56 – Incident!

—————————

PART 1 – Orcs!

—————————

Toru had a lot of pent-up anger. He couldn't ask his mother the questions he wanted to. In the end, he just accepted things as they were and understood that fighting was useless.

The mountains already belong to Skarla. He doesn't have the strength to challenge her. So he accepted everything as it was.

And to calm his anger, Skarla accepted his requests for a duel. Unsurprisingly, she defeated him without even using her hands. The disparity in skill level was extremely significant.

……

Makaulu had short conversations with Letiphia, then spent some time reading books. He wanted to understand more about the enemy he had been facing for decades.

The more he discovered, the more amazed he became. He realized that the mountains must undergo evolution to avoid isolation from the world in a few decades or centuries.

And as he adapted to the new customs, he learned about one of his many half-breed children, Pelia.

When they first met, he noticed her gaze, initially interpreting it as the curious glances of a young orc meeting her former king for the first time. But that wasn't the case; the beautiful young half-breed was his daughter. Knowing this, he found her. However, aside from Gakai, his most beloved child, he was unsure of how to handle his other children. In the current situation, Pelia held greater influence than him, as she was one of Skarla's disciples. Pelia sought him out with a single goal in mind. She was eager to meet her father, a figure of great power and wisdom. However, when she first met him, she didn't give it much thought. After a brief interaction, she realized that she had no desire to acknowledge him as her father. Makaulu noticed her distance, so he stopped all interaction. Even though he didn't have a bad relationship with his children, he had his favorite, and the rest were disposable. It turns out that Pelia doesn't fit into that category and is not a child under his control. He abandoned her due to her lack of parental guidance and her lack of regard for him as a father figure.

……

Gakai continued with her training, as well as taking care of her health because of the baby in her womb. Even though her resistance as an orc is very high and the chances of losing a child are very low, it's always advisable to exercise caution.

She also learned to take better care of her skin and body. Naturally being affected by the many noble women she met or by Skarla's own wives.

They were all lovely and delicate. They did not exude power, but rather something more. Each of them possessed a majestic and unique aura, making it difficult to underestimate them. Unless you are a layman.

Letiphia has a dark and sharp aura, accompanied by her arrogance and majestic countenance.

Viper has a restrained and sharp aura, like a blade in its sheath. Exuding a deadly presence with the slightest change in her mood, something that he has seen a little in the last few months. The Demonic Arts are taking effect.

Calah has a cheerful and receptive aura; her face is always smiling and full of lust, but deep down, she hides a malice. Among them all, she is the weakest, but naturally she cannot be underestimated.

Ilyria exudes a demure and calm aura; she is naturally submissive, embodying a typical wife who would receive support from her husband while taking care of the house and children. She does not exude grandiosity or danger; in fact, one could argue that she is the lowest of all the wives. But she exudes an incredible and unshakable resilience, a protective force that is difficult to describe. This surprisingly makes her trustworthy and simple to live with, even if there is wisdom and malice in her eyes that is difficult to notice.

Talya exudes an aggressive and lively aura, her face consistently displaying defiance and relying heavily on her partner's strength, which instills in her a confidence that surpasses expectations. She is far from weak, always training and pushing her limits, never having had the opportunity to prove herself. We can liken her to a sword and shield, meticulously honed over years, patiently awaiting their appropriate moment of application.

Finally, we have her, Gakai, who is the latest addition to this harem full of unique women who are slowly paving an extraordinary path. When they truly adapt to the techniques they have learned, they will fly in the skies, overcoming any and all limits.

In the beginning, Gakai emitted the aggression and strength that she carried. She is a formidable warrior with years of experience. The blood of the hundreds of lives she has taken on the battlefields bathes her hands. She exuded pure aggression and the natural wild instinct of the orcs.

But her appearance has changed as a result of her taming and introduction to a new world of opportunities. She has suppressed all her aggression and savagery. It's still unclear exactly what it emits, but the closest analogy would be a grenade on the verge of detonation.

These points helped Gakai, who had never given much thought to her appearance, understand its significance in high society. As Skarla's wife, she had no grounds for ridicule.

So she stopped being a savage and started to appear civilized.

……

In addition to Toru, Makaulu, and Gakai, the other orcs were also adapting to society outside the mountains.

A world so different. So many races live in harmony, including other orcs and various parts of the continent. In their quest to reach Skarla or Makaulu, they even encountered gray-skinned orcs, a merchant orc who quickly became friends with them.

A very intelligent and shrewd orc. Gakai banished him during a hormonal outburst.

(Author: Result of a Critical Error…) (I love and hate dice at the same time. I prepared so much for this character for this to happen.)

Naturally, numerous orcs incited chaos, but the soldiers, anticipating such occurrences, dispatched them and successfully resolved the situation. Skarla compensated for the damages and offered her apologies. Even if Skarla didn't say it, no one would cause trouble or seek further compensation after her apology.

Many orcs were punished. They learned laws like not fucking women or men you liked just because you wanted to. You need the consent of the other person.

Of course, this is something basic. The issue arises from the world's ubiquity and ease of executing sexual acts, coupled with their origins as savages from the mountains, who follow simple rules. If a strong orc is interested in you, he can challenge you and conquer you, whether male or female. If you lose, you will naturally become his possession.

These are the rules of the mountains: if you want something, have the strength to take it or someone for yourself!

…

Despite the anticipated conflicts, the orcs were surprisingly adapting. This place provided them with knowledge about the worth of coins, the items they could purchase with them, and the weapons and armor that would have been unattainable in the mountains.

If they wanted to have sex, they learned about places where men and women sold their bodies for coins. Delicious food and high-quality alcohol.

Searching for the simplest methods to accumulate more coins, they found that they could engage in tasks such as carrying and building items, or they could pursue professions that would earn them money.

In addition, they could hunt monsters and criminals, receiving many rewards.

Skarla initially gave them a subsidy, but it wasn't enough to enjoy certain luxuries. Therefore, Skarla granted them permission to leave the city under supervision.

Companies hired adventuring parties to assist groups of orcs in socializing, understanding society, learning the common language more quickly, and other tasks.

PART 2 – Jomorka City!

—————————

Days passed, and Jomorka began to receive more visitors. The hotels and inns were overcrowded, to the point that tents were being erected outside the city.

Business was booming. A lot of income was being sent to Letiphia's pockets.

Famous adventurers and mercenaries from all over the continent were showing up, attracting a lot of attention. There were fallen nobles, hermit knights, magicians, and more.

The coliseum was already open, hosting events every day. The attendance was higher than in the last few decades; every day, the stands were practically full. The situation escalated to such an extent that, up until the day of the main event, the mayor of Jomorka was expending significant funds to expand and renovate the coliseum in preparation for the arrival of the iconic visitors.

Time was limited, but with so much investment and assistance from magicians and prestigious architects, everything was moving very quickly.

The installation included new magical technology. Even with the coliseum finishing its renovation, it wouldn't be enough for everyone to enjoy the show. Consequently, the coliseum erupted with magic projectors and large screens.

From now on, everyone in the coliseum was able to watch the fights. The broadcasting of the fights won't continue beyond the event due to its high cost and ongoing development. But it will be enough for the qualifiers to take place.

One month before the event began, several fights were already underway to determine the true representatives of the tournament. Those above Level 10 automatically had a guaranteed spot, but those below that had to duel or participate in group events, becoming attractions.

They would have the chance to demonstrate their skills in front of a legendary figure if they were successful. If they failed, it indicated that they were not worthy of showing their strength.

The crowd was enthralled with the large screens displaying the fights and events. People could enjoy the show from the streets or from the windows of their homes, which contributed to the lack of crowded stands.

Speaking of houses, we expanded the square around the coliseum and demolished some for the upcoming events. Naturally, the owners of these houses relocated and received compensation.

The empire was preparing for a remarkable spectacle that would leave a lasting impact for decades.

Many nobles took advantage of the opportunity to arrive early and watch the fights so they could recruit talented warriors, form relationships with powerful individuals, request missions, and so on.

At that time, Jomorka was a place full of opportunities and dreams.

……

When we get out of a luxurious carriage in Jomorka, we can see a small and delicate female figure with dark skin, long pointy ears, dark brown hair, and eyes. This female figure is Zenyo Gander, one of the richest men on the continent.

Zenyo personally came to Jomorka to manage his branch. In a place brimming with business opportunities, how could he let so many opportunities slip away?

He fled as soon as the mission was over. During this time, many things happened to him, which kept his mind busy.

Because of the connections made during the mission and being part of the group that faced the main demonic forces, his Merchant Group gained a lot of influence, his wealth only increased, and many business partners appeared.

He then traveled all over the continent, participating in many social events. His wealth only increased during this period of time. He made several business agreements that would last for years, and in a few months, another explosion of growth would occur.

Then, he became aware of the upcoming marriage tournament. When he first heard about the marriage tournament, he initially believed it would be Skarla who would marry, which caused him to feel conflicted. However, he later learned that Holga, along with three other women, would be the bride.

This surprised him, and he admits that he was envious. But like a reputable merchant, he saw the opportunities and came running. His well-known name in the duchy allowed him entry with ease, and his profits were significantly higher than those of his competitors due to increased trust.

In addition, a multitude of aristocrats, explorers, and significant mercenaries approached him, seeking to fortify their connections in anticipation of a personal introduction to Skarla from one of his acquaintances.

As for his thoughts on Skarla, He thought a lot during these months and decided to give her a second chance. Despite the fear of the person between Skarla's legs and his own insecurities, he refuses to allow his prejudices to sabotage their friendship and potential romance.

So Zenyo had another reason, besides money, for coming to Jomorka in person. He had dreams that he could reconcile with Skarla and potentially become a couple. Poor guy, delusing himself.

……

Still in Jomorka. In addition to merchants, nobles, adventurers, and mercenaries, churches were interested in the event, as well as the potential secret teachings that a legendary figure could teach.

Many churches sent a few representatives because they wanted to spread their influence and, if possible, have a relationship with Skarla, which would be very beneficial to spreading the name of their gods.

However, the fact that the Radiant Church dispatched more representatives than anticipated raised suspicions among many other churches. Naturally, this raised suspicions, prompting them to report it to their superiors.

Saint Teresa, who led the representatives of the Radiant Church, was a highly influential figure, second only to the Pope! One of the 5 Saints who are found in the Radiant Church.

Normally, only catastrophic events that could impact the church itself or the necessity to relocate for the church's benefit would force someone with her influence and power to leave the temple.

Due to the rarity of the Saints, no one recognized her or knew of her presence, except for some of the few representatives who knew who she was.

And within this group, it is possible to find Anna Zlad with a submissive expression, one of the few who know Teresa's identity. Naturally, it is her fault that one of the five saints moved.

The contract she and Skarla established was strong, but not impossible to undo. Undoing such a contract was very easy with the strength of the church, so she told the secrets she discovered.

Just the fact that she was not a Real Legend, but had the strength to even threaten demigods was something that attracted the attention of the superiors, and they aimed to obtain such secrets.

…

BOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!

A massive explosion suddenly sounded in the distance.

“Hmm?!” Teresa, who had been calm, was alarmed; the hairs on her body stood on end, and a strong tightness in her heart appeared. No one else felt it; everyone was simply confused by the explosion, but she sensed something more extraordinary and terrifying than a mere explosion.

The terror caused the holy power within her body to tremble.

—————————

PART 3 – World Heart!

—————————

While much of the continent was moving towards the upcoming event, its creator was training.

She has gained a lot of knowledge and experience since acquiring the Dantian. She had witnessed the creation of a Dantian.

This life differed from her previous one, in which she was born with a Dantian and later filled it with energy. In this life, she did not possess a Dantian; instead, she created one when the limitations of her body became increasingly fragile.

It was instinctive. It was probably the memories engraved in her soul of the feeling of a Dantian, the experience of decades of cultivating Internal Energy with a Dantian.

All of this culminated. At that point, she experienced a forced enlightenment due to the easing of the restrictions, but it was quickly followed by an even more intense and grandiose enlightenment.

Now, her soul and flesh bore the indelible mark of this entire mysterious process.

Her training was simple. She only needed to observe her Dantian. She studied it, relying on her memories and sensations. She possessed an in-depth understanding of this energy core, utilizing intricate concepts.

Skarla does this by flying in the sky. Using her Internal Energy to sustain herself in the air. She was able to achieve incredible peace here.

She had been feeling this way for months. She understood more about the world, and finally she tried something.

Her hands extended, and Internal Energy exhaled. Soon manifesting between her palms, a vortex formed by Internal Energy.

The clouds above began to swirl. The surroundings were consuming a massive amount of magical power. The air distorted, and Skarla felt pressure, as well as an enmity, as if her soul was telling her she would fail.

She laughed. - "Manipulations don't work on me!" - She said disdainfully as she continued.

Veins popped all over her body. In the center of the vortex, mana was concentrated. Her Internal Energy purges all impurities, which fell like dark granules that would disintegrate in the air.

A radiant glow appeared, causing the vortex to gain several fissures as the brightness increased.

As the strength of the vortex diminished, a transparent crystal floated between Skarla's palms. A pure and majestic presence of magical power emanated from it.

Just by breathing, Skarla could feel the magical power seeping through her nostrils. Furthermore, the mana from the surrounding environment began to naturally accumulate and circulate through the crystal. The environment was changing.

Skarla calmly observed, and with her heightened senses, she noticed that the environment hundreds of kilometers away was slowly changing. Where the crystal was, the mana was accumulating.

This made her smile. She had accidentally created an item that collected and purified mana. What is its use? It was altering the environment it was in, increasing the purity and quantity of the surrounding magical energy, according to what she could see.

So, in a simple way, it will become a perfect place for magicians in this world, as well as immensely speed up the cultivation of the magician and her people. The purer the ambient energy, the less effort it requires to purify and absorb it.

Of course, just one of these crystals is not enough.

“What did you do?” - A calm voice sounded. Letiphia, a sorceress who felt the disturbances in the magical power, came to the heavens to find out.

Skarla said nothing but showed the item in her hands. Letiphia watched with a calm expression until she was amazed by the purity of this mana, to the point where it was transparent. If it were in a dark place, it would likely remain imperceptible to the human eye.

“What is this?” - Letiphia swallowed her saliva. As a sorceress and seeker of knowledge, she wants to conduct research with this item.

"Currently, its only functions are the collection of ambient energy and its purification. Cultivating or training near one of these will significantly speed up training. I'll make a few more in the future and seal off an area.”

“This apparently steals magical power from the other regions. Won't that hurt agriculture?” - Letiphia frowned.

“Not necessarily. If you look, I altered the energy in the sky; it circulates more easily. The soil was untouched. Of course, it will reduce the chances of magical plants appearing in the region, but it wouldn't affect vegetation or animal life.” - Skarla assessed the surroundings.

“How many can you make?” - Letiphia asked curiously.

“This doesn't use up as much of my energy as it seems. It consumed around 60% of all my Internal Energy, but I've practically recovered it all just by having this in my hands. In other words, if this is in someone's possession, it will serve as an energy replenisher; it works for both mana and Internal Energy, I don't know about other energies.”

“Theoretically, I can create 1 every 2 hours. The problem is that creating such an item results in wounds in the world. They will heal after a few days, so it is not a concern. So I would need to go to another region if I wanted to create more.” - Skarla said, scratching her chin.

Letiphia calmly took the crystal, marveling at the pure sensation flooding her body. She felt she had unlimited magical power. - “The sensation is incredible. If you contain its effects in a scepter, I believe a Legendary Item would appear at the very least; the chances of it being Mystical or Divine are high.”

“Yes. The most intriguing thing is that you can’t touch it.” - Skarla said.

“What do you mean?” - Letiphia was confused because she felt like she was touching it.

“It looks like a crystal, but its formation is so complex, without mentioning that the energy is so dense and pure, that it creates a repulsion. The sensation of touch is simply the energy of the crystal repelling your touch.” - Saying these words, Skarla retrieved the crystal and slowly sank her fingers into it.

“It’s not an item, so to speak. This is the essence of the world itself crystallized, the reason for the wounds that will soon close.” - Skarla smiled, then widened her eyes, standing in front of Letiphia and shouting. - “GET DOWN NOW!” - At her shout, a wave of energy pushed Letiphia to the ground.

Letiphia was shocked, but she understood that it was dangerous for even Skarla to act this way.

And in front of Skarla, something that only she could see manifested itself in reality. Cracks in the spatial fabric of the world, the wounds she opened were detected by something. This curious something peered through the wounds, and that's what alarmed Skarla.

The massive eye made her feel as small as an ant. She trembled in pure terror, never feeling such terror before in her existence. Even when faced with death in her first life, she didn’t feel anything close to this.

Skarla didn't know what she had just invited into this world, but she needed to expel it.

Gathering her dense Internal Energy, accompanied by the support of the crystal in her possession, she immediately fired a massive shockwave that had such massive power that it was surprising for a mortal to wield such power. At this point, the world itself was supporting her, showing its fear of this entity.

BOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!

Space itself exploded. The fabric that shielded the mundane from those beyond this world distorted, allowing the people below to glimpse the terrifying presence of an eye above their heads for a brief moment. Pure terror took over their hearts, to the point that they forgot how to breathe or think.

The attack took effect, causing the entity to retreat with a force that shook space. Skarla acted quickly, and with the crystal's support, she began to sew the wounds that had opened in the fabric of space.

She thought there would be no problems, that the world would heal itself. She was wrong, very wrong!

She quickly closed it. Fortunately for her, the injured entity withdrew. But something entered this world. Skarla observed what could be blood or tears, which is hard to tell because she doesn't understand them.

Whatever it was, as soon as it came into contact with the atmosphere, it disintegrated. Skarla didn't feel anything different. Everything seemed in order, and the space was already healing.

The crystal, of course, remained in her possession. - "Next time, I'll close it after I'm done." - Skarla said with a sigh, where she felt some enmity after saying those words.

Smiling bitterly for having almost brought cosmic terror to this world, Skarla took the crystal and said. - "I'll name it [World Heart]."

—————————

PART 4 – Explanations!

—————————

After the incident, which alarmed and terrified many people, everything was returning to normal.

The excuse given was that something or someone tried to summon something in the city, but Skarla was present and killed the culprit, as well as expelled the demon that aimed to invade this world.

Lies, but naturally there is no way to say that due to her lack of attention, she left wounds in space, ignored them, and the energy output attracted something beyond this world.

If it were known that Skarla almost attracted a cosmic terror that could have devastated not only the empire but perhaps the entire continent, what would her image be like?

…

“You almost killed everyone because of this?” - Viper clenched her fists as she watched Skarla with the [World Heart] in her hands.

“It was an accident. I didn’t expect there to be something like this out there. But I’ve already taken care of everything, so don’t worry.” - Skarla said with a smile.

Viper rubbed her mouth and chin. She looked quite irritated and frustrated. - “HOW COULD YOU HAVE BEEN SO RECKLESS?! What did you read all those books for? What did you research demons for months for?” - Viper exploded.

“It doesn’t take a damn genius to know that beyond our world, there are other dimensions, there are other worlds, and wandering in the space between our worlds and dimensions, there are damn aberrations that consume these same worlds! You almost destroyed this world because of one damn slip!” - Viper gasped, where she looked at Letiphia.

“And even if she was stupid enough to ignore that point, you should have known! You literally deal with similar entities in your contracts and still didn’t notice that this could happen?!”

“I didn’t know.” - Letiphia frowned, not liking being reprimanded. - “I didn’t expect her to have hurt the world’s barriers to create this item. I was also very focused on the [World Heart].”

Viper rubbed her temples, took a deep breath, and simply decided to leave. She was filled with anger, unable to accept that she, an assassin, was the most sane of the three. It was astonishing that the two most brilliant and remarkable women in the area could overlook such a crucial detail.

…

Skarla let her leave; she was ashamed for having let something like that go by. She had no excuses, and the same goes for Letiphia.

Staying silent was the best thing for the moment. There were others, but only Viper got angry. The others just thought it was an accident, and since everything went well, there was no reason to get angry.

……

“What did you do?” - An accusing voice came to Skarla's ears as soon as she fell asleep.

“Why do you think I did something?” - Skarla asked, looking at her troubled companion.

“Let's see... maybe because you're the only bitch who seems to love fucking anything logical that exists? Come on, tell me. What did you do to not only attract the attention of a Void Beast but also hurt it to the point of making it cry?” - Sueika smiled, knowing that she had done something.

“I was trying something with my martial arts. In the process, I ended up opening a wound in the spatial fabric of my world. It took me a while to close it, and this appeared, so I expelled it and closed the fabric.” Skarla said.

“Hahaha! I knew it was you!” Sueika laughed, rubbing the tears from the corners of her eyes. “You never cease to amaze me. But you know that you ended up attracting the attention of others like me, right? A Void Beast was not only attracted to your world but also hurt. It doesn’t take a genius to know where all these events are taking place.”

“I’m not stupid. I’ve been paying attention, and I know of some suspicious individuals.” Skarla narrowed her eyes.

“Anyway, just call me. I’ll have no problem fucking some mortals who think they’re strong.” - Sueika laughed as she hugged Skarla, rubbing her hand over her muscular body. - “I see you’re stronger.”

Skarla didn't respond to that and spoke instead. - “Some of those tears ended up escaping into my world, but they simply evaporated. Do you know what happened or if there will be any consequences?”

She let go of Skarla, wearing a disgusted expression due to the rejection of her advances, and proceeded to a shelf containing several bottles. - “Void Beasts are beings that feed on stars, worlds, and dimensions, but more specifically, those that are nearing their end. But sometimes some worlds full of life end up summoning or irritating one of these beasts that decide to attack and devour worlds that are still alive.”

“The beast you hurt, for example, is just a child. It doesn’t have the strength to start an attack on worlds. So even if you're angry, you won't be able to do anything for the next 200,000 years, which will be the time for this particular beast to become a teenager and attack your world. By then, you either become a god or you die." - Sueika laughed.

“Anyway. Every part of a Void Beast’s body, without exception, is made of an incredibly dense cluster of energy. In other words, the tears were the purest and most condensed form of energy. When it disintegrated into thin air, as you say, it means that this energy was devoured by your world.”

“Is that good?” Skarla asked.

“If they were adult beasts, the energy would be corrupted with some strange energy source or concept. But in your specific case, the Void Beast is a child that has not yet manifested any specific energy or concept, so it is nothing more than a small supplement of energy for your world.”

Skarla was relieved, then asked: “What would happen if I had killed the Void Beast by chance?”

“Hahahahaha! You and your jokes. Even a demigod like me does not have the strength to kill such a freak, even in your childish state. Much less you! Only gods can ward off and frighten these aberrations, but what about killing them? Dozens of gods would need to join forces for such a feat. But if by chance you had killed her and your world absorbed all that energy, your world would most likely undergo a drastic evolution.”

“The universe as a whole is made of energy. Matter is nothing more than energy in a different form. Me, you, and everything around us, even the gods, immaterial dimensions, etc., are all nothing more than energy in different states. So if the energy of a child Void Beast were absorbed by any world, it would gain countless new continents; its size would probably double or even more. New species would emerge and much more.”

Skarla nodded. - “But don't think about provoking them. Void Beasts, especially child ones, tend to attract the attention of older ones when they feel threatened. If an adult is attracted and decides to attack, your world will not resist.”
