Wake up, ‘Steal’ car

Waking up at 7 am sharp he felt well rested, as he got up, butt ass naked and stretched, and did a few light morning exercises he went to go shower once more, grabbing some cereal and synthetic milk. It tasted alright, but compared to the memories of his old life David had now, they tasted pretty much the same, you just needed to buy the right cereal.

After he ate, he leaned back in his chair, wondering what he would do today before he had to meet Rebecca, he knew how to shoot, both Davids did, Old David because he had taken training in the military, and shot often with his friends. New David because his father had been a cop, who taught him how to handle an iron because Gods know you needed one in these parts.

He shook his head a bit, not wanting to reminisce about something he could've done differently as he began to get dressed, holstering up which was much easier now that the holster was tightened properly as he holstered the Nue after giving it a field strip and once over.

Nanites could clean it for him, but he just liked to do it himself, a guilty pleasure one might say.

Better than cocaine... or the Synchcoke they had now.

After David got his clothing on, he did a few more stretches before leaving his apartment, it locking behind him.

His goal was in the garage of the mega building which unless he wanted to go out into the street to go into, he could just take the elevator straight down to it.

He didn't say anything as he stood in the elevator, a drunk sitting in the corner of it with a 'Mr. Handy' on his junk, it was basically just a masturbation tool for men so they could enjoy BDs.

This guy however wasn't running one and was just staring at the woman standing next to David, who tried to use him as a sort of block from the guys stare.

''Hey, kid. Get out of the way... Let me see her a-.''

The man stopped as he stared at the barrel of the gun, and unlike a certain dumbass, he didn't try to question if it was loaded or not, this was Night City, kids played with guns all the time.

He turned his body a bit, looking away. ''Sorry man, jesus... People pull out irons for anything now.''

The lady smiled at David in thank as he holstered his gun once more, giving her a kind smile in return as she got out on the second floor. Leaning over David hit the pad for floor one, and once it got there he put his foot in the way of the door so it didn't close.

''Get out.''

''Look ki-.'' He stopped once he saw David looking back to him, reaching for his pistol once more.

''Christ, alright alright...'' The man pulled himself up, leaving the elevator as David moved his foot, letting it close as he continued to ride it down to the garage.

Once he got to the garage he looked around, and seeing a security camera, he used his nanites to have the camera loop while he walked around.

Using his nanites he sucked up trash, stopping for only a moment when he realized that... He could clean the globe with nanites and basically remove a ton of trash from oceans, lakes, and everything else.

He thought about it for only a second as he shrugged, putting it off the stove for now as he made his way over to a car that looked long since abandoned.

David chuckled as he spoke out loud.

''It's not stealing if I'm just... Claiming something unowned, right?''

He let his nanites sweep the car, cleaning it of rust and repairing its basic systems and engine. Using the trash and a few pieces of other cars to fix it up with a few additions.

He also used Nanites to basically turn it into an entirely new car, reinforcing the windows, armor, and tires of the car while amping up its systems, engine, and multiple other things to make the car a mean mother fucker.

Now it looked like a Quadra Type-66, something a Nomad would drive with the matching colors of his Moms jacket.

Once the nanites finished everything he grinned as he got behind the wheel, the moment his hands touched the wheel it fired up with a roar.

''Oh man... The kind of purr to make a man feel wanted.'' He rubbed the steering wheel a bit before he pulled out of the garage, one he hit the road he pushed open that laptop in the middle of the center console, activating what looked to be a map of the city, and after he zoomed out a bit there were a few blips, blue ones, a few reds, and a single bright green one.

''Good, now I can avoid the ones in 'charge.'...''

Looking at the time he wondered what he should do with his few hours... Drumming his hands on the wheel a bit before he grinned, suddenly peeling off as he took off down the road, not caring any about the speed limit as, as long as you didn't kill anyone, none of the authorities really fucking cared.

David's eyes glowed a bit as a soft tone was played in his ear before he heard a soft moan on the other side.

<David?> L

<Hey Lucy, got anything going on for the next two hours?>

<Mm.. What's today? Ugh, no, I was planning to get something to eat though.> L

<Let me take you out to eat, got something I want to show you... Which is more me showing off than anything.>

<David, you already showed off your skills, I don't like men who brag.> L

<What about when it comes to driving skills?>

There was a silence over the holo for a moment before she finally spoke.

<Pick me up here in 10 minutes.> L

<Ten minutes? Lucy, that's across town.>

<So much for driving skills, huh? Hurry up, I'm hungry.> L

The call was cut off, and if David didn't have a reason to speed before, he did now. A beautiful lady was waiting on him after all.
