Battle of Multiverse Part 20

————————

"Hey, Luffy! Although you still call it a Gomu Gomu No Mi, it's truly a Hito Hito No Mi Model: Nika."

"But Liam, I can't call it my moves Nika Nika! That sounds strange."

"Tsk! Do you have to add Gomu Gomu or Nika Nika in front of your attacks? Why can't you just call it White Star Barrage or White Star Dawn Fist?"

"Hmm! I don't know. Maybe if I never use my Devil Fruit for my attack, I will call them without adding Gomu Gomu."

[Super Dawn Fist]

Luffy shouted, his physical strength erupting like a volcano, turning his fist red-hot as he punched Naruto's fist.

Their collision was intense. Luffy's fist felt like a heavy mountain pressed against his body, but even so, Naruto was calmly able to counter him.

Though he couldn't help but feel embarrassed fighting Luffy. Unlike Luffy, his named attacks were mostly Rasengan or variants of Rasengan.

Although his Taijutsu also had special moves, he usually wouldn't name every punch he threw.

For a ninja, that would be too shameful.

Their fighting style was also vastly different.

Luffy would throw one hundred percent of his strength into every one of his attacks, while Naruto would constantly increase and decrease the flow of Chakra.

'Thankfully! My Chakra recovers quite easily here; otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to hold on for this long.'

Naruto thought to himself as he blocked Luffy's punch, caught his fist, pulled him closer, and kicked him in the guts.

Luffy stumbled back but quickly got up, only to exert too much force on his joints, making his movements awkward.

"It seems like he hasn't adapted to not using his Devil Fruit powers. They are quite weird, aren't they, Naruto?"

Kurama spoke.

"Hmm! Gaining the ability to turn into rubber or lightning or create flower petals that can bloom into physical body parts is quite ridiculous."

"Normally, people like Raikage would take decades of training to reach the speed of lightning."

"But that guy with curly brows' starting point is the speed of lightning. That means if he gets stronger, he can easily surpass the speed of light."

Naruto answered.

"That being said, that brat said there can never be two of the same fruits in their world. This means there is much more chaos."

Hearing that, Naruto nodded.

"In our world, every Kage of the village restricts the outflow of Jutsu. Only the Jonin or family members are allowed to teach their Jutsu to others."

"And considering the importance of the clan techniques, a clan Jonin will never pass down his technique to outsiders."

"Even the Third Hokage wasn't able to use the family Jutsu in the battle despite knowing all of them."

"But in their world, they can simply eat a fruit and gain power comparable to, if not greater than, some of the Kekkei Genkai and Forbidden Techniques."

At this moment, Kurama interrupted him.

"Are you just going to let him adapt to his new power and loss of the previous one?"

Naruto nodded.

"Yeah! Truthfully, his sacrificing his power just for a temporary boost feels similar to Guy Sensei burning his youth to buy us a few minutes."

"Although I want to resurrect my parents, I don't mind losing this battle."

Hearing his words, Kurama chuckled.

"You are always like this, always thinking of someone else."

Naruto showed a trace of sadness in his eyes.

"I don't know, Kurama. If I can, I just want to go back in the past and save those people. But I also know doing this will not help us."

"Our enemies have always been Otsutsuki. Pain, Obito, and Madara are the reason why Sasuke and I got strong enough to fight them."

"But you saw what happened. Sasuke and I were unable to do anything against Isshiki. Even that brat Kawaki was able to seal Hinata and me."

"If you don't have the reaction speed of Sage Mode, you can't even dodge their attacks."

Hearing that, Kurama snorted.

"It's that bastard Hokage's fault for not giving you the legacy of your parents. If you had trained in Flying Thunder God Jutsu, your reaction speed would've increased massively."

A sneer appeared on Kurama's face as he continued.

"Do you really think you don't possess the talent like your father? That's some bullshit. Just because you possess Kushina's temper doesn't mean you lack Minato's talent."

"Enough, Kurama!"

Naruto shouted.

Although he knew this was true, he didn't want to continue listening to it. Because he couldn't change anything.

Unless his parents were alive during that time, he wouldn't be able to change anything.

Without his parents, nobody would come and help him in his studies. He would still waste his time trying to get adults' attention.

He knew his father wasn't like that. Because of his orphan status and a strong desire to get stronger, he had truly pushed his knowledge to its limits.

Learning Sealing Jutsu, Chakra Nature, and Shape Transformation before even graduating.

After his graduation, he was able to access Flying Thunder God Jutsu thanks to Jiraiya and learn it.

Then, after seeing the devastating power of the Tailed Beast Ball, he was able to create Rasengan.

On the other hand, his son Boruto grew up under the care of his mother, Hinata. Knowing Naruto's past, she did her best to take care of her children.

Boruto grew up being spoiled, but he did learn a lot of things. From normal education to knowledge about Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, and Genjutsu, he learned everything.

Even before his Graduation, he had already learned Water Release, Lightning Release, and Wind Release.

After his graduation, he not only learned Rasengan but also managed to infuse Lightning Release into his Rasengan.

Then, there was also the fact that he made Wind Release- Rasengan, Compressed Rasengan, and Super Compressed Rasengan.

After three years, he not only created his own version of the Flying Thunder God Jutsu but also developed a powerful Rasengan.

Although Kurama didn't know its full power since he was inside Himawari and Himawari was fighting Jura, he still knew its accomplishment.

Being able to one-shot Hidari just like how Naruto one-shot Kakuzu after learning Rasenshuriken.

The problem was that Hidari was at least fifty to a hundred times stronger than Kakuzu.

All three generations possessed incredible talents, but only Boruto didn't have a limit.

Naruto's limit was that he couldn't produce Otsutsuki Chakra. That meant he couldn't produce Six Paths Senjutsu.

Since he didn't learn Flying Thunder God Jutsu or train properly in his childhood, most of his strength came from the boosts.

Minato's limit was Kage Level. That's because his Chakra Reserve was limited. That's why he sealed the Nine-Tails inside his son.

Kushina might have been a Jinchuriki, but she spent most of her time suppressing Kurama's Chakra.

So, she never received the Chakra from the Nine-Tails, which meant her reserves were also limited.

Minato was able to fix this by using the Reaper Death Seal and the Eight Trigram Seal.

The main part was still the Eight Trigram Seal that allowed Naruto to receive Kurama's Chakra slowly.

Boruto didn't receive these kinds of benefits, but after becoming a full-blooded Otsutsuki, his upper limits increased beyond Naruto's.

Not only does his body produce Otsutsuki Chakra, but he also has the talent of Minato (Naruto).

If he learned Sage Mode, Boruto would be able to create Six Paths Senjutsu at any moment.

Unfortunately, Naruto wasn't there to teach him.

So, he wanted to resurrect his parents.

Although there was a chance that Ada's Shinjutsu could affect his parents, there was also a chance that it wouldn't.

Because they would be resurrected by this mysterious place.

"Thank you!"

Luffy's voice brought Naruto to his senses.

When Naruto looked forward, he saw Luffy standing with a bright smile on his face.

For the first time in his life, Naruto felt like he should be more selfish.

He truly wanted to smile like that. Not by hiding the sadness in his heart but by fully embracing the good things in his life.

"Kurama, let's do our best!"

Naruto muttered as he clenched his right fist and slammed it into his left palm.

"Now you are talking! Let's show him our bond, Naruto!"

Kurama couldn't help but get excited. The memories of the Fourth Great Ninja War rang in his head.

At this moment, the Chakra of the Baryon Mode erupted like a hurricane, creating nine golden fox tails behind Naruto.

At the same time, black markings appeared around his eyes, and his pupils turned fox-like.

"I want to bring back Liam."

Luffy spoke. His body began to grow rapidly.

The power of Life Return began to change his body into something else.

His muscles became more muscular, the Haki patterns appeared over his body, and his skin turned red.

"I lost my Devil Fruit, but thanks to Liam, I know exactly what I need to do. To defeat you, I will use this power. This is my enlightenment."

[Gear Second- Martial God Form]

Naruto stared at his new form, and a smirk appeared on his lips. He raised his right hand and moved his four fingers.

"Come on, Luffy! I will show you true enlightenment."
