Battle of Multiverse Part 3

At this moment, both Sakura and Robin found something problematic in their strategies.

No matter how hard they planned, they both had a counter to each other.

Sakura could heal any injuries that Robin could inflict on her, and she could simply use shadow clones to create a distraction.

Although she was only using one, it was more than enough to fool Robin’s Observation Haki.

Robin could sense intent, attacks, and even life force to a certain degree, but her Observation Haki wasn’t like a radar.

If someone could hide their presence, they could easily dodge her Observation Haki.

As a ninja, Sakura had amazing aura-hiding capabilities.

But at the same time, Sakura couldn’t inflict much damage on Robin. Not only because of her long-distance battle ability, but also due to her Haki.

Both Observation Haki and Armament Haki could make her attacks ineffective.

Originally, this battle was supposed to be easy for Robin. Even she could see that.

But she made it harder because she tried defeat Sakura quickly. Sakura had a very low Chakra Reserve.

The fact that she would only create one clone when she could have created multiple showed just how weak her Chakra Reserves were.

With her Observation Haki, she could sense Sakura’s Chakra growing weaker and weaker.

She originally planned to defeat Sakura instantly so that she could go and support Luffy.

But now it wasn’t so easy. She tried hard but also got some damage during the battle.

Robin was huffing on the side while clutching a wound on her stomach. This was caused by Sakura’s kunai.

On the other hand, Sakura had one of her arms twisted. She was fixing it while keeping her eyes on Robin.

Their stalemate didn’t last long as Robin understood the importance of this battle and dashed towards Sakura.

She had created several tissues using her Devil Fruit powers over her wound. While it couldn’t replace her real body, it could create a blockade.

And that’s all she needed.

Crack!

Sakura quickly fixed her arm and channeled her Chakra into her fist. She was gritting her teeth as she didn’t even get a chance to recover.

She channeled Chakra into her feet and instantly dashed towards Robin. She didn’t use any sort of illusions, as they didn’t work against her.

She simply clenched her fist, smashed the ground, and picked up a large rock. She divided that rock into different pieces and threw them towards Robin.

Seeing this, Robin narrowed her eyes and coated her arm with Armament Haki. She simply punched straight, destroying the first stone before kicking another.

She continued destroying those stones and ignoring the ones that didn’t target her.

Her Observation Haki sensed Sakura’s presence, so she created two large fists above her.

Coating her fists with Armament Haki.

[Giganto Elephant Gun]

She smashed her fist towards Sakura, who couldn’t dodge this attack. Because this was controlled by Robin from afar, she had no choice but to break it.

Otherwise, these fists would chase her.

She channeled a lot of Chakra into her fist and punched the giant fist. Their collision created a massive shockwave that shattered the ground.

Sakura saw another fist coming her way and gritted her teeth. She couldn’t even break this fist. How was she supposed to fight and destroy another?

More importantly, she was losing too much Chakra. If this continued, she would run out of chakra before the battle even ended.

But she still gathered Chakra into her other fist and punched.

With her right fist blocking the fist from above and her left fist blocking the fist from the side, there was a stalemate.

Unfortunately, it didn’t last long as Robin exerted even more force into her giant’s fists, trying to break Sakura’s tiny arms.

And, she was getting successful at it.

Sakura had great explosive power. If she concentrated all of that power into one punch, she could even shatter a large warship.

But she had one major weakness. Her body was far too weak.

Even Robin noticed this after their battle. While Sakura could output a lot of damage, she wasn’t good at tanking.

That’s why Robin was getting impatient.

She was fighting someone whose energy was limited, had a weak body, and could barely dodge her attacks.

Despite that, she couldn’t finish this battle with ease.

This frustrated her even more, making her lose focus and her Observation Haki.

Even she didn’t realize that due to her love for Luffy, her brain wasn’t functioning properly. Otherwise, she would’ve easily won this battle.

It was only after she got stabbed by Sakura’s kunai that her mind cleared.

Right now, she knew what she needed to do.

While exerting more pressure with her giant fists, she also created another clone of herself.

The clone immediately released Armament Haki, coating her fist as she punched Sakura from behind.

This instantly made Sakura lose her balance as she flew towards the fist coming from her side.

Bang!

The collision shattered her jaw and smashed her hundreds of meters away. Her body fumbled on the ground several times before coming to a stop.

At this moment, Sakura was coughing blood while being covered in bruises and wounds.

Blood was leaking from all over her body.

She was desperately using her Mystical Palm Jutsu to heal her body, but while doing so, her reserves were going down massively.

At this moment, a flash of orange light appeared next to her.

“Sorry, Sakura-chan! I can’t help you fight, but I can do this.”

He exited his Baryon Mode and placed his hand on her shoulder. A stream of chakra flowed into her body, which surprised Sakura.

“You are really Naruto?”

Sakura’s eyes widened when she saw a middle-aged version of Naruto.

Naruto gave her a gentle smile and said.

“Yes, I am Naruto, but it seems like we come from different time points. I have refilled your Chakra and given you a boost.”

“I think this will be enough to fill your Strength of the Hundred Seal. You should be able to fight her on equal ground now.”

He said as he stood up and turned around.

Sakura was still amazed at what Naruto just did. He passed his Chakra into her and refilled her Strength of a Hundred Seal.

Touching the diamond mark on her forehead, she couldn’t help but feel amazed.

Just when he was about leave, Naruto paused and turned back.

“Sakura, do you think if we return, we will keep our memories?”

“Huh? I..I’m not sure.”

Sakura was startled by his question.

At this moment, Robin didn’t interfere, knowing she couldn’t kill Sakura in Naruto’s presence.

But she wasn’t worried about him staying here for long. Because she could feel this person’s aura to be similar to Sakura’s clone.

Although it was more refined and powerful, it was probably a clone.

It only took Naruto a few seconds to come to a realization, but inside his mind, he was talking to Kurama for a long time.

“Do you think we can influence the past, Kurama?”

“I’m not sure, Naruto. This is well beyond my comprehension. I am entirely made out of Chakra, so when we use Baryon Mode, I should die immediately.”

“But no matter how long you use Baryon Mode, nothing changes. I can feel my Chakra colliding with yours, but it’s like our body resets every five seconds.”

“And, the main strength of Baryon Mode is to shelve others’ lifespan by connecting with them through Chakra.”

“That rubber man didn’t have Chakra. Normally, this move shouldn’t do anything to him.”

“But, when he lost concentration for a split second and didn’t use that black armor, he lost a few days of his life force.”

“So, we are dealing with something that literally breaks the fundamental rules of our world. So, there is a chance that we can influence the past.”

“The question is, can we create a better future?”

At this moment, Naruto clenched his fist.

He was terrified of this choice, but if this choice was made, there was a chance, a small chance, something so minuscule that it could be ignored.

But it was enough to save his teacher.

Not just his teachers but also many of his close friends’ parents.

But he was afraid of one thing.

He was kind of an idiot in the past. He was worried that he would only make things worse.

Kurama saw his self-doubt and grinned.

“Why are you hesitating so much, Naruto? Did you forget you still have me?”

“I might not have opened my heart during that time period, but no one understands me better than me.”

“Believe me, he will help you.”

Naruto released his fist and nodded.

“You are right. Besides, I should trust myself more. Although I was kinda of an idiot and reckless, I also understood the importance of peace.”

“Me from the past will not make things worse. He will understand my choice. Let’s do it, Kurama!”
