Chapter 127. Hormones: ACTIVATED!
Succubi Chapter 127. Hormones: ACTIVATED!
And then…
She looked at me.
Not the sexy smirking come at me look.
Nah.
This was deeper. That kind of stare women give you before they destroy your GPA, your emotional stability, and your bedframe.
And then she did something I did not expect.
She peeled her clothes.
Yes.
She peeled.
Like some kind of cursed hentai fruit.
My jaw dropped inside the mask.
Brain: error.
Hormones: ACTIVATED!
My inner monologue? “Oh hell yeah.”
Gasps echoed from the stands. Then full-blown cheers.
“YEAHHHH!!”
“WOOOO!!”
“WE STAN THIS ENERGY!!”
“GOTH MOMMY, MURDER HIM WITH TITTIES!!”
I wanted to yell at them. F them all. Seriously. Traitors.
My neck twitched sideways, instinct, and yeah, there it was. Callahan.
The supposed unshakable, unreadable, cool mentor.
Mouth open.
Eyebrows up.
Eyes?
Locked on her breasts.
That bastard.
I turned back just in time to realize she wasn’t completely naked. Oh no. That would be merciful.
She left on… something.
A bra?
If you could call it that.
It was like someone tied spider silk into an abstract art installation and prayed the laws of physics wouldn’t notice. Two shimmering threads barely covered her nipples, crisscrossed with mana-imbued runes that looked like musical notes. Her lower half was wrapped in a similarly criminal string pattern. It didn’t hide. It highlighted. It invited death by thirst.
And the problem?
Yeah.
It also provoked “my below.”
I shifted my stance and growled under my breath, “That’s cheating!”
She giggled. Literally giggled like she was on a first date, not a bloodsport arena.
“No, it’s not~” she sang. “Your little friend did the same before. Tied his rune on his crotch, remember?” She winked. “I almost blew up his future~”
I looked at Callahan. For backup. For sanity.
He nodded slowly.
Not at me.
At her.
Like he was blessing her with divine agreement.
“Don’t agree with her!!” I shouted. “You’re supposed to be on my side!”
He turned to me with the calmest, most serene mentor smile I’d ever seen.
“I’m always on your side, Minion E.”
Then he gave me a thumbs-up.
There was blood trickling from his nose.
I cringed so hard I pulled a muscle in my soul.
“This mentor is hopeless,” I muttered.
And then she moved.
The banshee, I mean.
No warning. No build-up. No cue from the crowd. Just… bam!
She lunged.
I rolled. Shadow mana trailing behind my boots as I hit the ground and twisted back up. Her fingers sliced through the air where I had been, leaving behind a trail of vibrating notes that fizzled and hissed like unstable fireworks.
My eyes locked onto her again.
But she was different now.
Less banshee queen.
Horny MILF with a mana kink.
She tossed her hair, floated, really, those strands glowing faintly with spectral light, her whole body humming with seductive menace.
“Let’s continue the battle, boi~” she purred, dragging out that last word like she was tasting it.
I blinked.
“Did you just call me boi?”
She grinned. “Let me hear your moan~”
Okay.
Nope.
We’re not doing this.
“Lady,” I muttered, stepping back and summoning my skills.
[Shadow Blade – Whip Variant].
“You’ve got some issues,” I added.
My fingers clenched, and with a loud snap, the whip materialized. Long, dark, and pulsing with infernal energy.
And then…
“Oh my god, is that a whip?” someone screamed from the stands.
The crowd lost their collective minds.
Half of them were probably expecting me to cast some edgy emo spell or fling black daggers like an edgy rogue in heat. But no. No, I summoned a goddamn infernal whip. Apparently, that was enough to make the front row start giggling like we’d all logged into the wrong genre of game.
“Wooooo!! SLAY, MINION E!”
“BDSM BUILD UNLOCKED??”
“BRO GOT THE DOMINATRIX DLC!”
I heard Kyra scream laughing somewhere, and Adrian shout “HE’S NOT LIKE THAT!” in a panic that absolutely did not help my reputation.
“Bro’s got a whip,” someone else yelled. “I KNEW IT. I KNEW HE WAS KINKY!”
Even the ref choked on air like he was trying to stay professional, but just lost 10 HP from psychic damage.
“So~ you’re into older women?” she teased, twirling mid-air as glowing notes spiraled from her fingertips.
“No, I’m into not dying.”
I cracked the whip.
She dodged with a giggle, gliding sideways like gravity was just a suggestion for her. Her legs curled up mid-spin, thighs pressing together just enough to make me regret puberty.
This woman was weaponizing sex appeal.
And it was super effective.
I slapped my cheeks through the mask. “Focus, Evan. You are a shadow using, rune crushing, mana blasting menace of Hell’s sexy underground.”
I leapt forward.
She met me mid-air.
Her voice cracked open the air between us. Another scream. But this time? It wasn’t violent. It was breathy. A gasp.
“Ah~ Boi~”
I choked. Mid-jump.
Almost dropped the damn whip.
“You’re not allowed to moan at me!!” I barked, spinning into a kick that grazed her shoulder. She spun with it, dramatically, like it was part of a dance.
“That’s what you’ll sound like soon,” she whispered.
Okay. That’s it.
[Dark Orbs].
Mana exploded outward like a dying star. Fifty spheres of void energy formed around the arena, triangulated and pulsing. They hovered like hungry spirits, waiting for the call.
“Ohhh…” she whispered, eyes shimmering. “So many balls~” The way she said balls made it sound like something else!
Dammit! Just dammit!
“Stop talking!!” I shouted.
She flew into them.
I let them detonate.
-Boom! -Boom! -Boom!
Each orb sucked at her body like tiny black holes, warping space for a second before collapsing inward with a pop.
She moaned.
Moaned!
“Ah~ it pulls~”
Oh, come on!
I had to punch something.
So I did.
I punched the air and activated Death Wave.
A crimson ripple of infernal energy screamed forward. It hit her mid-giggle and spun her midair like a ragdoll in a wind tunnel.
She hit the ground, bounced once, rolled.
Did a pose.
Looked up.
Grinning.
Her rune was cracked even more now.
“You’re a cruel boy,” she gasped. “I love that.”
I sighed, walking slowly toward her. My boots cracked the damaged platform tile with every step.
“You’re trying to seduce me.”
“Is it working?”
“…Shut up.”
She sat up, crossing her legs, chest out. The fake bra barely holding anything back now.
“I could sing your name,” she offered. “Make the whole stadium hear it. Maybe if you’re lucky… I’ll scream it.”
I paused.
The entire crowd inhaled at once.
Some dude screamed, “I VOLUNTEER TO SWITCH PLACES!”
Someone else yelled, “FIGHT BACK, MINION E! USE SEXUAL TENSION!”
I slammed the whip once again onto the platform.
“Lady,” I growled. “You keep talking like that, and I’ll—”
“What?” she whispered, standing now, hips swaying like they were sculpted for sinful thoughts. Her voice dripped in that smoky, teasing tone. “You’ll moan?”
Okay.
That’s it.
Next round.
I’m crushing that rune.
