[Age Of Apocalypse] – Jean Meets Scott And Realizes The Truth

Jean stared at the boy's face and couldn't help but blush as she thought, 'He's so cute and handso-... No, Jean, stop. Don't think of him like that. You barely know him.'

"Umm, a-are you going to take the c-comic?" The boy asked, bringing her out of her thoughts.

"N-No, you can have it," Jean replied with a shake of her head, "I was just looking for the next issue."

"A-Are you sure?" He asked, "Y-You can have it. I was curious what it was. I didn't want it. You can take it if you want."

"No, you can take it," Jean pushed the comic book towards him, "It was yours first. You can take it. I'll just look for the next issue."

"No," he gave her the book and smiled, "You can have it. I was curious, so I checked it. You can take it."

Jean stared at his smile and thought, 'H-He's so handsome and c-cute. I-I want to ask if he's single. I want to ask him his name. I... need to take this chance.'

She blushed and took the comic book from him while meekly saying, "T-Thank you."

"W-Welcome," The boy replied.

"A-A-Are you alright?" He asked nervously, noticing her blushing, and asked, "Y-Your face is all red."

"What," Jean exclaimed in surprise and embarrassment and felt her cheeks burn even more and said, "Oh, yes, I'm fine."

Her heart pounded in her chest, and she took a deep breath and thought, 'I'm going to ask him. I can do this!!'

Jean looked at him and asked, "Are you new here?"

"N-No-, I mean, y-y-yes," He stammered and corrected himself, "Yes, I'm new here."

"O-Okay," Jean nodded and asked, "W-What's your name?"

"Scott Summers," The boy, Scott, replied and asked, "W-What about you?"

"J-Jean Grey," Jean introduced herself.

"I-It's nice t-to meet you, J-Jean," Scott said. Jean noticed him looking down at her lips, and he asked, "Can you show me around the school?"

'YES!' Jean internally screamed in joy but, on the outside, replied, "Of course!'She showed him around the school. She showed him the classes, the labs, the training rooms, and the basketball court. Finally, they reached the garden.

"This place is amazing," Scott said, looking around, "This place is lovely. I've never seen a garden like this."

"Yes," Jean replied, "I like it here, too."

They sat on a bench near a water fountain, and Jean asked, "Are you related to Alex Summers in any way? Because the last time I checked, Alex's brother was living somewhere else."

"He's my brother," Scott replied.

"What?!" Jean was shocked, "So, you're my science teacher's brother."

"He teaches science?!" Scott exclaimed.

"Yeah," Jean nodded.

Scott laughed and said, "Back home, I pestered him every second about what he does here, but he never told me. So, what else does he teach?"

"He also teaches gym," Jean answered.

"Seriously?" Scott asked.

Jean nodded and replied, "Yes."

Scott glanced at the comic in her hand and asked, "You like comics? Which one's your favorite?"

"Oh, this," Jean replied, holding the comic up, "I-I really like these."

"Really?" Scott said excitedly, "I like them too."

"Who's your favorite superhero?" He asked.

"W-Well," Jean thought and said, "I don't have a favorite superhero. B-But if I were to choose one, I would say... "

Just like that, they began talking about superheroes and comics, and they didn't realize that the topic had shifted to general affairs, then their likes and dislikes, and other stuff. They didn't know how, but they told each other their stories. They talked continuously for half an hour when suddenly, a girl walked up to them and called, "Jean?"

Jean was surprised to see one of her classmates walking up to them, and she asked, "Hey, Ro. What's up?"

"Ms. Salvadore wants you in the lab," Ro replied, "In half an hour."

"Oh," Jean exclaimed in surprise and disappointment. She had really been enjoying her time with Scott.

Ro noticed the expression on her face and said, "You should hurry. You don't want to keep Ms. Salvadore waiting."

"Oh, yeah," Jean nodded, and Ro walked away.

She looked at Scott's red glasses and asked, "Don't you have a problem with the red color of your glasses?"

"N-No," Scott replied, "Not really."

"Why are you wearing them anyway?" Jean asked.

"Because if I don't, my eyes will shoot out beams," Scott answered.

"Wait, what? Your eyes?" Jean exclaimed in surprise, "Are you serious?"

"Yes," Scott nodded and explained, "That's my power."

"What is yours?', He asked, curious.

"Oh!" Jean smiled and replied, "I can read people's th–"

She stopped when she noticed him staring behind her and turned her head to look at what he was staring at. What she saw made her eyes widen in anger.

'It's the fucking attention whore!' Jean screamed internally in anger upon seeing Emma Frost walking toward them. 'This whore wants attention from everybody, even the male teachers. She's a fucking slut! A cheap slut!'

Emma wore a low-cut crop top which put her big boobs on display, and a short skirt that barely covered her ass. She was flaunting her body and acting seductively to gain the attention of the students walking by. And she was getting it. The boys and some girls stared at her lustfully as she walked by them.

When Emma approached them, she ignored Jean and asked, "Hello, there. My name is Emma Frost. What's yours?"

"S-S-Scott," Scott replied, blushing.

"Scott, huh?" Emma said, and leaned forward, giving Scott a nice view of her cleavage, and continued, "You're a handsome guy. I bet the girls here must be going crazy for you."

"T-Thanks," Scott said, trying his best not to stare at her cleavage.

"You have such a cute stutter," Emma giggled and asked, "Do you mind if I call you Scotty?"

"N-No," Scott answered, and Emma grinned and said, "Good. Anyway, I've gotta go, Scotty. I have a class. But I'm sure we'll meet again."

Emma walked away, swaying her hips and leaving Scott in a daze. Jean was staring at her with angry and annoyed eyes. She couldn't believe the bitch was doing this again. She couldn't think she was trying to get her claws into another guy.

She glanced at Scott's expression and clenched her fists, 'That fucking slut is trying to take him away from me!!!'

"Scott!" She said, snapping him out of his daze.

"Huh?" He looked at her, and she asked, "Do you have a crush on Emma?"

"N-No, I don't," Scott replied, looking at her with an embarrassed look and explaining, "I-It's just that I-I've never been with a girl like that before."

"That's not the point, Scott," Jean shook her head and glared at him, "I'll repeat this. Do you have a crush on Emma Frost?"

"No, I don't," Scott denied, "I only think that she's beautiful. Nothing else."

"Alright," Jean said, satisfied.

"Anyway, I.. um... I like you more than Emma," Scott said with a shy smile and an embarrassed tone.

"I-I mean," He explained, "I like your personality more than hers. And you're beautiful."

"You think so?" Jean asked as her heart sped up.

"Y-Yes," Scott nodded, still blushing.

'YES! YES! YES!' Jean screamed internally in joy while blushing hard outside.

'But..' She thought about her last friend who took advantage of her and thought, 'Maybe... I should check whether he really means what he says. I'm bad. No! I just.. don't want another person to play with my heart. Not after that incident. Not again.'

"You're much cuter. And, I..." Scott talked about how Jean was better than Emma.

Jean, however, concentrated her powers on Scott, and when she read his thoughts, she wasn't blushing anymore. She was disgusted by what she saw.

'What the fuck?!!!' Jean exclaimed mentally in disgust. She was horrified at what she had seen. He was mentally drooling over Emma. He imagined Emma naked and lying on a bed with her legs spread. She could see him naked and hovering over her. He was thinking about the various ways he wanted to fuck her, and he was imagining him pounding his cock into her. He was imagining him cumming inside of her.

'I can't believe him. He's disgusting!' She thought angrily and looked at his regular expression while explaining how she was much more beautiful than Emma. She looked at his face and realized he wasn't as cute and handsome as before. 'What a fucker! On the outside, he's telling me how beautiful I am, whereas, on the inside, he's mentally fucking Emma! He's a fucking liar! Thank god, I checked his thoughts. I saved myself from being played. I've gotta go. I can't stand this motherfucker!'

She looked at her nonexistent watch and then back at him and said with a normal smile, "I'm sorry, Scott. But it's getting late, and I've got to go, or else Ms. Salvadore will scold me."

"It's okay," Scott said, "Maybe we could meet some other time."

"Maybe," Jean lied and smiled at him.

"Well, it was nice meeting you, Scott," She picked up her comic and left.

While walking away, a seed of anger sprouted up in her heart against Scott as she clenched her fists and thought, 'I fucking this shit! Every fucking time I think a person is being genuine with me, I am proven wrong. Again and again. Ever since I got these powers, I began to see the real faces of people. They are fucking hypocrites and liars. They lie so easily. What they think and the words that come from their mouth are entirely different. I fucking hate it! I fucking hate people like Scott!'
