Liam Versus Kizaru Part 2

Hearing Liam's words, Kizaru showed a pensive expression towards his words.

After all, this was a guy whose plans seemed to have never failed. He was curious about this man.

He didn't get to fight him before. When he fought Luffy, he got a basic understanding of Luffy.

In short terms, he was just like his grandfather.

But while being just like his grandfather, Luffy also had one different trait from his grandfather.

He listened to Liam's orders.

Even Garp never listened to Sengoku's orders or to even previous fleet Admiral Kong.

He just did whatever he thought was right.

But unlike his grandfather, Luffy did listen to Liam's plan despite his careless attitude, which was quite surprising for Kizaru.

That's why he wanted to know what kind of person Liam was. Hearing his view on World Government didn't matter much to him.

But when he heard about Liam's view on Luffy's role as a protagonist, just like in those stories, he became curious.

"But we are not in a short, Liam. I don't understand why you would compare Luffy to a protagonist. I admit that he has a good background and a strong talent."

"But these are not enough to overthrow the World Government. It has existed for eight centuries by now."

Hearing that, Liam explained.

"It's simply about his Devil Fruit. Luffy's Devil Fruit is Human Human Fruit; Model: Nika. He is simply an incarnation of Nika, and every time Nika or Joyboy who ate this fruit has appeared, it has drastically changed the power holder of the world."

"But Luffy has something that Nika and Joyboy didn't have. It's his crew and people who will support him in the end. That's why I am so confident in Luffy."

"Will it be a miserable win? Yes! Will we lose some important people to us? We might. But, no matter what, Luffy is going to win and nothing can change that."

Hearing that, Kizaru's eyes widened in shock. Fortunately, he was wearing darker sunglasses so others couldn't see his expression.

He was genuinely surprised by Luffy's connection with Nika and Joyboy. Despite not wanting to listen to the history, he had quite a good connection with these figures.

After all, one of the people he worked with prayed to Nika as their god.

Of course, he wasn't just going to betray World Government after hearing that news. If he did, he wouldn't be Kizaru with Unclear Justice.

He was just contemplating Liam's words.

Liam just told him that every time Nika appeared, there would be a huge power shift.

Joyboy also had a connection with Nika since he ate the fruit related to Nika. As a close friend of Vegapunk, he knew Devil Fruit's connection with people's dreams.

He didn't even realize that he had become so curious about the history that he wanted to meet his old friend right now.

"And, let me tell you some shocking news. You know about the Ancient Robot that attacked Maryjoa two hundred years ago. That robot was Joyboy's crew."

"Not just him, even the Elephant Lord that walks around the ocean is Joyboy's partner. Don't you understand, Kizaru? They lived or stayed for so long because they were waiting for someone."

"Someone who can push the rubber fruit to its Awakening and become a new Sun God. Of course, Luffy isn't the type of person to be called God. But that status does give him more allies in the future."

When he said that, Kizaru interrupted him.

"But he might not have that kind of future. Because the person he is facing right now is Akainu. And unlike me, who is very interested in having a conversation with you, Akainu just goes for the kill."

"And, you might not be aware of his relationship with Dragon. I believe he will do anything in his power to kill Straw Hat. Although I admit that Straw Hat has grown stronger, we Admirals aren't so easy to beat."

Liam wasn't angered by his interruption. Everything he said till now was just to spread a seed of self-doubt and rebellion in Kizaru's heart.

So, when Kizaru changed the conversation, Liam followed quickly.

"Of course I know that. If Admirals were so easy to defeat, Marines would've collapsed a long time ago."

"After all, among the current four Emperors, three are part of the same crew from a long time ago. And two of them are quite close. So, it would make sense for them to destroy Marines."

"But they can't. Yes, with the combined forces of the four Emperors, they can easily destroy the Marines, but there is no combined force of four emperors."

"As for two, it wouldn't be enough. So, I am not going to underestimate the Admiral, the peak of the Marine combat ranking. And, I know our weaknesses and your strengths."

"It's not even a secret. Shanks can block your Observation Haki, allowing him to launch a devastating Conqueror Coated attack and defeat a single Admiral and fight two Admirals on his own."

"Kaido has tough skin. So, he can easily outlast and defeat one Admiral and fight two Admirals. Whitebeard is old, but if he goes berserk, he can kill an Admiral."

"As for Big Mom, you admirals will have to put a lot of effort just to scratch her body."

Hearing his words, Kizaru suddenly shot a laser beam towards Liam from his finger and whispered.

"Aren't you underestimating us too much, Liam?"

Liam's Observation Haki had already triggered a warning, which allowed him to dodge the laser beam quite easily.

"Of course not! Luffy and I don't have Observation Killer like Shanks. We don't have a physique like Whitebeard, Big Mom, and Kaido. More importantly, we don't have a monstrous amount of Haki like the Four emperors."

"You understand this battle too well, Liam. So, have you been kicked at the speed of light?"

Even Liam was left confused when he heard a voice next to him. But he quickly followed his instinct and ducked.

Kizaru's foot just crossed above him, launching a powerful blast of laser that destroyed a building in an instant.

While being on the ground, Liam stomped the ground with his hand and somersaulted several times to land on his feet, several meters away from Kizaru.

Before he could even react, Kizaru had already launched another kick straight to his face.

Seeing that he couldn't dodge it, Liam placed his forearms in front of him and coated them with Armament Haki.

Bang!

Kizaru kicked him through his forearms, and his foot reached his face. He flew into the buildings before he crashed several times and fell on the ground.

Just with a single attack, Kizaru left him with blood from his nose.

"Tch! I am still underestimating an Admiral. A monstrous physique means powerful strength. I need to concentrate my Haki; otherwise, I will lose this battle."

Liam muttered while releasing his Armament Haki around him and coating his entire body with it.

Although this might be a bit wasteful, he no longer had to worry about running out of Haki unless he used Conqueror Coating constantly.

He instantly walked out of the building and was greeted by several hundred laser beams falling from the sky.

[Yasakani No Magatama]

Liam instantly realized what kind of attack this was, and considering that Kizaru could use this attack to turn into clones, Liam didn't let down his guard.

He kept using his Future Sight to dodge those laser beams, and just as he predicted, those laser beams turned into clones of Kizaru.

[No Sword Style- Rankyaku Firework]

Liam placed both of his hands on the ground and started spinning. His legs began to generate a powerful blast of compressed air that flew towards different Kizaru.

Although these slashes rushed out with great force, they were not able to disperse at once. These clones were able to reappear with just one simple laser dot, making them almost unkillable.

Liam was quickly able to understand it and put a bit more force on his hand to send him into the air.

This made him quite open to Kizaru's attacks, but he had covered his entire body with Armament Haki.

[Ama No Murakumo Sword]

Those clones immediately formed several light sabers in their hands and rushed towards Liam.

They slashed from different directions, making it almost impossible for Liam to dodge those slashes.

Of course, Liam wasn't planning on dodging.

When they attacked him together, Liam put all of his energy into his hands and clapped his palms together.

His clap seemed to have released a strong shockwave that channeled outward in every direction.

Because Kizaru's attacks were all light-based, they were instantly pushed in different directions at the same time.

When they missed their attacks, Liam instantly counterattacked with his sword. He spun in mid-air while releasing a powerful circular slash that kept expanding outward.

The slash released from his sword was like a massive ring piercing through every single clone at the same time.
