Chapter 186. Ahh~ Harder
Succubi Chapter 186. Ahh~ Harder
My fingers curled.
Energy surged.
[Demonic Orbs Activated]
Dark spheres flickered into existence around me.
One.
Two.
Three.
They hovered, spinning slowly.
And honestly? That part looked cool.
Like, cinematic cool. Main character poster cool. “Academy’s Youngest Demon Prince Faces the Night” cool.
If someone was watching from the trees, they’d probably nod and go, yeah, that guy’s got presence.
Unfortunately, the only audience I had were semi-transparent ghost girls with questionable sound design.
They circled me.
Four in front.
Two more phasing in from behind the trees.
Seven total.
Great.
Full pack.
Their white dresses fluttered without wind. Their bodies glitched faintly at the edges. Their eyes locked on me, hunger creeping in as the illusion thinned.
“Help me~”
“Ah…”
“Please…”
“…Stop that,” I muttered flatly.
They lunged.
All at once.
No countdown.
No hesitation.
Just white blurs tearing through the dark.
I moved.
[Shadow Step]
The world folded for half a second and I reappeared behind the first one, my hand already forming a blade.
[Shadow Blade – Longsword]
Black mana condensed in my grip, stretching into a curved blade that hummed faintly.
I slashed.
Clean.
Direct.
The blade cut through her torso.
And she let out.
“Oh~!”
I froze mid-swing.
“Are you kidding me?!”
The ghost flickered violently, form destabilizing.
But before she dispersed, she looked back at me with half-lidded eyes and breathed.
“Ahh…”
Then exploded into particles.
I stood there in silence for exactly half a second.
“…WHY?!”
No time to process.
Another one slammed into my side.
I threw up a hand instinctively.
[Infernal Barrier]
A dark shield flared around me just as her claws scraped against it.
“Ahh~ harder—!”
I stared at her through the barrier.
“You don’t get to say that when you’re attacking me!”
She pressed against the shield, distortion warping her body unnaturally.
And yeah.
It was still doing that thing.
The proportions shifting.
The curves exaggerating just enough to be distracting.
I grit my teeth.
“This is psychological damage.”
Two more attacked from opposite sides.
I dismissed the barrier and jumped back.
[Death Wave]
Dark energy pulsed outward from me in a wide arc, slamming into three of them at once.
They convulsed mid-air.
And in perfect, synchronized timing.
“Ahhhh~!”
“Oh—!”
“Mmnh—!”
The forest echoed.
I actually looked up at the sky.
“Who taught them to moans?!”
One of them reformed partially, crawling toward me with fingers digging into the soil.
“More… ah…”
“Stop combining those words!”
She lunged low.
I pivoted and kicked her straight in the face.
Her head snapped back.
“Oh~!”
“…That was a kick.”
The remaining ghosts regrouped.
Circling.
Testing.
Their forms flickering faster now.
They weren’t just illusions.
They were adapting.
Good.
Finally something normal.
“Alright,” I exhaled, rolling my neck. “Let’s end this.”
[Dark Orbs]
The three orbs multiplied instantly.
Six.
Nine.
Fifteen.
They spread outward into a triangular formation around me, rotating slowly.
Black spheres humming with compressed gravity.
One of the ghosts tilted her head curiously.
Bad idea.
I snapped my fingers.
The orbs shot outward.
They detonated on impact in small gravity pulses, dragging the ghosts inward before exploding again.
The forest shook.
Leaves tore free.
Dark energy rippled.
And every single time an orb connected.
“Ahh—!”
“Oh—!”
“Mmm—!”
I clenched my jaw so hard my teeth hurt.
“Please stop! This is not an ero game!”
One of them managed to slip through the explosion wave and appeared right in front of me, inches away.
Too close.
Her face flickered.
Beautiful.
Wrong.
Hungry.
She leaned forward slightly.
“Help me~”
My eye twitched.
I grabbed her by the throat.
“NO.”
I slammed her down into the ground and drove the Shadow Blade straight through her chest.
She arched violently.
“Ohhh—!”
The sound echoed way too long before she dissolved.
I stood there, breathing heavier now.
Five down.
Two left.
They didn’t retreat.
They got faster.
Both split in opposite directions, phasing in and out rapidly.
Fine.
Speed game.
I cracked my knuckles.
[Devil Armor]
Dark plating formed over my shoulders and chest, light but solid.
They came at me simultaneously.
Left.
Right.
I twisted, catching one with the flat of my blade and redirecting her momentum into a tree.
She hit bark.
“Ah~!”
The other clawed across my armor.
Sparks flew.
“Oh—!”
“I am going to scream.”
I drove my elbow into her face and followed with a clean upward slash.
Her form split in two.
“Ahhh—!”
Disintegrated.
Last one.
She staggered backward, flickering violently now.
Half solid.
Half mist.
Still trying the voice.
“Help… ah…”
I exhaled slowly.
“No.”
I lifted my hand.
[Dark Healing]
A faint siphon of mana returned from the destroyed ones, feeding into me.
Good.
I stepped forward calmly.
She tried to run.
Phased through a tree.
Appeared behind me.
I didn’t turn.
[Shadow Step]
Reappeared behind her instead.
Her head tilted in confusion.
I leaned close.
“Wrong ghost.”
And drove the blade straight through her back.
She stiffened.
Flickered.
Then…
“Ohhh—!”
Dispersed into nothing.
Silence fell over the forest.
Just wind.
Just leaves.
Just me standing there, blade dissolving from my hand.
I stared into the dark for a few seconds.
Waiting.
Listening.
No more movement.
No more breathy nonsense.
Just quiet.
I rolled my shoulders slowly.
“That was the weirdest fight I’ve ever had.”
My heartbeat was steady.
No fear.
No hesitation now.
Just… mild emotional damage.
I glanced down at my bracelet.
HP stable.
Good.
Then…
[Mission Objective Complete: Spectral Crawlers Eliminated]
Finally.
I exhaled.
Then the familiar glow flickered faintly in my vision.
Oh.
There it is.

I blinked.
“Worth it.”
