Luffy’s Journey in Impel Down Part 24
"So, Zehahaha! That's right, Straw Hat! If we are evil, then the World Government is the greatest evil."
When Blackbeard heard Luffy's words, he was stunned for a moment. But then, he laughed.
He agreed. He was truly astounded by Luffy's words, and they meant a lot to him.
"Even so, you truly pissed me off, Blackbeard."
Luffy raised his hand and narrowed his eyes.
Before Blackbeard Observation Haki could sense him, Luffy reached in front of him and clenched his fist.
The Armament Coating appeared on his fist, followed by a powerful Conqueror Haki.
The next moment, his hand suddenly bulged, expanding into a gigantic fist. Combined with two colors of Haki, Luffy punched Blackbeard on the face.
[Gomu Gomu No]
[Roc Gun]
Bang!
The Blackbeard was able to cover his body with Armament Haki and his Devil Fruit powers in the last minute, but even so, he was cooked.
The power behind Luffy's punch shattered the bones in his cheeks. The force behind his punch was so strong that it sent him flying across the room.
Bang! Bang! Thud!
Blackbeard crashed against the walls several times before coming to a stop. His body fell on the ground as he started coughing up blood.
"Argh! Damn it, Straw Hat!"
Blackbeard was feeling hopelessly lost. That power almost broke his head. Fortunately, he didn't waste twenty years of his life in the Whitebeard Pirates.
Although he wasn't a master at Armament Haki and Observation, he was good at it.
The moment that punch reached him, he instinctively covered his body with Armament Haki and his Devil Fruit powers.
"If I weren't in a hurry, you would be dead, Blackbeard."
Luffy landed on the ground and turned toward Blackbeard. His eyes showed a strong anger and hatred, but also a strange calmness.
At this moment, a loud voice broke the strange silence.
"Magellan is here!"
A large amount of poison was affecting almost everyone in the vicinity.
Seeing this, Ivankov shouted.
"Straw Boy, we need to leave immediately. Magellan's poison is too much even for us."
"Blackbeard has already eliminated the troops guarding the stairs. We just need to run."
Jinbei spoke.
His eyes were on Luffy.
Although he had seen this man's Conqueror Haki, it was only this time that he had seen such an attack.
The attack that only someone like Whitebeard could use.
But how old was Luffy? How could he use something like that?
Jinbei was confused, but he didn't ask. He knew this was Ace's brother's secret.
"You are right."
Luffy nodded and ignored Blackbeard. Then, they ran towards the stairs.
"Chief Magellan! Hurry to the Stairway to Level Three! It seems that Blackbeard has appeared there as well."
Magellan shouted.
"I sent Shiryuu to deal with Blackbeard… Was he defeated?"
Magellan asked.
"This is the Monitoring Room!"
The transponder snail on the soldier's hand spoke.
"What's wrong?" Magellan asked.
"It's terrible! The giant Den-Den Mushi responsible for visual reception has been taken out. The monitor system for the entire jail is down. On top of that, all lines of communication with Marine HQ and the Government have been cut!"
"We have no way of communicating with the outside!!!"
At this moment, Shiryuu was standing next to the corpses as he listened to the transponder snail's voice.
"Hey, what's wrong? What's going on over there? Who is responsible for all this?"
Shiryuu spoke.
"Don't go tattling to your superior. You trying to bring Magellan down here?"
While Magellan and the soldiers were running, they continued to communicate.
"We've lost communication."
Hearing that, Magellan ordered.
"Send somebody down there to investigate! Things aren't looking good here either! If Blackbeard has reached this floor, then he must have torn open the door to Level Two on his way down."
"Just how many things can go wrong? We let a single intruder slip through our defenses and look where we've ended up!"
Magellan was sweating as he said that.
Soon, he reached Level There, where he saw Blackbeard's group.
"Zehahaha! So, you're Magellan, are you?"
Blackbeard asked.
"Blackbeard!" Magellan's body began to be covered with poison.
"Damn right I am!"
Blackbeard shouted.
[Hydra]
Magellan released a massive amount of poison and turned it into a three-headed dragon that rushed forward and covered the Blackbeard Pirates.
"Aaghhhh! The painnnnnn!"
Blackbeard screamed.
"I have no time to waste asking why you are here!"
Magellan walked up to his vice chief and said.
"Hannyabal! Well done for holding out on this for so long! I leave this place to you. Don't go dying on me! You're the only successor I have."
Magellan turned his attention towards the crowd that was running away and roared.
"Straw Hat!"
"I will never let you leave this place alive."
Hearing this voice, Luffy paused for a moment and stopped.
"Hey, we need to leave. We can't stay here."
Jinbei shouted when he saw Luffy stop.
"Jinbei, Iva, Crocodile, Bullet, there must be a marine ship outside. Get it ready! I will find you in a short moment."
Luffy spoke as he stood behind.
"Hehehe! Don't die here, Straw Hat!"
Bullet chuckled and walked away. He knew Luffy wasn't weak enough to die here, but he was curious how Luffy was going to deal with Magellan.
The most annoying thing about Magellan was his Devil Fruit.
Jinbei stood for a moment before nodding his head and leaving.
On the other hand, Ivankov and Crocodile understood his intention and left immediately.
Ivankov knew Luffy was strong, but he was still hesitant about leaving him behind to face Magellan alone.
After all, this guy almost killed Luffy before.
"You shouldn't have come."
Luffy turned his gaze towards Magellan, who was using his poison to kill as many escapees as possible.
Magellan saw his gaze and continued speaking.
"You can't change anything, Straw Hat. You might be strong. You have become stronger than a Marine Admiral. But what you are challenging is the World Government; it's the world."
"You will lose miserably."
Luffy rubbed his ear and said.
"Have you finished talking nonsense? Did you forget the beating I gave you last time?"
"Humph! Do you think I don't know your weakness? You came from the future. You might have impressive control over Haki, but you are still a newcomer."
"Your body is weak, Straw Hat. Your Haki is weak. Fleet Admiral Sengoku wanted to kill you in Marineford, but I will destroy you here for infiltrating Impel Down."
Hearing his words, Luffy was stunned.
Because he never expected Marines to figure it out in the wrong way. After all, he didn't come from the future.
But it's quite an excuse to explain his sudden growth in strength.
"You didn't save your brother before. You can't save him now. Straw Hat, feel the wraith of poison. Your brother is fated to die. You can't change your fate, Straw Hat!"
Magellan roared.
His words darkened Luffy's expression.
Because, to a certain degree, Magellan was right.
If it weren't for his current strength, he would have no way of saving Ace. But now, he had a chance of saving Ace.
Even if he had to reveal Gear Five, he would save Ace under any condition.
"You truly pissed me off, Magellan."
Luffy muttered as he covered his hand with Armament Haki and started blowing air into it.
The next moment, he transformed into Snakeman form.
[Poisonous Giant Spider: Hell's Judgement]
A gigantic red devil-like entity was formed out of his poison. It appeared above him and started mimicking every movement that Magellan made.
Dong!
Luffy entered Gear Fourth and rushed forward.
[Gomu Gomu No]
Luffy coated his fist with advanced Armament Haki and Conqueror Haki. He pushed his fist inside his hand as much as he could before launching it forward.
At the same time, he locked Magellan with his Future Sight and struck his fist from all directions.
Those fists collided on different parts of Level Three before rushing towards Magellan.
[Hydra]
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
Magellan covered his body with red poison and tried to deflect Luffy's attack with his poison, but he overestimated his poison.
Under the power of Luffy's overwhelming Haki, this time his poison did nothing. It was crushed by punches.
Upon destroying the giant poison, those punches gained enough momentum before they struck Magellan from all sides.
Bang!
Magellan felt his bones being crushed. His muscles twitched. His Devil Fruit collapses, and only his body remains standing.
'H..Ho..How did?'
He didn't understand.
He was truly confused, but more importantly, he was afraid of what Luffy could do in Marineford.
Despite his unwillingness to lose consciousness, he eventually closed his eyes and fell.
Thud!
"You might be right about my brother. Ace's death is a fate."
Luffy returned to his base form and stared at Magellan's fallen body. He was holding the straw hat as he turned around.
"But, I am going to change this so-called fate. If strength is what I need, I will not stop until I become strong enough to change this fate."
