Ch9- Training Begins (2)

"Hello kids, I am Araya Kiku. I have Ph. D. in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Atomic Structural Formulas, Elemental Bonds, and Compounds. My Quirk enhances my brain, thus making me smarter.  So it is easy for me to understand these subjects, but as I am informed, your Quirks require you to learn the structure of matter to create. So, I will be teaching you as much as I can. " The old lady with glasses said as she sat on the table. Momo and Mokami were already seated with tablets ready in front of them.

"I am Momo Yaoyorozu and my brother Mokami.  Our power allows us to change the fat tissue into anything non-living so long as we know the atomic configuration of the said matter. " Momo explained while Mokami nodded.

"Alright then, let me see what you can do," Araya said as she took out a piece of paper with atomic symbols on it.

"I need a pencil. " The sensei requested and pointed at one of the pictures with a structural formula.

"Okay," Momo answered and focused and channeled her powers.  They have been learning about elements for a while now and seeing the structure, helped her to visualize the end product which was crucial in creation.

"I need a pair of scissors. " Then she pointed at another for Mokami to create. This one was filled with the iron element.

"Right away, Sensei! " Mokami answered.

"That is really good," Araya said, which made Momo and Mokami happy. They took some time, but they could create the items by following the instructions.

"It's time you start learning how to create simple molecules. This will help you create complex molecules later on. " Araya stated.

Several months passed, and the class was more advanced.

"It's time. Now you will learn to make complex molecules. " Araya stated as she observed for months and saw how Momo and Mokami learned everything she taught so far.

"Now, Momo, take your big container and fill it with water. Mokami, take your small beaker. You are going to make a solution of water and propane. Momo, what is propane? " Araya asked.

"Propane has three carbon atoms, but only one is bonded to two hydrogen atoms, thus making it C3H8," Momo answered as she focused on the task. She started to make the solution, as Mokami did the same in his beaker.

"Now, Mokami, add the solution. Very good. " Araya instructed as she asked questions from time to time to keep their memories fresh.

"Finally, we are done," Momo said as Mokami nodded.

"Yes, we are. We'll be able to create more complex molecules without sensei's instructions. " Mokami beamed happily.

"Yes. But we still can't understand more complex creations. " Momo sighed.

"That is fine. We are still growing up. " Mokami said.

"Well, I agree. But it does feel good to know that we can do it on our own. " Momo said.

"Okay, for a little celebration. Let's make a small cake out of pork. " Mokami said.

"You mean you want to eat the whole pork and then create a cake by using the fat tissue? " Momo asked.

"You know, your Onii-chan best. " Mokami smiled.

"Okay then, let's get some pork from the fridge," Momo said with a giggle as she asked.

"Right away, sis," Mokami answered.

Momo and Mokami Yaoyorozu were really confident with their Quirks. But they still need to practice and learn more.

Suddenly, Momo's phone rang. She looked at the screen and saw it was Nejire.

"Hello?

"Momo-chan, can you come to play? " Nejire Hado asked.

"Huh? Sure, I was training with Onii-chan, but I can come over.

"Heh, heh! Why don't you bring him too? It has been weeks since I last saw Moka-chan! " Nejire excitedly asked.

"Okay, we are coming now," Momo answered with a sigh and hung up. Duo gave up on creating a cake and walked to the mansion not that far away. The Hado family lived really close, and Mama Hado was friends with Mika. Momo and Nejire were close friends too, which made Mokami Nejire's friend automatically. In fact, the little lass had a crush on him.

"Come in, come in! Let's go to the backyard and play. " Nejire grabbed and dragged them before they even knocked on the door.  She was 10 years old already, two years older than the duo and her curious and playful personality started to surface.

Upon arriving in the backyard, she raised her hand and fired a blast of air, and knocked some blocks over. She was practicing as hard as they did, and Mokami could see that her practices were paying off. Her control over her Quirk was amazing considering her age.

"Wow! That was neat! " Mokami said as he was impressed.

"Thanks, Moka-chan. But I can't do it as fast as you can. " Nejire pouted.

"Our Quirks are different, thus results are different. You are really good, Nejire-chan. " Mokami patted her head, much to Nejire's embarrassment. But she also enjoyed the feeling.

"You are strong, Nejire-chan. " Momo too walked and hugged her friend.

"Ehehe, thanks. " She smiled, "Let's play basketball but use our Quirks to make it interesting. This way, we can practice too!

"Not a bad idea. " Mokami nodded and walked to the court. He grabbed the basketball and created a glove that could enhance his wrist power. Although it looked complex, it was a simple tool that used spring to increase his power of throws. "2 versus 1?

"Okay, I'm in! " Momo joined in and created her own basketball glove.

"Let's dunk! " Nejire exclaimed and used her Quirk to enhance her legs.

"I'll beat you! " Mokami laughed and created shoes as well.

"I'm in! " Momo said as she ran to the basketball net.

After some intense matches, the three went to the table and relaxed. As they did so, a mature woman with periwinkle hair and blue eyes walked to the garden with a tray with limonades.

"Moka-chan, Momo-chan, come and rest. " Eire Hado, Nejire's mother said with a bright smile. She looked just like Nejire in her adulthood.  Mokami had never seen her in anime but seeing her made him realize Nejire's future beauty came from her mother.

Nejire's dad passed away when she was three years old, and the Hado Family left two members, mother and daughter.  Since Eire was close with Mika, and because her husband was wealthy, they moved to a nearby mansion to live, thus becoming neighbors. Mokami would lie if he said he didn't have plans for this beautiful woman.

"Moka-chan, nee, nee, do you really want to become a hero? Do you want to go to UA High? " Nejire asked.

"Both Momo and I want to, yes. " Mokami sighed.

"But our families can only recommend one person, what will you do? " Nejire asked.

"I will take the exam. I want to test myself anyway. " Mokami answered with a smile.

"Yes, I want to become a hero too. I want to be strong and protect those who are precious to me. I want to help people. " Momo smiled and hugged her brother, who returned the hug.

"I see. But, no matter what happens, I will always be Moka-chan's fan! I will cheer for you, Moka-chan! " Nejire suddenly said.

"Really? You are Onii-chan's fan too. " Momo smiled and gave her a small peck on her cheek. Nejire felt really happy. She did not expect Momo to kiss her, although she would rather Mokami kiss her. After talking for a little longer, Momo and Mokami left and returned home. They saw Mika in the living room drinking coffee.

"Welcome, Kaa-chan, when did you return? " Mokami asked.

"Oh, it hasn't been long. " Mika smiled as he opened his arm wide. The siblings went up to their mother and hugged her.

"You seem tired, Kaa-chan, let me massage you," Mokami said.

"Thank you, honey. " Mika smiled and scooched forward so Mokami stood behind her. He started to massage her shoulders and neck and moved to her arms. He had lots of memories of massaging techniques from countless books in his mind, thus he was sort of an expert.

"Thanks a lot, Moka-Chan. That really helped. " Mika kissed his cheek as she got up. "Now, I have to take a bath."
