Adam ‘Catch these f*cking hands’ Smasher.

David slowly looked from Bast, back up to Adam who walked off the car and landed with a heavy sound.

''Originally, it was meant to be a weapons test, and I was supposed to scrape the blood off and collect the leftover... But orders came in, I'm going to enjoy ripping into your fancy little suit and taking it back to the lab.''

Adam watched to the side as suddenly, his incredibly luxurious, heavily secure fat bank account was drained of all it was worth. All 44.1 trillion of it.

His brow went up as his eyes focused on the man that suddenly walked out of the suit, it opened up as the suit began to quickly shift into what looked to be a large dog as it began to back away while watching the two humanoids.

''Took my money? Whatever, it will be easy to get back once I crush your skull in... Should've stayed in your fancy suit boy, you could've at least made it fun.''

Adam stepped forward and raised his fist, aiming to deliver a quick and boring death with a simple flick of his arm.

Only for his fist to stop dead in its track. Adam was confused as he watched what happened. David still standing there, his chest darkened around the impact where his fist hit. Sparks flew as his knuckles ground down softly on the strange surface.

''How the hell...'' Adam began only to be interrupted by David.

''You just HAD. To make it fucking personal, my fucking car?'' David's arms moved in a blur, even as Adam activated his Sadvestian to keep up, it was still too fast to process, only able to watch in slow motion as his large arm was easily moved to the side. Before David's fist rocketed forward and slammed into his abdomen.

It didn't knock the wind off him, but he easily noticed how he soon felt weightless and was tossed.

Time suddenly returned to normal as he blurred down the street and smashed into the side of the now-parked semi

Adam ignored the multiple warnings telling him of the damages he just got, his body formed into the thick plating as it seemed to fold like aluminum behind him as he pulled himself out of it.

David was suddenly there in front of him shoulder checking him, the force of it sent him tearing through both of the sides of the semi's trailer as he ended up skipping across the street. Sparks flying, despite what was going on he was still able to see the large Doberman now on top of the flying AV he had arrived in, tearing into it with its claws like it was butter, even using its mouth to chew the metal like it was a nice kibble.

Adam was, confused. He was the top of the line, he was a god with all his cyberwear. How the fuck was this brat just dominating him like this? The kid had a Sandvestian as well, apparently a better version of his as well.

He began to struggle to get up as David was already there in front of him again, kicking him back to the ground as the asphalt beneath him cracked, crunching beneath the force and weight of the hit.

Adam growled out, his body starting to spark as his voice warbled, it looked like he had taken damage to the voice modification installed.

''How are you so strong?''

David was naked, the activation of the suit having torn apart his clothing, it was for that exact reason he didn't wear it with his jacket and left it in the car, having seen Rebecca wearing it when she got out.

Leaning forward his skin darkened, nanites rolling over him like a second skin, like scales shifting as Adam only seemed to get more confused.

''Nanites Son. They harden in response to physical Trauma.'' His fist crunched into Adam's face, breaking the metal nose with ease. Causing Adam's head to smash back into the pavement,a red hot blade suddenly ejected from Adams's wrist only to get snapped against David's abdomen as it hardened.

''Nice Knife, but you can't hurt me.'' David reached forward, his hands closing around Adam's face even as the man tried to punch David, not even getting a flinch from the man as David's head squeezed around his head.

He roared, his brain and cyberwear suddenly getting assaulted as David forcibly extracted information, and the blueprints, his brain getting cut off from the net as he was being forced to submit beneath David.

''I know now... Just another will take your place, you aren't the only 'Adam Smasher' they have, another will appear within a week's time, and he'll go back to being their boogeyman. But they won't come and search for you, somehow, you went rogue. Somehow you got away, but shortly after all your cyberwear detonated, leaving you nothing but mist inside some crater somewhere. A real shame.''

Adam's head crunched beneath David's hands which were black, the sparks flying and blue synthetic blood flying everywhere after he crushed the head. The nanites quickly devoured the body beneath his hands and cleaned the area around them of the parts, building clothes of David as he stood, staring at where Adam once was before he began to walk back over to his car.

''Bast, you doin' alright girl?''

''I do not feel pain, but I do not appreciate the state I am in... Can I recommend something in case of another possible incident?''

Bast spoke to him as he rubbed at her hood softly, nanites started to repair the damage done and clean up all the glass and parts that got scattered, along with the many vehicles and bodies that littered the highway because of the gang that tried to attack the convoy before.

Soon, the only thing on the road was the Crew's Transport, Bast, the Motorcycle, and David.

Soon everyone ran over to him, Rebecca throwing herself into his arms and Lucy followed shortly after, kissing him hard as the both of them squeezed into him. Only to rapidly get pulled into a group hug.

Maine held everyone together for a moment before releasing them, everyone pulling away from David, Kiwi staying only a moment longer as she checked his abdomen, seeing not even a cut from when the blade had appeared.

''Look David, I don't know what you did, or how you did it... I'm just glad you're safe.'' Maine sighed out, a lot of questions being left unasked since David was fine.

''I'll... Let's get back to the garage, when we get there I'll answer the questions I can, there are just some things I can't, or won't answer.''

A/N

Underwhelming of a death? Yeah. But that's all he deserves.

I thought about making it some epic battle, some epic conclusion to all of the hatred for the ending of Edgerunners.

But man, after thinking about it? He gets to be killed just like that, just like he killed Rebecca, no fight to save himself, no respect, just dead. He's only lucky he got a few seconds to understand what was going on since David didn't want anything more to happen to his car.

Also, this isn't the end, this is just another chapter to me, so it doesn't deserve an epic final showdown.
