Admiral Preparation

Two Days Later;

"Would you like to have some coffee, Sakazuki?"

Borsalino put the coffee in the cup and asked. But before Sakazuki could reply, he had already put the cup of coffee in front of him.

Sakazuki glanced at him but decided to drink the coffee.

"It's amazing, isn't it? A bunch of teenagers managed to become threats to the World Government, to the point that they didn't even hesitate to send CP0 agents."

Borsalino spoke weirdly while looking at five men in white suits and masks. They were CP0 agents.

Their job was to keep the Celestial Dragons safe from all attacks. But today, they were given a new task.

A mission to destroy the Straw Hat Pirates.

Originally, Sengoku was simply going to let them leave Paradise to check and balance the other Emperors.

But because the Five Elders found the power of Straw Hat Luffy and his Devil Fruit, they decided to nip out in the bud before it could sprout.

That's why instead of three, they sent five CP0 agents.

On top of that, there were five Pacifista alongside several marine soldiers. This force might not have had a lot of low-level soldiers, but it had a lot of high-level soldiers.

CP0 agents were simply above most Vice Admirals and below Admirals in strength.

Because they didn't plan to get involved in the war, these five people should be more than enough to cover the strength of fifteen to twenty vice admirals.

That's the difference one could make through strength.

So while Marines planned to use a hundred thousand Marines to face Whitebeard Pirates, their high-end forces were almost the same.

Because a single Emperor Level character could easily change the entire situation of a battle.

Not to mention, Straw Hats weren't exactly Emperor-level crew. Because in their eyes, Luffy and Liam weren't Emperor Level individually.

And, they were right about it. Luffy had barely been touching the level of an Emperor.

If any of the Emperors used their strongest trick, it would be easy to defeat Luffy.

But at the same time, he could fifty-fifty any of the Emperor if they didn't use their trump card.

Of course, the trump card meant their strongest state. For Kaido and Big Mom, it was their Flame Eight Trigrams and turning her body into a homie.

Shanks and Whitebeard were a bit different. Shanks would not underestimate his enemy, using his strongest force to deal with him.

Whitebeard's strongest form would be when he fought for his family.

Luffy's strongest form would be Gear Fifth, but without awakening, his strongest attack was Supernova.

It was an attack that would burn hotter than magma itself. But of course, Akainu's base form has the power of Magma, so his attacks would be even deadlier than Luffy's strongest attack.

"Straw Hats are too dangerous to leave alone. While Big Mom and Kaido might try to take Railway under their wings, they aren't powerful enough to pose any threat to the World Government."

"But Straw Hats are different. With their current age, they could become a stronger threat than the Rocks Pirates if given the chance. That's why we must destroy them here."

One of the agents spoke with a cold tone.

"They are not wrong." Sakazuki nodded his head. He wanted to kill Ace, Son of Roger, and Luffy, Son of Dragon, before they could become major threats to the Marines.

Since he got any opportunity, he wouldn't try to waste it.

"According to the information given by Kuzan, their Vice Captain Liam possesses a Gamble Fruit which allows him to gamble the future and gain massive benefits."

"At the same time, he can also use his luck for gambling to increase their strength exponentially. But during a battle, he mostly uses a strange method that can increase his strength exponentially."

"He calls it Fire Demon Mode 'Blazing Fire God'. In this mode, his strength increases several times, but his Haki consumption is also massive."

"His captain has a similar state, which he calls Gear Fourth. This also increases his strength several times, but Haki Consumption is massive."

"So, it is better to let them use their modes while conserving your strength, and kill them immediately after they get tired."

The other Agent spoke, reminding them of Luffy and Liams' power.

"Borsalino, you mustn't slack off this time. You will fight Liam, and I will fight Straw Hat." Sakazuki spoke.

"Don't underestimate them too much, Sakazuki. They might not be monsters like you, but they have amazing power. Don't forget, we have to deal with them without suffering from any damage."

Borsalino replied.

Sakazuki thought for a moment and nodded.

He was sure that even if he fought and suffered a lot of damage, he could still fight continuously for a few days.

But the opponent he was going to fight next was the strongest man. It would be a suicide to fight him in his weakened state.

"Have you found more details about their battle with Kaido?" Sakazuki looked at the CP0 agents and asked.

One of them spoke.

"We weren't able to get a proper look at the battle since they were on an unknown island. But Morgan was able to get some info from this battle."

"Straw Hat Luffy and Vice Captain Liam fought Kaido for several hours, but Kaido never went all out. Though they were able to completely change the structure of that island."

"The heat produced during their battle was capable of melting the island into molten lava. Their clash sent shockwaves out from the island, which made it harder to gather more information."

"But he managed to get one piece of information. The one whose attack turned the island into lava was Straw Hat Luffy. Considering his powers were related to rubber, it is quite confusing."

"Scary! I didn't expect that cheeky little guy to have such a trump card. I wonder if he learned it after our battle."

Borsalino made a face that could only be described as a signpost 'Yes, I am making fun of you. Come and hit me.'.

Despite his words, he didn't look a bit scared. Not to mention, Sakazuki, who was even more excited to destroy Luffy's attack with his Magma.

For Logia, their elements didn't mean the end point but rather the starting point.

For example, Kizaru had Pika Pika No Mi. Just because he was light didn't mean his top speed was the speed of light.

The science of this world was infinitely evolving with the human imagination. So, even the speed of light wasn't the highest level of speed one could achieve.

There were several people faster than the speed of light, and Kizaru was faster than them.

Simply because he was an Admiral.

A marine had to train both types of Haki to become a Vice Admiral. Since marines usually didn't have Conqueror, and even if they had, it wouldn't be strong because of their position.

Only people like Garp could still have powerful Conqueror Haki because they could do whatever they wanted.

But even so, that was only until the Great Pirate Era. Because after that, he went back to chasing small-time pirates like in his early days.

Sengoku also stopped fighting powerhouses and went on to become a Fleet Admiral. While it didn't decrease their strength, it did make it impossible for them to improve any further.

So, the only people who could have a chance for improvement were three admirals.

But without a life and death battle, it would be impossible for any of them to make a significant improvement.

Even so, at the level of an Admiral, they had monster-like physiques, top-level Haki, and powerful control over their Devil Fruit.

This allowed them to reach the same level of strength as an emperor and fight a proactive battle.

"It doesn't matter. We will destroy them at any cost." Sakazuki spoke with a strong determination.

Bang!

At this moment, the door of their room opened, and a marine soldier rushed in. He was sweating crazily, but he managed to speak.

"Admiral Akainu, Admiral, we've just received a message from Fleet Admiral Sengoku."

"Oh?" Borsalino raised his eyebrows as a look of interest appeared in his eyes, which were hidden by sunglasses.

"What is it?" Sakazuki asked with a cold tone.

"There has been an accident in Sabody." The Marine soldier began shaking in fear as a look of disbelief and fear appeared in his eyes.

"Saint Charlos was attacked."

"What?"

Both Sakazuki and Borsalino were stunned for a moment. On the other hand, the five CP0 agents were also confused.

They just left Marry Geoise. They knew Celestial Dragons weren't allowed to enter the Sabody during this period because of the upcoming war.

How come a Celestial Dragon was attacked?

But then they remembered the willful nature of the Celestial Dragons and shook their heads.

"Who is it?" Sakazuki asked with a cold tone.

The Marine soldier gulped heavily.

"It's Monkey D Luffy!"
