"Second battle!" Midnight called out. Mokami was waiting on the bench. He didn't bother to go to the waiting room. The room was for students to calm their minds in solitude. He was calm, and he didn't need to go there to sit all alone. He was comfortable with Momo, Toru and others seating next to him.

Amidst the cheers of thousands of people, the pink-haired girl and Mokami jumped on the stage.

He knew this battle would be easy as the pink-haired girl didn't want to fight, and only to demonstrate her babies. So he just stood and let her do whatever she wanted. He even gave some ideas about how she could improve some of the things. Mei was love-struck whenever he did that, so Mokami was more than happy to do more.

"Talk to me after the tournament about partnership." He whispered so only she could hear it before she forfeited, so the second match was over.

The third match was interesting. Reiko was one of the students that benefited from the new stage the most. The Quirk that allowed her to move objects via telekinesis shone on a new battlefield.

Since she saw Todoroki's abilities during the first and second stages, she knew how overpowered he was. To deal with it, she chose the good old guerrilla tactic and threw rocks while hiding.

Todoroki, who started to freeze due to his Quirk, lost patience and used his left side to melt his ice.

This was the first time he used fire today. Although he was getting along with the idea due to joint training and Mokami's speeches, he was still uncomfortable.

The sudden loss of control made him lose his composure, thus he threw caution to the wind, and attacked brutally. In the end, despite the favorable stage, Reiko lost.

The fourth battle was the one Mokami waited for most. Uraraka with Quirk that allowed her to float rocks around and throw them without any force and then rain them down on an opponent, versus Yui, who could shrink big ass rocks to the size of pebbles, and throw them with the speed of bullets, then turn them back into their original size and almost imitate meteor shower.

While Uraraka unleashed the rocks she floated above the battlefield and crashed them into Yui's general direction, Yui who had somewhat decent defense due to the big rocks she could throw at high speeds countered from afar. Each time she successfully dodged Yui's attack, Uraraka recovered a rock that crashed and threw it again to increase her ammunition.

This went on for some time until one of Uraraka's rocks crashed a bit too close to Yui. She, without thinking, threw the rock that was in her hand and hit Uraraka when its size grew tenfold.

A few seconds later, the referee declared the winner. Luckily Uraraka wasn't seriously injured, but the audience finally realized what Mokami meant when he suggested the change of stage. If it wasn't for that, Reiko, Uraraka, and Yui would perform poorly. Yui would be downright useless.

The following battle, the sixth, was the same as the anime. Ibara, with her electric immune vine hairs, thrashed Kaminari easily and threw him out of the stage.

The seventh battle was also interesting. One of the biggest reasons why he suggested the change was Toru. Besides being invisible, Toru was just a normal girl. Although due to him she was learning martial arts and she was getting stronger each and every day, in an open field, she would be crushed easily.

Fortunately, it went as he predicted, with her birthday suit, which meant she was completely invisible, she dodged Tokage's body parts and approached her head parts. There was no throwing Tokage out, so the only option left was to rob her consciousness. Of course, it was easier said than done. Tokage upon finding out Toru's whereabouts quickly grabbed the opportunity and defeated her opponent.

Sadly despite her progress and fairness Mokami added to the battle, without hero gear, Toru was weak. If she had a laser gun, she could have reflected it on her opponent and defeated her in no time. (With Mokami's help, she had already learned that move.)

Toru sighed helplessly when she was defeated and looked at Mokami, who couldn't focus on her eyes, which meant he wasn't using the lens to see her. Another person might have thought he was faking, but she knew it wasn't the case. She, by now, had a great deal of understanding of his character and knew Mokami would never take advantage of her. If he wanted to, he wouldn't reveal this ability of his in the first place.

The same went for her parents. Before she joined the festival, she asked Mokami to deactivate all the lenses, so no one could see her naked.

The seventh battle was a bit anticlimactic. Although Shoji was strong, he couldn't do much against Katsuki who could float. Although he threw rocks at the blonde, Katsuki had great maneuverability in the air. In the end, he closed the distance bit by bit and won with a Howitzer Impact.

And finally the last battle of the first round. In Joint class training in anime, Itsuka had beaten Momo with her overwhelming strength. But to be honest, that Momo was an inexperienced idiot. This Momo, Mokami's twin sister, was leagues ahead of her anime version.

When the battle started, Momo created a shield with a gun. Itsuka was fast to dash toward Momo as she knew the longer she was left behind, the more dangerous Momo would become. By criss crossing between big and small rocks all around the battlefield, Itsuka reached Momo, but it was too late anyway.

Momo fired the gun in her hand, and a liquid ejected from it. Itsuka defended with her enlarged hand and went for a dive. When she was upon Momo, she attacked brutally and destroyed the tungsten-steel shield, but to her surprise, a green liquid exploded on her.

The liquid, as soon as it met the air, started to harden, and in no time at all, Itsuka was frozen like a statue.

"You are so strong." Itsuka wistfully sighed, "The liquid I defended with my hand is opiate right?"

"Yes, if I couldn't hit you with this superglue, you would pass out by now. But I hid the antidote inside the superglue so if you were to get caught, you could stay awake." Momo nodded. She then helped Itsuka break out and they both went down.
