is perfectly comfortable and is just going to take a nice nap. He said we should just count it as a regular sick day for him."
"Good to hear," I chuckle, kissing her forehead. "Now let us go straight home, Ricky," she purrs, leaning her weight against my chest. "I will let my personal assistant drive my car back to the corporate office. I am going to ride with you, my lover."
With that settled, we leave poor Luke to his legal fate for the night, completely unbothered.
Later that evening, the police scanners confirm the final outcome of the drama. Tonight, the disgraced Sergeant from the Downtown Precinct killed himself with his own service handgun right inside his office. The pressure was too much after getting the official news of his entire family being kicked to the curb with absolutely nothing left to their names. Well, his messy end will definitely serve as a warning, telling others to think twice before listening to the orders of the Lee family traditionalists.
Just after we finish dinner, a sharp notification pings across our synchronized Harem-Chat network. It contains a secure, live-streaming link to a worldwide news broadcast that the Central Government is actively trying to ban on open channels.
Apparently, a massive global press conference is streaming live across the world wide web, and every single nation on the planet is tuning in. The immense hype is due to the identity of the speaker. It is none other than the former SDF General Lee. Unknown to the public until this very moment, he has officially defected to the side of the China Emperor himself.
Hana stares at the glowing screen with a deep, frustrated frown as the broadcast buffer begins to clear. "Why would Central try to ban it from the local news channels when the whole world already knows?" she asks, crossing her arms tightly. "We are just watching it smoothly on the internet anyway. I believe this move only makes the Central Government look completely incompetent, right?"
I look over at her, offering a dark chuckle as I lean back against the cushions. "Actually, they planned on using their elite network hackers to stop the internet release by cutting off the feed entirely," I explain. "But sadly for them, those hackers are currently watching BDSM hard gay porn in tears, ha-ha! They couldn't cut the feed right now if they wanted to."
Hana blinks, completely stunned by the explanation. "This is because they downloaded Valentine years ago," I add, winking at her. "And Valentine has let them have something far more interesting to watch tonight. Oh, look, the screen is changing. Pass the popcorn!"
The broadcast switches to a live feed coming directly from the heart of the China Empire.
The camera opens inside an ancient, heavily gold-encrusted imperial palace hall, where three distinct men stand before the lens.
In the far background sits a man wearing a striking, solid Gold Mask. His regal outfit is covered in incredibly lush, heavy golden embroidery.
The Emperor's mask reveals absolutely nothing of his face, showing only thick, flowing black hair and piercing dark blue eyes. Even his hands are fully gloved, leaving his entire identity a complete mystery to the world.
He makes absolutely no physical movement, nor does he need to. The Emperor's mere presence radiating through the screen is powerful enough to make everyone in the massive imperial hall kneel in deep prostration.
Everyone bows down, except for the two other men standing proudly in the room.
The man standing closest to General Lee is covered from head to toe in a heavy black robe. He wears a fierce golden dragon mask that perfectly mirrors the design of a demonic Japanese oni mask. He is obviously a powerfully built warrior. Noticing his specific stance, my eyes narrow as I realize the man possesses the unmistakable traits of a Grandmaster in Kung-Fu, much like Grandfather. He must be someone incredibly important within the imperial hierarchy.
Beside him, General Kris Lee stands exceptionally proud with his hands crossed tightly behind his back. His sharp eyes stare directly into the camera lens with a natural aura of absolute awe. For some strange, inexplicable reason, I feel an eerie sensation that he is looking through the screen only at me.
He clears his throat, beginning his historic speech to the watching world.
[Hello, world. I am the former SDF Commander, Lee. You may or may not know that exactly one week ago, I was forced to flee my homeland to avoid being assassinated by my own clan.]
His voice booms through the speakers, steady and filled with unfiltered conviction.
[I also had my loving wife, my son, and my young daughter all brutally murdered by the specific Lee clan faction responsible for foreign affairs. These spineless dogs go under the family name of the Traditionalists.]
The General takes a step forward, his shadow stretching across the golden floor.
[This group of Lee is entirely different from the domestic Lee who run the Central Government. But the political Lee did absolutely nothing to stop the other faction from persecuting and assassinating my family for nothing more than personal greed and glory.]
He pauses, letting the weight of his words sink into the global audience.
[Why is a supposed traitor reaching out to you tonight? And why should any of you listen to me? Because in less than two years, the Traditionalist Lee plans to plunge the entire world into a devastating Second World War against the China Empire to end it forever.]
The girls gasp around me, their eyes glued to the screen.
[They wish to use America as a completely disposable war tool, while forcing the remaining nations of Japan and South America to become their low-level subordinates. What is their absurd reason for starting this global war?]
He lets out a cold, mocking laugh that echoes through the palace hall.
[They foolishly believe that the sixteen-year-old Adam Lee is the China Empire's next Yellow Emperor reincarnated! Yes, your Eurasia history archives have scrubbed this factual past from the world, but if you look online right now, you will find every single detail.]
The General gestures toward the screen as data streams appear on the margins of the broadcast.
[We have successfully spread the true history and facts of this mythical being across the entire internet. Read it carefully before your corrupt government tries to erase it from the servers again. Why am I warning you all? Because their reason for starting a war is completely faulty. Standing next to me tonight is the true Yellow Emperor...]
My eyes fly wide open, and the breath catches completely in my throat at what we are witnessing. Across the room, Mary gasps loudly, her face turning entirely pale. Out of everyone in the house, the two of us are affected the most by the image on the screen.
The robed man slowly reaches up, removing his fierce golden dragon mask to reveal a face that looks exactly like an older, more weathered version of me.
It is none other than my supposedly dead father. The resurrected Yellow Emperor, Rick Lee, stands tall and commanding before the global camera feed.
[This is my son, whom Central actively tried to kill for being the real Yellow Emperor,] General Lee continues, gesturing to the man. [They fabricated a massive lie, stating that the Head Lee's son was the next reincarnation so they could legally invade all other nations of the world, including Antarctica, South and North America, and finally the Japan Empire. They will claim it was all to follow the destiny of his son, Adam Lee!]
The General's eyes flash with a dangerous, righteous anger.
[Because I discovered their secret plans, they tried killing this true Yellow Emperor, who you can clearly see cannot die due to his absolute immortality. Now, ask yourselves, can you really trust that Traditionalist Lee Clan? No. They will only use their power to suppress the citizens of Eurasia. Yellow Emperor, would you like to say anything to the world?]
My father steps up to the primary microphone, his posture rigid and filled with an ancient, terrifying authority.
[The true name of the Lee Clan is actually the Li Clan, who successfully escaped punishment two thousand years ago for their horrific war crimes,] Rick Lee declares, his deep voice vibrating through the audio feed. [But hear me well, we will not allow them to start World War Two! So to all the nations of the world, watch closely how the Li clan treats its own family, friends, and neighbors.]
He looks directly into the lens, his expression turning into one of absolute, uncompromising dominance.
[We of the China Empire refuse to ever bow down to the tyranny of the Li Clan! I deliver this explicit message to the world... If the Li clan attempts to retaliate against my remaining family currently living in Eurasia, I will instantly drop two hundred of the following weapons on the entire Eurasia continent.]
A chilling smile touches his lips as the background screen shifts to a countdown timer.
[Please witness the very first official test fire of the newest weapon developed by the China Empire. It is called a Nuclear Warhead...]
I stare at the monitor, my entire body locking up in absolute horror as the rest of the world watches the screen transition to a live camera feed of a barren testing field.
My past life's most vicious, destructive weapon is being deployed for the very first time in the history of Pangaea. It feels exactly like watching the historic footage of the first atomic bomb drop on my past Earth. My heart clenches violently inside my chest, the sheer terror of what this means shaking me deeper than anyone else in the room.
The screen transitions to a high-altitude tactical camera feed, showing a massive intercontinental missile roaring skyward from the deck of a hidden China Empire warship. The projectile tears through the upper atmosphere, charting a direct, unblockable path toward the southeast region of Africa. That specific destination is the exact zone where the Eurasian Government has been aggressively building up its massive forward army and base.
The missile impacts the center of the military installations, and a blinding, artificial sun fractures the sky. Even from a distance of dozens of miles away, the rising, colossal mushroom cloud makes the entire population of Pangaea hold its collective breath in absolute terror.
Soon, the true Yellow Emperor—my supposedly dead father, who has just unleashed the ultimate earthly evil upon this primitive planet—steps back into the center of the camera frame to speak once more.
[I am a man of unending rage, profound regret, and deep-seated anger for the historic crimes of my Li clan against my wives, my sister, and my mother,] his voice booms, chilling the blood of every world leader tuning in. [So if the only remaining things I love in this world are touched, the entirety of the Eurasia continent will vanish exactly like this forward army and base did today.]
He leans in closer to the microphone, his expression completely devoid of human mercy.
[I will personally transmit the full security data and health risks regarding radiation sickness and poisoning to all your servers,] he adds with a dark, mocking tilt of his head. [This will allow your scientists to safely study the barren, irradiated wasteland I have just created, proving to you all once and for all that I am not bluffing. When Adam turns eighteen and inevitably fails to awaken with my powers, you can truly despair, Li Clan. Consider this your final warning, Eurasia!]
The broadcast cuts to absolute black, leaving the entire room in a suffocating, terrified silence.
