Nami, Usopp, Brook Vs Shamon Part 2
Nami's voice was quite cunning as she appeared several meters away from Shamon.
But the moment she appeared, Shamon rushed toward her with full speed, reaching faster than someone like Nami could react.
Whoosh!
But just like before, his finger pierced through Nami, revealing it to be another illusion.
"Damn! What's going on? Could it be you also have a Devil Fruit related to illusions?"
Shamon asked, fully knowing that he wouldn't get an answer.
Just as he expected, Nami didn't answer but rather appeared several meters away from him.
But this time, she struck down a massive thunderbolt.
Facing this thunderbolt, Shamon had no choice but to rely on his Devil Fruit power. As he conjured a massive Earth Dragon from the ground and shot it towards the thunderbolt.
Bang!
Just when they collided, several bullets struck Shamon from all directions. Despite his mastery over Observation Haki, Shamon couldn't dodge all of them.
Splash! Splash!
Few bullets managed to pierce his stone armor. As he began to bleed, Shamon began to think carefully.
These three are working perfectly. Sniper and the Navigator can't take much damage, but that skeleton can, which is why he is the only one who can fight me in close combat.'
'But due to a lack of Haki, he is not my opponent. Haki?'
'Yes, that's it.'
Suddenly, Shamon released his Observation Haki and rushed toward Nami. Just like before, his finger pierced through her.
But he didn't stop, he used Soru to move towards another direction.
[Soru] Splash!
Although Nami tried to dodge it this time, she was a bit too slow. Shamon's finger pierced through her shoulder as she appeared several meters away from him.
Just when Shamon was about to move once again, Brook suddenly appeared in front of him with his sword, and the two clashed.
Bang!
Shamon seriously underestimated Brook's strength due to a lack of Haki. When they clashed, Brook managed to overpower Shamon before he could utilize his Haki.
[Dawn Song- Right-Handed Strike]
Shamon's Observation Haki gave him a strong warning as Brook thrust his sword forward, creating a powerful blast of compressed air.
This moved towards Shamon with great speed, making it almost impossible to dodge.
Seeing this, Shamon applied Armament Haki to his forearms and blocked the attack with his forearms.
Bang!
Shamon felt a strong pain in his forearm, but the compressed air didn't manage to pierce through his skin.
Just when Shamon thought he could react, Brook rushed toward him, jumped in the air, and suddenly pushed his sword towards him.
[Gavotte- Leap Forward]
This thrusting technique came with great accuracy and power. Facing such power, Shamon slammed his hand on the ground, and a massive wall rose.
[Earth Wall]
Bang!
The sword managed to pierce through the wall, but it didn't break it completely.
Feeling something behind the wall, Shamon applied his Observation Haki and instantly caught Nami.
"You can't escape this time."
He muttered as he disappeared from behind the wall.
Nami's Observation Haki gave her a strong warning, but she didn't move. She was swinging her stick when she sensed her enemy in front of her.
[Lightning Strike]
There was only one thing that could compare to the speed of light. It was the speed of lightning. Even with his strong Observation Haki and insane speed, Shamon wasn't able to dodge this attack.
Facing such a powerful attack, he had no choice but to rely on his defenses to block it.
He didn't use his Earth powers; instead, he relied on Armament Haki to create an armor around his body.
Bang!
When the lightning struck down, Shamon kept moving. Everything happened in less than a second as he took on the lightning bolt and kept moving towards Nami.
[Finger Gun]
His finger moved like a snake, trying to catch its prey. Since Nami focused most of her attention on the lightning bolt, she wasn't able to see the attack coming.
But that didn't mean others didn't see it.
[Universal Pull]
Suddenly, Nami felt a strong force on her stick and got pulled away.
Bang!
Shamon's attack didn't land on Nami; instead, it landed in the air. But the force behind his attack was so high that it shattered the ground beneath.
Nami's eyes were wide open when she saw that destruction.
If that attack had landed on her, she would've been seriously injured, if not dead.
"Thank you, Usopp!
Nami almost burst into tears and hugged Usopp.
"It's okay. Thankfully, I did the last-minute adjusting to your Weather Weapon; otherwise, I wouldn't be able to pull you."
Usopp pushed her back and patted her shoulder to calm her down.
"What was that?"
On the other hand, Shamon was also stunned by that sudden pull. He didn't even expect someone to pull Nami out of the way.
At this moment, his hair was fried and he had several burnt marks on his body. Even though he used Armament Haki, he wasn't able to block the power of the lightning bolt.
Even so, it wasn't enough to put him down.
"That must be the Sniper Usopp."
He instantly saw Usopp several hundred meters away from him with Nami on his side.
"He pulled Nami, but how did he do that? He doesn't have Gravity Fruit. No, I saw that. He didn't pull her, but rather that stick. That means he is not a Gravity Fruit user."
"According to the information, Straw Hats seemed to have a way to extract Devil Fruit. So, they attacked Kid Pirates and took his Devil Fruit? That must be given to the Sniper."
"Originally, Snipers are already good with bullets. Now, with his Devil Fruit, he can even direct the bullet in mid-air. And, based on his mastery, he can increase and decrease the speed of a bullet."
"For now, that's all I know about him. Another information is that he has strange bullets that are in the shape of shuriken."
"As for Nami, I don't need to worry about her anymore."
Shamon muttered while nodding his head.
It was easy to track Nami as long as he kept his Observation Haki open all the time. Although it would be hard, he wasn't worried at all.
"Nami, how is your wound? Can you still fight?"
Unlike the Monster Trio and others, Usopp was worried about a simple wound Nami had. After all, that finger Gun did pierce Nami's shoulder.
It even reached her bones.
"Don't worry, I am fine."
She said that while bandaging her wounds. Although her previous battle helped her bear pain and fight while injured, he wasn't like Luffy and others to completely ignore injuries.
"He has figured out my illusions. I'm pretty sure he won't fall for it again." Nami spoke with a serious expression.
"Then, let's use Plan B."
Usopp nodded his head and spoke.
"So, what's the Plan B?"
Suddenly, a voice came from behind. Because they were watching Shamon all the time, they didn't even notice him appearing behind them.
"How is this possible? You should be there. My eyes were always on you." Usopp shouted in shock, without even turning around.
"Aww! If I were a girl, that line would've made me blush. Unfortunately, you are not the only one with illusion tricks, and my trick is even greater than yours."
Shamon chuckled before throwing a punch.
His fist smashed Usopp on the ribs.
"Ugh!"
Usopp fell while coughing hard. That punch nearly broke his ribs. Just when he was about to release his powers, Shamon raised his foot and struck hard on Usopp's head.
Bang!
Usopp's head struck the ground and started bleeding heavily. It would've cracked if he hadn't used Armament Haki on his head.
Whoosh!
Shamon sensed Nami striking with her stick and instantly jumped. He dodged the attack and kicked sideways.
Bang!
His feet landed on Nami's chest, throwing her several hundred meters into the wall.
Bang! Thud!
Nami crashed into the walls and almost broke her back. Shamon didn't use special attacks this time as they would give his enemies a chance to prepare.
"That was truly harsh, Shamon-san."
Suddenly, Brook appeared from behind and slashed at Shamon.
But Shamon simply coated his hand with Armament Haki and broke his slash.
"Sorry, Brook-san! But I'm a government agent after all. I can't let a pirate crew win."
Shamon still had that gentle smile on his face, but Brook could sense a terrible power brewing inside Shamon.
Before Brook could even react, Shamon appeared in front of him. He coated his fist with Armament Haki and then coated it with rock and smashed it forward.
Bang!
Brook wasn't able to dodge it since he truly lacked Observation Haki. When the punch landed, he could feel several of his bones break apart.
He fell several meters away, with almost no strength to get up.
After finishing three of them, Shamon lightly dusted off his clothes and muttered.
"I was too cautious. One has no Haki, and the other two have weak Haki."
