Chapter 158. Warm and Cold II
Succubi Chapter 158. Warm and Cold II
Tears clung to the corners of her eyes, not from pain, but from how much her body had taken. Her thighs clenched like she didn’t want me to ever leave. Her chest heaved, her voice a breathless mess.
And then…
The speaker in the corner of the room cracked to life.
“Dinner is ready.”
Lilith’s voice.
Calm. Cheerful. Too innocent for the state we were in.
We froze.
Panting.
Bodies tangled.
Her ropes loosened.
She stared up at me, chest still rising and falling, hair stuck to her cheeks, pupils blown wide.
“…Dinner?” she rasped.
I blinked. “…Yeah.”
Silence.
Then we both burst out laughing.
Messy. Wrecked. Still connected. Still breathing hard.
Still absolutely not ready for dinner.
But hey.
We’d earned it.
I finally exhaled a long, hoarse breath and eased myself out of her slowly, carefully, not without a groan on both our ends. My arms gave out halfway through the motion and I just collapsed beside her onto the bed with a quiet thud.
“Holy shit,” I muttered, staring at the ceiling like it owed me answers. “That was insane.”
Evelyn didn’t move right away. She just lay there, chest still rising and falling in sharp little breaths, hair spread across the pillow like a halo of sin.
“Yeah…” she said, voice rough and distant. “That was… crazy. Like, I think I met one of my ancestors halfway through.”
I laughed, wincing as the motion jolted my sore everything. My body was a mess of faint rope marks, love bites, sweat, and something I was probably gonna need a towel for. I sat up slowly, swinging my legs off the edge of the bed.
She blinked at me. “Wait. Are you seriously getting up?”
“Yeah,” I said, rubbing my face. “Dinner.”
Her mouth dropped open slightly. “Dinner?”
I turned and gave her a lopsided grin. “I’m sticky, sore, and slightly vibrating from whatever system boost that last round triggered… but yeah. I still want to eat.”
She groaned and flopped back dramatically. “You surely still prioritize food.”
“I should,” I said, standing up completely and immediately regretting it. My legs wobbled a bit. My cock twitched like it hadn’t signed off yet, but I patted it like, ‘calm down, you’ve done enough’. “I need the energy.”
“To do what?” she mumbled against a pillow.
I leaned over, smirking down at her. “To screw you up again later.”
She snorted. “You’re an absolute menace.”
“You say that like you didn’t make me a menace.”
I bent down and kissed her forehead, then hesitated. I paused there, lips lingering, hands sliding under her hair, before I leaned in and pulled her into a slow hug. She gasped a little, surprised by the shift in energy, but melted into me instantly.
“Seriously,” I whispered into her hair. “I’ve never… gone crazy like that before.”
She blinked up at me, fingers tracing lazy patterns on my back. “You mean with sex?”
“Yeah,” I said. “I mean, sure, I’ve had fun before. Been wild. But this?” I exhaled. “This was something else.”
She didn’t tease. Didn’t smirk.
She just looked at me, really looked. Her eyes softer now, that post-climax clarity setting in around the haze.
“You felt weird?” she asked.
“Yeah,” I said. “Not bad. Just… like part of me let go of something. And grabbed onto something else. Something real.”
She was quiet for a moment.
Then. “I felt it too.”
I blinked. “You did?”
Evelyn nodded slowly. “I wasn’t just moaning for fun, you know.”
“I definitely knew,” I said with a small laugh.
She slapped my chest weakly. “I’m serious, dumbass. That was… I don’t know. I didn’t think I’d ever actually bond like that.”
I let that hang for a beat. Then, softer. “Yeah. It was.”
Her fingers slid up my chest, pausing over where my heart still thudded a little too fast.
“You gonna leave me hanging after dinner?” she asked, voice teasing but… hopeful.
I grinned and kissed her again, quick, rough, but real.
“Hell no,” I said. “But you better eat something too.”
“Why?”
“Because next time,” I whispered near her ear, “I’m tying you up properly. And I’m not stopping.”
She shuddered and pulled the blanket over her face dramatically.
I stood up, stretching, completely naked and 100% out of dignity. But honestly? I didn’t care.
I had just experienced what could only be described as… divine chaos. Carnal bliss. A Pride demon's fever dream.
My hair was wrecked. My aura still faintly buzzed around my shoulders. My legs felt like I’d squatted a hellhound. And my system still hadn’t stopped flashing achievement messages.
But yeah. Worth it.
“Come on,” I said, slapping Evelyn’s butt through the blanket. “Dinner’s not gonna eat itself.”
She groaned.
“You screamed my name like four times. I know you still have power for dinner and succubus eat from sex, right?”
She poked her head out, hair looking like she got into a wrestling match with a thunderstorm. “Do we really have to go out there?”
“We’re already late. And if we don’t show up, they’ll think we died.”
“…They probably think that anyway.”
Fair.
Still, we dressed.
Fast.
She pulled on a clean hoodie over nothing but shorts and tried to tie her hair into a lazy bun that failed halfway through. I wiped myself down with a towel, threw on fresh pants and my t-shirt, and splashed water on my face like that was gonna fix the sheer post-sex glow still radiating off me like steam off a hot plate.
We walked to the dining room together.
And yeah, that was a mistake.
Because the moment we stepped in…
Silence.
Every single succubus at the long, gleaming mahogany dining table looked up.
Forks froze.
Eyes locked on us.
And they all saw it.
The tangled hair. The uneven collar. The subtle limp. The slight hickeys peeking out under Evelyn’s hoodie.
The way we both smelled like sex and soap and sin.
It wasn’t subtle.
It was basically a full volume announcement.
“WE JUST HAD SEX! CRAZY SEX! MULTIPLE TIMES! YOU’RE WELCOME!”
And we owned it.
Mostly.
