Upon seeing the result of the battle, the audience started to discuss animatedly.

"That kid... he really didn't use his Quirk!"

"Dedication versus innate power. As he said in his speech at the beginning. It is not about power, it is about how you use it."

"To think he could face all those attacks without losing his composure, he even dodged most and beat his opponents."

The battle was over. The crowd had been greatly entertained by the battle, but now they were shocked by what happened at the end of the battle.

"That beautiful bastard, he actually threw that kid away, like he was a tennis ball or something."

"Watch what you say about Mokami-Sama, Kouko."

"What did I say? The greenhead was the one to challenge this guy and get thrown aside! I'm not saying he didn't deserve it"

Kouko was right to a certain extent. Izuku was the one who challenged Mokami. Mokami said nothing wrong. He didn't mock Izuku, he just told him the truth. That was the reason why Kouko thought it was even more beautiful.

While the crowd was discussing excitedly, the Izuku was taken away. He broke most of his bones, and it would take him a long time to recover. His reputation also took some damage and it would definitely affect his career as a hero. To be honest, Mokami didn't want to go this far, but it was Izuku who aimed at him with a deadly attack and it was he who talked nonsense.

"Second battle, Todoroki vs Yui!"

After a brief pause for Cementos to fix the stage, the fights continued.

It was an interesting matchup as neither side liked to speak. So as they appeared on the stage, they just looked at each other and said nothing.

The battle began after Midnight gave the start, and Yui started to run back to make the distance. Todoroki learned from his past mistakes, so he dashed forward with ice gliding under his feet and he chased after the quiet girl. Last time, he allowed Reiko to attack from afar, and it irritated him.

Now, he didn’t want to give the same chance to Yui, who was even more troublesome with all the rocks around.

Yui, on the other hand, while running, collected tens of rocks by shrinking them. And when Todoroki was close, she fired them like bullets and destroyed the ice.

Seeing he was building cold again, he clicked his tongue in annoyance and used fire to corner Yui. It didn't last long after that, and the half-half boy won.

Ibara vs Tokage was less exciting. Although Tokage’s ability was versatile and tricky, Ibara could control her hair like vines, so despite splitting it into many pieces, Ibara easily overpowered Tokage.

The final battle of the second round was an exciting one. Bakugo was strong, and his ability was broken. Despite all the shitty attitude, what no one could tell about this kid was lazy. He was hard-working and hated losing, so he wasn't an opponent to scoff at. But Momo was Momo.

Bakugo knew Momo, much like her brother, was troublesome. She had many black belts for various martial arts that made her a deadly opponent. On top of that, she had that annoying Quirk that virtually allowed her to create anything.

He had seen her battle with Kendo, and knew approaching this woman was the most stupid thing he could do, thus propelling himself into the air, Bakugo opened the distance but it was only temporary. Sadly, Momo’s abilities were beyond that. She could create guns and bombs to attack from distance too, so Bakugo could only keep his mobility at maximum to dodge anything this annoying woman could throw at him.

“Opening distance is logical, but not enough,” Momo smirked as she created a bazooka and attacked with it. Bombs started to explode around Bakugou, who dodged them without any problem. The problem was, the ammunition was exploding where he was standing even when he dodged. That rang some danger bells in his mind.

“Why are they exploding instead of moving forward?” He asked no one. Of course, this was Momo’s plan. She set timers to the bombs based on Bakugo’s location, thus they would explode at the closest distance from him. “I need to finish this soon.”

He wanted to use his new move, but he had to charge more sweat for it. He could also use it once, and he didn’t want to waste that chance as it was his only attack from distance. But since the competition didn’t allow them to use Hero Gear, he couldn’t store his sweat for that attack. And he was still apprehensive when it came to approaching Momo.

Momo on the other hand was still attacking with the bazooka and wasn’t bothered when Bakugo dodged them left and right. She had a small, playful smile on her lips. Soon, the reason was revealed. Bakugo, who was propelling himself in the air, started to lose control of his ability and moved on to the stage in shock.

"Why can't I generate explosions?" Bakugo asked in disbelief in the second minute of the battle. It wasn't easy for Momo either to withstand the constant assault of this prick, but after she was done with her plan, it was all easy.

"I sprayed a gas that stops you from sweating and since you can't generate your fuel, you can't combust them anymore. Don't worry, it is only temporary." Momo smiled good-naturedly. “All those bombs that exploded around you were carrying this powder I generated.”

"How is that even possible?" Bakugo asked as he tried to generate sweat, but nothing came out.

"Please calm down, Bakugo-san. Since you can't sweat, your body can't release heat. The angrier you get, the more you will heat up. That would be dangerous." Momo warned as if she was worried about the prick.

"Evil woman," Bakugo muttered in terror. He was famous for his bad temper and now even that was robbed from him alongside his ability. Was he even Bakugo anymore? What would people say?

Would Izuku even simp for him now that he couldn't get angry? If a Bakugo couldn’t swear murders in anger, would it be worth calling him Bakugo?
