Battle of Marineford Part 1
Nobody expected this level of Conqueror.
Only a few people had the luxury of seeing this kind of Conqueror.
Those who fought Roger and those who had fought Shanks.
Perhaps there was Rocks D Xebec! But people who knew him selectively chose to ignore him.
The level of Conqueror Haki that Luffy showed didn't just cover the entire Marineford.
It suppressed the Haki of Garp and Sengoku.
Of course, it was also because their ideologies conflicted with each other.
Even if they were friends, Sengoku would do anything to appease the World Government, while Garp would only help the Marines and civilians.
Normally, it wasn't possible to merge two Conqueror Haki into one.
Straw Hats were an exception because their Haki was born out of necessity and their desire to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with each other.
So, when Garp and Sengoku released their Haki, it was a three-way collision between Conqueror Haki.
But Garp and Sengoku were actively trying to shield their marines from the impact of Luffy's Conqueror Haki.
So, when it came to collision, it was a three-way deadlock, but in terms of protection, it was two against one.
More importantly, Sengoku and Garp were trying to save little people, weaker ones whose overwhelming number could help them continue this battle.
As for the Rear Admirals and Vice Admirals, they weren't protected by Garp and Sengoku, which brought even more pressure on them.
Even some of the Devil Fruit users were forced out of their Devil Fruit form, but Vice Admirals managed to stand while Rear Admirals fell.
But the Warlords were surprised the most.
Especially Mihawk, Hancock, and Moria.
Doflamingo was fuming. Behind those sunglasses, his eyes showed a look of fear, the look that he only had against the likes of Kaido.
On the other hand, Kuma couldn't feel anything.
Mihawk knew the Straw Hats and met them at the start of their journey. So, he couldn't fathom how Straw Hat got so strong in such a short time.
Hancock had met with Luffy's Conqueror. She knew its strength. It was even weaker than hers.
So, she didn't understand how it could grow so much stronger in just a few days.
Conqueror Haki wasn't something that could be trained to grow. It would grow with the mentality of a person.
Only Moria was dumbfounded.
He had fought Straw Hat before. He almost defeated them. But now sensing Luffy's Conqueror, he was reminded of Kaido.
This almost made him so miserable that he wanted to cry.
Whitebeard Pirates mostly showed shock and disbelief. Because this kind of Haki was only accessible to some, like Red Hair Shanks.
Even Whitebeard in his prime didn't have a Conqueror Haki like this.
He did have a Conqueror Haki, had learned Advanced Conqueror, but it wasn't as powerful as this.
Luffy's Conqueror Haki was the culmination of two Luffy's desire to save Ace and their strong belief in saving Ace.
What Luffy didn't realize was that this Haki was going to be extremely important for him in the future.
Boom!
After ten seconds, his Conqueror Haki vanished alongside Garp's and Sengoku's Haki.
Thud! Thud! Thud! Thud! Thud! Thud!
Tens of thousands of marines fell on the spot.
Suddenly, a bright yellow light shone in the sky. Before they could raise their heads, they saw a man standing in the sky with both of his hands crossed.
[Yasakani No Magatama]
Several large light particles were formed in front of him, and these particles traveled towards Luffy at an incredible speed.
Even Marco and Whitebeard were caught off guard. But they were still ready to face it.
Only they didn't get that chance.
When the desire to save Ace became stronger.
This world's Luffy's memories began to appear in his head.
Luffy realized just how big the gap was between this world's Luffy and the top-class powerhouses involved in this war.
Even so, neither of the Luffys feared anything.
They wanted to save Ace under any condition. That's what changed Luffy's mind to save Ace.
He realized that as long as he was strong enough, he could save Ace and Ace's family.
That desire to grow stronger and unwavering faith in himself merged this world's Luffy's Conqueror with the other world's Luffy's Conqueror.
The process accelerated the improvement of his Conqueror Haki.
It wasn't like adding two people's Conqueror Haki.
This world's Luffy's Haki was as weak as Sanji' from his world, but even so, it managed to push Luffy's Haki to a completely different level.
Because it acted as a catalyst.
The true reason for his Haki growth was his desire to save Ace and his family.
Whoosh!
In an instant, Luffy disappeared in front of Whitebeard and appeared in the sky.
His Observation Haki had already sensed Kizaru's attack.
When Kizaru made his move, Luffy appeared in front of him and simply punched his way through those laser beams.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
Coating his body with Armament Haki, he was fully able to withstand the explosion.
But he did this to get closer to Kizaru.
The difference between the Admiral wasn't their strength but their specialities.
Kuzan was physically strong like Liam, but he lacked Conqueror Haki. So, he compensated for his fighting style with his Devil Fruit and strong Haki.
Sakazuki had an extremely overpowered Devil Fruit. So, he simply focused on his physical strength and Haki. Instead of creating fancy attacks, he just smashed his Magma fist into his opponent.
Kizaru had overwhelming speed. This was his specialty, making it almost impossible to hit him unless he was caught off guard.
Unlike Kuzan or Sakazuki, who relied on their two colors of Haki during battle, Kizaru solely relied on his Devil Fruit abilities.
Luffy had fought all three admirals, so his tactic was simple.
The moment he passed through a barrage of laser beams, before Kizaru could react, Luffy coated his fist with Armament Haki.
A smile appeared on his face as he grabbed Kizaru by his face. For a moment, Kizaru was reminded of Garp as he tried struggling.
But Luffy released his strong Conqueror Haki and made him unable to activate his Devil Fruit.
[Blue Hole]
He slammed Kizaru towards the sea, and he threw him with so much force that it was almost impossible for Kizaru to escape.
Whoosh!
[Ice Age]
Suddenly, a figure disappeared from the chair.
K-reek! Sssnnnnnn!
Aokiji appeared on top of the sea and released his Devil Fruit ability at an extreme pace.
In an instant, the entire sea area within the Marineford and even outside the Marineford froze into ice.
If Kizaru were sent inside the water in the middle of battle, their Marines would be a joke.
Sea water wouldn't eliminate his Devil Fruit, but it would weaken it to a great degree.
Especially someone like Kizaru, who focused too much on his Devil Fruit.
Bang!
Kizaru crashed into the ice and broke through several layers of ice until he reached the very bottom.
Fortunately, when he slowed down, he instantly turned himself into light and flew away.
He reappeared next to Aokiji.
"That was very unexpected. Don't you think it was very similar?"
Borsalino had a trace of blood flowing from the corner of his mouth. More importantly, he had several bruises all over his body.
His perfectly clean clothes were dirty.
"Garp!"
Sengoku roared when he saw that similar attack.
When he saw this attack used against his comrade, he instantly put the blame on Garp for teaching Luffy this move.
"No, no, I didn't. Don't talk nonsense."
Garp hurriedly shook his hands and tried to throw away the blame, but everyone gave him a weird look.
After all, it was hard to believe in him, especially since Luffy was his grandson and Ace was Luffy's brother.
That meant Ace was also Garp's grandson, which almost made everyone doubt the authenticity of this war.
Sengoku also saw the reactions of the Marines and quickly decided to separate Ace and Luffy.
He held the microphone and shouted.
"Everyone, don't mistake Monkey D Luffy as a newcomer. While he might only have a measly bounty of three hundred million berries, his strength is not under any of the Yonko."
"Not to mention, he is the son of the World's Worst Criminal: Revolutionary Dragon. He has become a brother with Portgas D Ace during his childhood. Do everything you can to stop him!"
His words cleared a lot of misunderstandings, but they also brought more fear into the hearts of the Marines.
That was the Dragon of the Revolutionary!
The World's Worst Criminal!
The man who directly opposed and fought the World Government. Even if there wasn't any big battle, the fact that he did that alone puts him above most pirates.
Thud!
Luffy also landed on the ground, next to the crater where Kizaru fell. He clenched his fists and put them together in front of his chest.
He looked at the entirety of the Marineford, alone but full of courage, and said.
"Let's continue, Marines!"
