Luffy’s Journey in Impel Down Part 13

"What are we going to do now?" Bon Clay turned toward Galdino and asked.

"We need to hide Magellan, take his form, and somehow find a way to cure his poison. We need antidotes."

Galdino replied with a serious expression.

Bon Clay nodded, took the form of Magellan, and went to find the medical room. Soon, he got the report from the doctor, which stunned him.

"Warden, it is not possible to cure him now. Your poison has penetrated deep into his body. More importantly, during the entire time he was fighting you, his body was consuming more and more poison."

"He is strong, so he didn't die immediately. At best, he can survive for three days." The medical unit soldier shook his head.

His expression showed no remorse for the death of a pirate.

"No, it can't be. This is a great pirate. Do you understand how much trouble we would be in if someone like him dies?"

"He was capable of fighting me for half an hour. This is not a supernova. This is more than that. We need to save him."

Bon Clay shouted.

Hearing that, the medical unit soldier panicked and said.

"The fact is, rash attempts to treat him would likely serve to hasten his death. I'm afraid there is simply no way to save his life. If you had stopped ten to fifteen minutes early, he might have survived."

Hearing that, Bon Clay clenched his fist, but he controlled his emotions so that the medical soldier wouldn't say anything.

After the medical soldier left, Bon Clay clutched his head and said.

"Damn it! We were too late. We should've come earlier."

Galdino bitterly smiled and said.

"Even if we could've done that, we wouldn't be able to fool Magellan. He is a Warden. He should know about your Devil fruit."

"If we want to leave, we need to hurry now. This is our only chance of survival."

Hearing that, Bon Clay roared.

"How can you betray him like that? We need to survive Straw Hat Chan."

Buggy shrugged his shoulders and said.

"Unless there is a miracle, we can't save him."

"Miracles?"

That word stuck with Bon Clay. He remembered something.

"Of course! Right here, win Impel Down… That person is being held captive! The Miracle Worker Okama Queen Iva-san!!!!!"

"Cases that doctors had abandoned as hopeless. Countries on the verge of death! The one said to be able to save anything and everything. The origin of the Salvation Legends… The Ultimate Star of the Okama World, Iva-san!"

Hearing his words, Buggy also realized the person whom Bon Clay was talking about.

But he didn't agree. He waved his hands and said.

"But, this is our only chance to leave. That person is on the Fifth Level, right? By the time we reach there and find him, Magellan would wake up and search for us."

"We will be doomed for sure. Galdino, we need to leave."

But Galdino didn't move. He clenched his fist and said.

"No, Buggy! I won't leave Straw Hat here to die."

Buggy's jaw almost dropped to the ground as he grabbed Galdino by his collar and shouted.

"What are you talking about? This is our moment. Magellan is done. Most of the jailers are down. We have already taken care of the Vice Warden. The torturer, Sadie, is fighting against other prisoners."

"This is a perfect chance for us to run away."

Hearing that, Galdino held Buggy's hand and threw him away. He conjured a bed made out of his wax and turned toward Buggy.

"When we faced Magellan, Straw Hat Boy had an easy chance to leave all of us and find his brother. He knew three of us would do our best to survive, which would buy him enough time to save his brother."

"Who is gonna stop him? Hannyabal? No one could stop him. The only one who has a chance is also being locked in the Sixth Floor. He didn't do it. He let us run away. He tried holding back Magellan until we had run away."

"Putting his life on the line. He didn't come here to save us. He came here to save his brother, but he almost gave up his life for us. Do you want to betray him after everything he did for us?"

Hearing his words, Bon Clay looked at Galdino with surprise.

He thought Galdino was almost the same as Buggy, both loved their lives more than anything else.

But Galdino understood the sacrifice of Straw Hat Chan, and he was trying to fulfill his duty.

Even Buggy felt ashamed of himself.

"You are right. We should help him."

Then, three of them made their way to Level Five.

"To Level Five, Warden?" The guard waiting in front of the gate asked.

"Yes, that's right. I mean to condemn these criminals to freezing penalty. Especially, this guy. I can't let him die so easily. The freezing temperature will keep him alive as the poison tortures him for a long time."

Magellan (Bon Clay) nodded and explained.

"Yes, sir!"

The guards excitedly opened the door for the Warden.

While walking down he stairs, he checked the list and was surprised to find Ivankov's name being crossed out.

"About this mark here… Has this prisoner been released?"

"Ah, Ivankov… Do you not remember, Chief? It was a few years ago now… This prisoner fell victim to that."

The guard answered.

"Of course that! I remember now. I'm sure we all know what that is, don't we? You there. Let's hear it!" Magellan nodded and pointed at another guard.

"We're in front of the prisoner." The guard reminded.

"It doesn't matter." Magellan waved his hand.

"It refers to the mysterious disappearance that occasionally occurs within Impel Down. Incidents that are clearly not cases of escape. Prisoners who have shown no sign of any movement suddenly disappear without any trace."

"The Demoning Away!"

"These incidents of people who would never be expected to disappear suddenly doing so are the cause of much fear. People say that they have been lured into the gates of hell itself."

"And, thus, the phenomenon has come to be known as 'Demoning Away.'

At this moment, Magellan's expression darkened, but he still kept his cool.

Soon, they reached the gates of the fifth level.

'So cold! And, the door's not even open yet.' Buggy started shivering.

Galdino also faced a similar situation.

'Even with all this clothing!!'

"Here we are. Be careful of the extreme temperature and the Wolf Unit, no! Well, then, I'll be taking your things as usual."

"Hm? What!"

At this moment, the guard smiled and said.

"Your weapons and coat, of course! I always think this, but you are truly an incredible person, Warden. You will be entering the Freezing Hell with next to nothing."

Hearing that, Bon Clay wanted to scold him, but remembered he was the warden. He shouldn't feel cold at all.

At this moment, Magellan, Buggy, and Galdino were left inside the prison with Straw Hat in a freezing hell.

"Aahhhh! So cold! It burns.. The chili burns!"

Buggy shivered and spoke.

He looked at the upcoming pack of wolves and muttered.

"One… Two… Three… four of them! You… don't think those could be the Wolf Unit, do you? I mean, you've heard why none of those beasts are stationed up on the Beast Floor, right?"

"No, why?" Magellan asked.

"Oh! I can answer that one! It's because when they tried posting them on Level Two, they went around eating basilisk and the sphinx and all other beasts!! They are absolutely brutal."

Galdino replied.

"Well, then, let us do battle with stout hearts! We're getting Straw Hat Chan out of here no matter what!!!"

Magellan roared.

"But we can't win against them."

"We're gonna get eaten."

Buggy and Galdino started crying. While their legs were shaking, they still didn't run immediately.

They were soon attacked by those wolves.

They were shredded by the power of those wolves.

'No, if we leave, we can still survive.'

Buggy thought, but his legs refused to leave.

Maybe what Galdino said touched his heart. Even if he didn't want to admit it, he wanted to save Luffy at all costs.

Their attacks were shredded by those wolves. The cold temperature was killing them.

But they kept moving forward, going from one prison cell to another, killing those wolves and moving forward.

Even at this moment, Galdino didn't forget to pack those dead wolves for Luffy.

"Ivankov? Who knows? He must be dead."

"What the hell? Are you still asking such a ridiculous question in such conditions?"

"Damn! Who are you guys? Why are you trying to save him?"

"Because we are friends."

Bon Clay roared and punched the wolf that was going to attack Luffy.

At this moment, several of the wolves surrounded them. Bon Clay was in no condition to fight them.

Galdino created a wall of wax, but they tore it apart with their sharp teeth and attack.

"What the hell do you think you're doing to my friends?"

Suddenly, a chilling voice came. It was Luffy who was protected by Galdino, Buggy, and Bon Clay from all sides.

His eyes showed a strong anger as a powerful Haki emerged from him.

"Get lost!"
