Chapter 160: Remembering My Drunken Night!
Chapter 160: Remembering My Drunken Night!
Tina and I had just finished making love in her hide-a-bed hidden away inside her massive closet. After a quick rinse together in the shower to wash away the sweat, the two of us held each other tightly while dressed in our comfortable pajamas. She leaned her head against my chest, her voice breaking the quiet stillness of the room.
"You and I are going to be married in about two weeks," Tina murmured, looking up at me. "Are you nervous?"
"Of course not, silly woman," I replied, pressing a gentle kiss against the top of her head.
With her signature emotionless expression intact, she looked straight into my eyes and teased me. "No, I meant with us making a baby then," Tina clarified, her arms tightening around my waist. "You seem overwhelmed, even with all the maids running around the mansion."
I leaned down to kiss her warmly, letting the sensation linger for a moment before answering. "Not a chance as well," I denied, tracing a finger down her cheek. "I really am not overwhelmed, I just try and spend as much time with my angels because after university, I will be really busy. The first few years for our children are the most pivotal in making them good humans."
A rare, genuine smile finally made its way onto her lips as she buried her face into my chest, holding my torso as if she would never let go.
"Rick, my mother had told me only family could keep my heart from dying," Tina confided to me, her voice dropping to a soft whisper. "So I am really glad you will give me my child. You and our future baby will be my joy in life, so stay safe for me."
"Yes, my beautiful Blood Demon, your wish is granted," I promised, pulling the covers up over our shoulders. "Now go to sleep, I have to teach Kung-Fu tomorrow night..."
Then, I closed my eyes and slipped off into dreamland, where my subconscious dragged me into a vivid dream of the chaotic events from last week.
March 4th, exactly two days after returning from our trip to Long Island...
My sleek white stretch limousine, driven smoothly by Mei in her shorter maid outfit, had just pulled up to the curb of the University parking lot to pick up my friends for a night of celebration regarding my soon-to-arrive children.
Hinata had absolutely insisted on coming along, carrying my Black Dragon Katana tightly against her side to protect me from any potential danger.
Since I knew I would be drinking heavily, having a sober protector was a must, and I fully agreed to her terms. She looked stunning and imposing in her crimson kimono, which featured detailed black eastern dragons printed across the fabric.
I sat completely alone in the spacious back passenger area for a change, intentionally keeping my two ladies up front in the driver cabin so they wouldn't have to deal with a bunch of drinking men.
Out on the concrete curb, chatting loudly with one another in anticipation, was the whole crew: James, Logan, Tony Deng, Luke, and Benz. Alex was the only one missing, having called ahead to say he would meet us directly at the establishment.
The moment the heavy limo came to a smooth halt, all the men smiled broadly as Mei stepped out into the crisp air to open the door for them. They all offered polite hellos to her as they filed inside the luxury interior one by one. James slid into the back row to sit directly next to me on the back-most seat, while the other men all piled onto the long, comfortable L-shaped bench stretching across the side wall.
I pointed toward the glowing glass shelves of the built-in minibar and announced the ground rules. "Help yourselves, gentlemen," I told them, waving a hand at the rows of alcohol. "It all needs to be drunk, ha-ha!"
Luke, not showing a single shred of shyness, immediately grabbed a crystal tumbler from the rack and just poured a massive splash of Vodka into it, raising it toward me in a heavy toasting gesture.
"Boss, to a fucking night to remember, ha-ha!" Luke shouted.
Watching him down the entire glass in one throat-burning gulp while the other guys started taking turns grabbing their own bottles, I shook my head with a chuckle. "Tonight, I am no one's boss, just Rick," I told them, pouring myself a drink to join in. "We are all friends, so let us just go be stupid guys having a blast. Plus, I have never just been drinking with the boys like this before, so I am excited!"
Logan poured a conservative amount into his cup, leaning back against the leather cushion. "I drank with guys from where I grew up, but nothing like drinking in the big city," Logan admitted, looking around the luxury vehicle. "So I am right there with you."
James, looking like he was out on the prowl for beautiful women more than actually hanging out with the guys, adjusted his collar and grinned at the group. "The Song Club is one of the hottest bars in Star City, and they only let in sexy, hot women," James told us, his eyes flashing with anticipation. "Well, that is the rumor anyway, he-he!"
I grin widely, fully knowing that half of these guys are here to find women, find trouble, or somehow end up with both before the sun comes up.
"Well, boys, everything but bail money is on me tonight," I declared, setting the golden rules for the evening. "So eat, drink, or play as you like. If you meet a working girl you like, just go and sleep with her on my tab."
James, Tony, Benz, and Luke all seemed to be exceptionally keen on that last option, their faces lighting up, while Logan seemed completely uninterested in the concept of hiring working girls. Well, I too would not indulge in that, especially with so many damn lovers waiting for me at home.
After a half hour of cruising through the neon-lit streets, we finally arrived at the bustling front entrance of the Song Bar.
As we stepped out onto the sidewalk, Mei approached me to carefully pin my lucky rabbit accessory onto my lapel, ensuring the internal feed was perfectly synced so she could hear and see what was going on inside in case I needed her intervention.
Hinata stepped up right beside me to escort me inside as my official bodyguard, but she made it clear she would not sit and drink with us at the table, opting instead to stand sentinel to the side for my protection. Her traditional look and the sharp clacking of her wooden geta sandals drew a lot of curious eyes from the crowd, as did the three lethal swords strapped to her body.
Alex, looking sharp in a tailored white suit, waved at us from near the heavily crowded entrance line. I walked up and clapped him on the back.
"Hey, why did you not go in?" I asked him. "I had reserved a private party booth for us."
He shook his head, offering a sheepish smile as he adjusted his jacket. "No, it is fine," Alex told me. "I had just arrived a moment ago and knew you would be here right on time, so here I am."
As soon as the muscular bouncers recognized my face and realized I was Rick Tang, they immediately parted the velvet ropes, letting our group skip the entire line and walk right past the suffering people waiting out in the cold. Jim's earlier rumor was completely right, though; the women waiting in that long line were hot as hell.
After our large group of men and my single female bodyguard entered the warmth of the building, another separate group suddenly showed up at the back of the line, looking at our retreating backs with cold, calculated gazes. An incredibly sexy woman with long white hair and striking blue eyes turned to her nine companions, her voice dripping with ice.
"Chen entered with that Tang man, and he is just socializing?" she noted, her eyes narrowing as she watched Logan walk through the doors. "Logan never had friends. Let's get in line."
Inside the main hall of the Song Club, the ambient lights are kept on the incredibly dim side, and the heavy pop-rock music blasted so loud that you could feel the raw vibration rattling right in your chest. Talking normally was completely impossible, requiring you to raise your voice to a shout, which meant Mei would have to rely entirely on my hidden collar microphone rather than the ambient microphone built into the lapel pin.
There is a massive raised dance stage built directly in the center of the basketball-gym-sized club, packed with moving bodies. Deep booths surrounded the perimeter walls on the north, east, and south sides of the bar, while the entire west side is taken up by a massive bar counter lined with about thirty leather bar stools.
Looking up, there is a second-level balcony entirely full of private VIP booths, allowing high rollers to look straight down on the dancers below and monitor all the action near the main bar.
The main entrance of the building is situated in the southwest corner, and the public restrooms are tucked away in the northwest corner. Over in the northeast corner, a wide flight of stairs leads straight up to the second level, and continues up to the exclusive third floor where the private prostitution rooms are located. The restricted fourth floor contains the personal offices and living space for Hope Song.
Our group was led up the stairs to the second level on the east side, giving us the absolute best view of the entire bar area below. The hostess gave us two large tables situated right side by side because our party had so many members.
James, Logan, Hinata, and I took our spots in the left-side booth table, sliding onto the leather seats.
Meanwhile, Tony, Luke, Benz, and Alex all sat down together at the right-side table, immediately looking over the menus.
Hinata took up her position standing right behind and next to me, her posture perfectly straight as she kept her red eyes squinted in absolute alertness, scanning the crowd below.
Sadly, because this is a strict, Song-owned establishment, we won't find my tasty Long Island Iced Tea on the menu, which is a real damn shame. But the gorgeous pair of cocktail servers assigned to our section warmly took our heavy food and drink orders, flashing beautiful smiles before quickly leaving to fulfill them.
Hope Song may be a massive pain in the ass to deal with under normal circumstances, but the fact that the Song family serves directly under the protection of the Tang family has made me an absolute VIP here. The hostess had already informed us that Hope would personally come out to greet our group later in the evening. My best guess is that she wants an excuse to speak with Alex.
I leaned over the table toward Alex, raising my voice to be heard over the thumping bass line. "Did Victoria Long Inc. start up the contract with you at Floppy-Tech?" I asked him.
Alex raised his voice a bit to compete with the music, nodding his head with a look of genuine relief. "Yes, thanks for that, Rick," Alex let me know. "My company is not doing badly, but the big contracts like that look incredibly good on our corporate reputation. When we lost it before, it had affected me a bit. Oh, and did your parents' visit go well? They are nice parents in my book."
"We hit it off immediately," I answered, lifting my freshly delivered glass. "Well, once they got over my young age, ha-ha, cheers!"
He raised his cup to meet mine, and like magic, all the men at both tables raised their glasses into the air to join the toast. I look over to see Luke animatedly chatting with Benz about some sports competition I don't even follow, his hands waving wildly. Tony Deng is getting along famously with Alex, the two of them being well acquainted through the intense tournament where we had faced each other in the ring, while Logan and James are casually talking about their upcoming University classes.
Suddenly, a group of very sexy women dressed in matching tight miniskirt dresses approaches our two tables. I noticed they all have small silver pins with the official Song Bar logo stamped on them, clearly showing they are professional working girls employed by the venue and not just regular ladies from off the street having fun.
A stunning woman with nice, heavy curves and dark blue hair stepped right up to my side, about to ask if I wanted some physical company for the evening. Before she could even get a single word out of her mouth, Hinata's red eyes snapped open wide, and she locked her gaze onto the woman, speaking calmly in her distinct Japanese accent.
"Mr. Tang has my company tonight, thank you," Hinata stated, her hand resting near her blade. "Try that gentleman there, Mr. Tang's best friend."
At first, the model-looking lady was going to look highly displeased by the sudden intervention, but seeing the weapons and the striking beauty of Hinata, she was instantly taken aback. However, the moment she was pointed directly toward James, she smiled, quickly thinking that a best friend of a Tang VIP was well worth her time.
She slid onto the leather cushion right next to him, leaning in close.
"Hello sir, my name is Jen, and I am very single and available," she said, her voice dropping to a seductive purr. "So if you would like a drinking partner or just some good company tonight, pick me. What is your name, handsome?"
Sure, Jim already has Akeno and Ashley in his life, but if we are talking strictly about pure looks here, this woman is absolutely incredible. She reminds me vividly of some anime lady from a devil boob show—High School DxD, if I remember right—but fuck if I can recall the character's exact name.
Either way, she is easily on the close-to-a-perfect-ten list.
James did not hesitate for even a second, diving right into the opportunity. "Ah?! Me?!" James stammered, his eyes widening. "I am Mon—I meant, call me James! I would very much love your company, Miss Jen!"
Jen, hearing Jim's enthusiastic response, immediately took his left arm and held it tightly against her ample chest, her smile looking thoroughly satisfied with his reaction. I just grin at the display, leaning over the table to give him a nudge.
"You two should go somewhere less noisy and get to know each other, ha-ha," I suggested, gesturing toward the stairs. "Look, even Benz and Tony are going with some girls. Hell, why do they each have two?"
I occasionally forget that working girls will willingly share men, and my Earth memories from my last life are still conflicting with my current values a bit here. Plus, I am already half-drunk from the pre-game ride here, added to the three heavy shots I have already downed since walking through the doors.
Jen looked directly into Jim's face, her eyes locking onto his suggestively. "Mr. James, I don't share," Jen whispered, trailing a finger down his jacket line. "But I have a private room right upstairs here, if you are willing to keep me company. I have not worked here very long, so could I use your guidance tonight?"
"Cough, I think I would love to get to know you better, Miss Jen," James answered, clearing his throat as his face turned bright red. "I am a bit tired of all this loud noise anyway. Rick, be back in, um... don't wait up for me."
Jen, realizing she had just caught a big fish, tightly took his hand and did not let go as she pulled him toward the exit. I can tell she desperately wants out of her debt to the club and is probably wanting to impress Jim, so I quickly tap my collar, speaking to Mei over the microphone.
"Mei, can you background her fast for me, just to make sure Jim is going to be fine?" I instructed quietly. "If you can't find it, ask Lucy. She is probably aware of everyone here already, thanks."
Logan, seeing me mumble to myself in the dim light of the booth, shook his head. "You really like making your friends happy, don't you?" Logan asked.
I wave my hand dismissively, completely bursting his bubble about me being some kind of saintly friend.
"Jimbo constantly makes fun of me with all my love drama," I explained with a wicked chuckle. "So I am just adding some to his life so I can be smug right back, he-he. I can't wait to let Ashley know all about this tomorrow at University."
Logan failed to keep his face from twitching as he heard my petty reasoning. "Please don't ever be a good friend to me then," Logan muttered, leaning away. "And do not add any women to my life, thanks."
But when Logan noticed my incredibly guilty smile and saw me actively averting my eyes from his gaze, he asked hesitantly. "Please tell me you have not already tried hooking me up with someone?" Logan pressed, his posture stiffening.
I shrugged my shoulders, offering a casual smile. "She is younger than you and sexy, so don't be such a worrywart," I told him. "Plus, I think you guys might actually have great chemistry. It is all in the past anyway, so you can't blame me for trying."
"Who is she?" Logan demanded, looking highly apprehensive.
I merely shrugged again, refusing to give up the ghost. He rolled his eyes in frustration and turned to scan the crowded club floor below, but suddenly his eyes opened wide and he pointed a finger directly toward the southwest entrance. "Rick, that is the Master from the Snow Temple I warned you about," Logan whispered sharply. "And she has her disciples with her."
"That is Lan Chow?" I asked, squinting through the flashing lights. "Oh, yeah, she is from the China Empire. She is a Master all right, but she is definitely weaker than you, Logan."
He looks completely surprised by my statement. I can clearly tell exactly how strong she is from this far away, but he trusts my judgment on the call because he had already felt deep down that he was stronger than her.
Hinata stepped closer, her hand instantly shifting to ready her swords. "Would you like your blade, Sensei?" Hinata asked.
"No need, and do not act unless they explicitly draw weapons," I ordered calmly. "All of her disciples are only Basic and Advanced practitioners, well under your level in Kyusho Jitsu."
"Hinata understands, Sensei," she replied, her red eyes narrowing as she locked onto the targets.
Logan, seeing Hinata's profound level of reverent speech toward me and fully knowing her deadly reputation, looked like he just wanted to doubt life itself. But a smile crossed his face as he thought about how I train him every single week, and suddenly her respectful actions made perfect sense.
At this exact time, Luke and Alex walked back over to join our table, leaving the rest of the guys off having real fun upstairs.
A half-hour later, the group of Snow Temple students finally made their way up to our second-level table, and Lan crossed her arms tightly under her modest breasts. She stopped directly in front of our booth, glaring down at Logan.
"Logan Chen, this Azure State is now under the Snow Temple's absolute control," Lan announced, her voice sharp. "So you must return to Black State immediately, or we will force you to leave."
Luke, who was currently drinking from a bottle straight, paused and looked over at me. "Leader Tang, were those fighting words?" Luke asked.
I am really tipsy right now, so my drunk mouth completely forgot who was asking me the question.
"They were, hic, definitely fighting words..." I slurred.
Luke nodded at me seriously, and then an ear-to-ear grin made its way onto his face.
Luke grabbed his heavy bottle and quickly stood up, smacking one of the weaker disciples right in the head, instantly staggering him backward. Before the others could react, Luke grabbed another student, lifted him completely over his head with raw strength, and threw the stunned student right over the second-floor railing, sending him crashing into a lower-level table below and completely shattering it into splinters!
While everyone was taken aback by the sudden violence, I stood up from the booth and swiftly punched Lan square in her face, breaking her nose with a loud crack and making her stumble backward toward the rail. Immediately after, I grabbed a light-looking female student right by her ankles as she tried to resist, but she failed miserably against my grip.
Alex and Logan, seeing that a full-scale brawl was completely unavoidable now, jumped right into the fray, picking out separate opponents for themselves.
Lan, recovering from the punch in absolute humiliation and anger, pulled a short-sword from her gear, intending to stab me through the chest. But like a phantom appearing out of the darkness, Hinata had already parried the blade with a ringing clash, pushing her back with her Katana.
With my new human flail fully flailing in my hands, I spun around in a dizzying circle, giggling like a mad drunk. I had forgotten all of this before due to the alcohol, and I am only recalling it right now in this dream.
My new hundred-pound flail could only cover her own head to protect it from the other students I was swinging her body into. Yes, I was not doing a lot of actual damage to them, but it seemed drunk me wanted pure fun and not bloodshed—well, right until I kicked one student clean off the second floor. Oh, nice air!
"Good one, Boss!" Luke shouted over the din. "I give it a seven for style, ha-ha!"
Just as Luke told me that, he threw another woman over the railing to land directly on top of the first man he had thrown. We were being a bit mean this night.
Looking down at the half-conscious girl I was still holding by the legs, I finally let her go. I charged straight at another guy standing near the edge of the railing, a wide grin spreading across my face. I firmly held him in a bear hug and launched both me and him right over the side, targeting another table on the first floor while calling out at the top of my lungs.
"I BELIEVE I CAN FLLLLLLLLY~!"
Crash! Smash!
I deftly landed right on top of the nice student, who perfectly broke my fall along with a few of his own ribs. I looked around at all the screaming club customers in disbelief and yelled into the room.
"COME ON EVERYBODY, LETS FIGHT!"
Weaving around with a face full of drunken madness after flying over the second floor, the crowd panicked instantly, running and screaming for the exits as if a massive fire had just broken out.
Unknown to me at the time, these absolutely crazy acrobatic actions I took propelled my Acrobatics skill straight from Master to Grandmaster!
In a laughing rage, I started beating up the remaining Snow Temple people with a heavy barstool. Luke and I completely tore up both floors, causing the leader Lan to fume in pure humiliation and anger.
Right after Lan Chow beat a hasty retreat with her crushed and battered group, Hope Song finally came down the stairs to witness the absolute devastation both Luke and I had caused to her establishment. But the moment I told her to put all the damages directly onto my personal tab, her anger calmed. She and Alex then went away into the back offices to talk about whatever it was they needed to discuss.
I told Luke to get taxis for the rest of the boys who were still upstairs having fun, and I left the club with Hinata, leaning heavily on her shoulder just to walk straight toward the exit.
Inside the limo, I looked up at Hinata, my words slurring a bit as I remember saying them.
"My Precious, I want a kimono lap pillow, hic, he-he?" I mumbled.
Hinata, without missing a single beat, only patted her lap, and I lay my head down there with a happy smile.
Shortly after, however, a highly jealous Mei jumped into the back passenger area and released the beast. I now vividly remember that poor Hinata had to sit there and watch every single carnal moment of our aggressive sex in the back seat.
I may be dreaming all of this right now, but I think I am blushing in absolute shame in the real world as I sleep, sigh! I really wish I had never remembered all of this!
