Law Joins

"Wait, wait, wait, what do you mean take Whitebeard's ability? How can someone take away another's ability?"

Law asked with an anxious expression.

"He can. Teach stayed on Whitebeard's ship as an ordinary pirate with no bounty for twenty years. Even though he was capable of leaving scars on Red Hair's face."

Hearing that, Law's eyebrows twitched.

What did this mean? Even if they had fought before Red Hair became an Emperor, he didn't think Shanks was a weak pirate.

To be able to injure someone like him, it was clear that Teach's ability was far stronger than most Whitebeard Pirates.

But even so, he stayed like an ordinary pirate for twenty years.

"Why?"

"For a devil fruit. Logia Dark Dark Fruit. This fruit gives the user power over darkness. It can control gravity to a certain degree. It can make others' abilities disappear during the battle."

"It can even touch Logia's intangibility without the need for Armament Haki. Most importantly, it can absorb anyone's Devil Fruit after the death of the user."

"So, he doesn't need to wait several days or months for devil fruit to regenerate. After the war, he will target every devil fruit user. And, Ope-Ope No Mi is a perfect devil fruit for him."

"Especially if he has a loyal crew that can sacrifice their lives for him. In that case, he can become immortal."

"Of course, the awakening of a devil fruit is extremely hard. But think about it for a moment. He is someone who waited for twenty years just for a single devil fruit."

"Do you think he doesn't have a proper method for awakening?"

Hearing that, Law clenched his fists. The veins were bulging on his arms and forehead.

"So, because of my devil fruit, I am gonna be everyone's target."

Seeing his expression, Liam sighed.

"If I didn't disappear, I would still ask you to join the crew. Not just because of the devil fruit. We have many people on the ship who do not have devil fruit."

"I would invite you because you are a capable person. Even without the Devil Fruit, you have a chance to become as strong as a Vice Admiral."

"Of course, with this devil fruit, you can reach as high as Emperor Deputy or even extremely close to an Admiral."

"As for why not admiral or Emperor, it's very simple. You don't have Conqueror Haki or years of training."

"If you had proper training from a small age, you would've become as strong as an Admiral. If you want to reach the level of an Emperor, you need to have Conqueror Haki."

"Since you watched this battle, you should've felt how much we released our Conqueror Haki constantly in this battle."

Law nodded. Even if he was far away, he could see Conqueror Haki every two minutes. It was almost like they were using Conqueror Haki for a battle.

He didn't know that was possible since Doflamingo never used it like that.

"That's the difference between Doflamingo and Kaido. Both have Conqueror Haki, but Kaido can infuse Conqueror Haki into his attacks to give his attacks a power boost."

"This power boost can vary from five to ten times based on the concentration of one's Conqueror Haki. So, the gap in power between the Emperor and others is too big."

"The only reason Admirals can fight Emperors is because they have trained their bodies to extreme limits. If two admirals fight, their battle could last ten days."

"And, considering their awakening, they can fight off the Emperor for a while. Of course, Emperors also have their advantages and weaknesses."

"Kaido hasn't awakened his Devil Fruit even though he has been a pirate for such a long time. Big Mom doesn't have advanced Armament and advanced Observation Haki."

"Red Hair doesn't have a devil fruit and an arm. Whitebeard is old. Once he fights with all of his strength, he will be left in a bed forever."

Compared to them, Admirals are simply at their peak. The only one to have none of these problems is Luffy."

"He has all three forms of Haki and mastery over their advanced techniques. He also has a powerful mastery over his Devil Fruit and is extremely close to awakening it."

"He is still young and has a lot of room for growth. Law, this might sound like a threat, but Straw Hat Pirates are the only ones who can help you take revenge against Doflamingo and also help you uncover the mystery of D Clan."

Hearing that, Law took a deep breath and said.

"Can I talk to my crew before giving you the answer?"

Liam smiled and nodded.

He left the Polar Tank and informed Law's crew. Although Luffy was reluctant to let Bepo go, he still didn't stop them.

Two minutes later,

"Luffy!" "Liam!"

Nami and Robin also arrived on that island. As soon as they saw the injured Luffy and Liam, they ran towards them.

Nami, of course, went to Liam while Robin went to Luffy.

"How are you? Do we need to set sail and find Chopper?" Nami anxiously asked.

"No need! Although these are heavy injuries, we can hold on for a while." Liam knew just how injured he was.

But he wasn't worried. Because with Law and Chopper as their doctor, he could easily recover.

On the other hand, Robin's eyes fell on the Polar Tank, and she asked.

"Why are they here?"

"I invited Law's crew to join us," Liam replied.

Robin looked at Luffy and asked.

"Is this okay? Betrayal is very common between pirates, Luffy."

"Yeah! They are good people. Don't worry about it. Otherwise, Liam wouldn't have invited them, right, Liam?" Luffy shook his head and replied.

"Don't worry, Robin! Law had every chance to become the second Doflamingo, but he didn't." Liam shook his head and answered.

"It seems you even know about him, Liam-ya." Law suddenly appeared next to them with his crew, who looked a bit sad but also determined.

"So, how are you going to deal with my crew?" He questioned.

"I need your crew's help in the Paradise," Liam explained without hesitation.

"While our railway might be covered by our reputation, there will always be stubborn people who are not afraid of anything. So, it will be at constant risk of being attacked."

"I need a group of people who can dive into the sea for a long period and watch the entire situation. If they are capable of support, they can support. If not, they can report."

"Originally, I planned to give this job to a fishman. But considering how your crew traveled to the Grandline from the cold waters of North Blue, I believe in your potential."

"With my training, your crew will be a major part of this railway project."

"But at the same time, their potential is not enough to make them part of the main crew. I am being blunt here, but Buggy the Clown has more potential than your crew combined."

"If awakened, he has the potential to shatter everything around him. But even he is not part of the main crew. The only reason why I am inviting Bepo, except for you, is simply because he is a part of the Mink Tribe."

"With Chopper's expertise in medicines, he can make pills that can help Bepo enter Sulong Form even during the day. This can be a major trump card for the crew."

Hearing this, Law bitterly smiled and said.

"You understand my crew better than me."

It was clear that he never thought of making an artificial Sulong Form.

"I know more than you can think, Law. As I said before, you could have easily turned into a second Doflamingo with your experiences."

"You even had that kind of mind when you were young. But instead of destroying the world, you have now become someone who can save it and people living in it."

"You didn't become second Doflamingo. You became the second Corazon."

Hearing this statement, Law felt a bit of relief as if a huge weight on his shoulders had been removed.

"Thank you, Liam-ya."

Liam smiled and fell on his back.

"Now, hurry up and give us some treatment."

"Liam!"

Nami hurriedly went next to him to check his condition. There were several burnt marks and cracks on his skin.

"Let me handle it, Nami-ya! I am a doctor after all."

Law appeared next to them and spoke. He released a blue sphere around Liam and began scanning his body.

A look of horror appeared on his face as he spoke.

"He is seriously injured. How could he hold on for so long?"

"That's because Liam wanted to invite you."

Luffy spoke. Law turned his head towards Luffy, who was watching the sea.

Luffy continued.

"This sea is very big. He is sure that only he can make you join the crew. So, he didn't want to lose this chance."

"Shishishi! Liam is the best Vice Captain."
