7 – Beginning of the Adventure!

PART 0
—————————
AC (Armor Class), what is it?
It is nothing more than the “Difficulty of Getting It Right”. Where you need to get the same result or better to hit someone.
And how is this calculated?
We have 8 as a base. Every 3 levels, +1 AC is acquired, so at Level 10, we will have 8+3 = 11 AC.
Along with this, we add Dexterity (Modifier). Let's say it is +5, so it will be 8+3+5 = 16.
But naturally, it is not limited to dexterity alone; there are skills, talents, and equipment that change, and instead of dexterity, other attributes are used to increase AC, especially because not everyone in the world focuses on improving their speed and mobility.
But in addition to attributes and levels, we have the AC provided by equipment, which is both simple and complex. Dexterity is the main attribute known to increase AC, which is related to body mobility, but if armor is equipped, depending on its type, there will be a penalty. For example:
[Full Steel Armor – +8 AC – Maximum Dexterity: +2]
Using the previous example of someone Level 10 with +5 DEX, they will lose +3 in DEX Modifier in relation to the increase in AC, but in exchange, they will receive +8, provided with the armor. That is, 16 → 13+8 = 21.
But it is worth mentioning that [Maximum Dexterity] indicates that the armor restricts certain movements. As a result, it is not just a penalty on AC but on all actions that require more precise mobility and flexibility. So unless dexterity is not required for some physical action, it will be penalized.
And with 21 AC, the individual practically becomes a walking tank or someone with an impressive dodging ability. D20+ATK needs to reach 21 or surpass it to hit you.
Of course, in the case of a 20 (Natural Critical) on the D20, it will be a 100% hit. Even if, by chance, the individual has a penalty of -5 on the attack die, it doesn't matter if 20 Natural are critical. The same is true for 1 Natural, which is a Critical Error.
I hope I explained it well enough. As for the reason for this decision?
I had created a system for [Dodge] and [Block]. I observed, I thought, I found it too complicated, and I decided to go with the basic and simple rule; it makes everything easier!

PART 1 – Beginning of the Adventure!
—————————
Talya was still very resentful about everything that was happening, but she was trying her best to be understanding.
Skarla stayed at home for another 2 days, as she also just returned from a hunt of almost 1 week. She was tired and missed her family.
As for her guide, she was nearby, always watching, and came the night of the next day after sending the letter, asking when she would leave, and Skarla said in another 2 days.
So, three days passed, with Skarla sure that everything would be fine for her family. She played with Gina a little, this greedy girl who loves to devour her milk. It's a shame she will be without it for a long time.
As for why Skarla was able to generate breast milk even though she wasn't pregnant, it was something she discovered in the middle of her research. What areas of the brain needed to be activated in a woman to make her start breastfeeding?
It was an accident, and after some experiments, she discovered the secret. In this life, she used it, and it worked. As for the real reason he did this, She was curious, and Ilyria was having problems. She went through something called “Qi Diversion”.
Skarla didn't expect it to happen, but she quickly fixed it. As for what explains this phenomenon where energies suddenly reverse and overload, causing chaos in the flow of energy?
The answer is simple. State of mind!
To practice the cultivation of internal energy in Murim, the essential thing is to always have a calm and peaceful mind; the slightest change will make you lose days, weeks, months, or even years of progress!
Ilyria, perhaps because her hormonal system was slowly stabilizing and, along with her new child, the fact that her maternal instinct had become even stronger, made her think a lot about the children she abandoned.
All of this culminated in a very complex and worrying mental state, which, during her practice to try to calm down, caused her to suffer severe damage. But now she has recovered and has learned some tricks to cool her mind.
…
Skarla, in the last 3 years, has done many missions and jobs, and after her strength was recognized in the region, she started getting more difficult jobs that rewarded her much more.
And she currently has around 2800 gold coins saved; she took 50 for travel expenses, left 2500 in the hidden safe, and left the rest for her girls.
250 gold coins is more than enough for a family of 4 to live comfortably for 3~4 years.
So without having to worry about his wife going hungry, Skarla left home. She wished she could get a little stronger before starting to venture out into the world, but since the action has already been taken, there is nothing that can be done.
……
Rustling sounded, and from behind a tree, a red-hooded figure approached and asked. "Is it ready? We can go."
“Yes, guide!” - Skarla said in a calm tone.
“Don’t you need a weapon or armor? I know you’re an Aura Master, but that doesn’t justify your lack of preparation.” - She said it calmly.
“…I kill ogres with my bare fists. His punches hit me so hard that I can barely consider them damaged. Girl, don't compare me to other Aura Masters. Always keep one thing in mind: if you are going to bet on me against 10 sword-wielding Aura Masters, always bet on me."- Said Skarla proudly.
(Author: I noticed it now in the review. What Skarla said gave me a similar vibe to Kaido.)
[Persuasion Test]
Skarla (Charisma + Persuasion) – D20+12 = 30!
Shadow of Veremor (Intelligence + Intuition) – D20+6 = 8!
Watching Skarla so proudly point at herself, she didn't react and just said. - “Well then, follow me!”
……
Skarla began following the hooded woman, as she already had all the supplies she needed.
“How long until we reach our destination?” - Skarla asked.
“In 3 days, we will arrive in the City of Balamir, where we will rent a carriage that will cover most of the way until we finally arrive in the City of Letauru, where we will continue on foot to our destination!” - She said it calmly, and Skarla nodded.
“I see… I’m curious; what exactly are you? You’re very strong, but... it feels like there’s something wrong with you.” - Skarla said calmly, scratching her chin, and she turned to look at her.
"Like this?" - She asked, and her eyes narrowed.
“Hmmm… it’s hard to explain, but I can see that your body is really strong and, in a way, perfect. He seems to be stagnant in some way, as if something is stopping him from progressing.” - Skarla said calmly.
"… this is a secret!" - She said this, turning around and continuing to walk.
“…well, aside from that part, what exactly are you? How does someone of your abilities serve the Duchess Family?” - Skarla asked.
“Please, no more questions; I’m not here to be your friend, just your guide! So keep walking with your mouth closed!” - She said it in an annoyed tone.
“Don’t you want to be my friend? In fact, you wanted to be a target even more, since you kept devouring me with your eyes.” - Skarla said in a provocative tone, and she shivered but continued walking.
“Anyway, what do I call you? I don’t even know your name for sure.” - Said Skarla.
“I am a Shadow of Veremor, a special group that serves the Veremor Family! My codename is Viper!” - She said, and Skarla nodded.
“You already know my name; you can call me by it; you don’t need honorifics; I don’t like it!” - Skarla said, and Viper nodded slightly in response before continuing driving.
—————————
PART 2 – Balamir City!
—————————
Following Viper, Skarla isn't the type to talk much, but she is the curious type and is interested in Viper—at least the secrets she hides.
Skarla certainly doesn't understand what is happening, but from her point of view, where she is extremely sensitive to ambient energy, she can “see” clearly something surrounding her body that tries to enter her body, like a mass of slightly golden and reddish energy, but it seems to be repelled, as if his body repulsed him.
She wonders what exactly this thing is, but Viper won't tell her much other than being part of the “Shadows of Veremor”, which Skarla has already assumed is a group of specially trained assassins and must have undergone experiments to make them stronger.
She hasn't seen others, but as an inhumane researcher, she can recognize a lab rat when she sees one. This makes her very curious. She wants to capture Viper and dissect her to find out what happened.
But anyway, Skarla satisfied their curiosity, and so they continued their short 3-day walk.
…
The town of Balamir is situated on the border between the Barony of Strauss and the Viscounty of Limepoa. The city is located west of the capital of the Barony of Strauss.
Skarla was curious why they came this way instead of going straight through the Marquesado de Trapom, where Viper naturally answered her to avoid further doubts.
“We do not have a good relationship with the Marquis of Trapom, just as we know that they have been negotiating with the Orcs of the Krugar Mountains, who are enemies of the Duchess. It is not good to wander through enemy territory.”
Upon hearing the reason, Skarla was not so surprised, because even though they are from the same nation, they are still nobles with their own ambitions and greed. Naturally, the Marquis, who do not have many conflicts with the Orcs, would find ways to benefit greatly from this and wouldn't mind annoying your neighbor.
There are certainly more motivations behind this; as Viper said, it seems that there is some bad relationship between them, and it shouldn't be because of the Orcs.
Anyway, Balamir City wasn't that close; it would take 7~10 days to reach ordinary people, but Skarla and Viper are not ordinary; they are both Level 10, and that's not all; they have skills that increase your movement speed.
And that was when Viper was shocked, discovering that it wasn't Skarla who was slowing her down, but herself. Viper noticed that Skarla was making minimal efforts to keep up with her as they advanced.
Upon seeing that Skarla could accompany her, she decided to test her capabilities, and she had to be amazed at how this giant woman, larger than many Orcs, managed to have such extravagant mobility and make almost no sound.
Not to mention that even though she easily weighed more than 200 kilos, Skarla literally stepped on branches and hardly broke them. She herself had to take extreme care to achieve such a feat, and Skarla did it with such ease.
Viper knew that Skarla was more than the rumors said; she needs to urgently report this to the Duchess.
…
In the City of Balamir!
The pair passed through the gates without any hassle, Viper said. - “Go to Pousada da Flame Bêbada, show that badge, and they will give you the best room and meals for free!” - After saying that and delivering something to Skarla, Viper disappeared.
Shrugging, Skarla decided to walk around the city for a bit…
[Luck – D20+5 = 8]
She was a little curious, but it wasn't much different from the City of Strauss, just less reinforced and clean, especially because it's not the capital of the barony.
But walking around, she arrived at the shopping center, where she took a look at the products; maybe she would find something new, but unfortunately she didn't find anything suitable.
And going to where we can find more special stores, such as Alchemy Shops, Forges, Magical Bookstores, etc., Skarla went to see what she could find.
At the alchemy shop, she asked about specific plants that she had been looking for for quite a while. The answers were unsatisfactory, and ignoring the alchemist's doubts, Skarla took a look at the weapons and armor sold.
Most are of inferior quality, but sometimes she finds something decent, but unfortunately, nothing is suitable for her. Why? Aura!
It turns out that the weapons and armor sold have a horrible, or practically non-existent, energy circuit. Even though aura is capable of strengthening the item's properties, excessive use will naturally damage lower-quality weapons that are unable to properly handle the flow of energy.
In this case, it is likely that in 4~6 swings, most of the weapons would be destroyed. As for the more expensive weapons that cost thousands of gold coins and are considered to be of magical quality, where in addition to being made of good-quality materials, they also have unique magical effects, there is nothing very special about them.
Even though the energy is essentially the same, the method of use, power, and other variables are different from the conventional ones in this world. As a result, Skarla is forced to make her own weapons and armor using her energy in order to develop something suitable for her.
The problem is that with this world's forging technology, it would take months to properly prepare all the materials to then begin forging, the tempering of the metal, and other time-consuming factors.
And since she was very active and, because of her abilities, it became unnecessary to use weapons and armor, she didn't bother spending her hard-earned money on things that could break easily. Not to mention that she used all the time she had for important things, so she couldn't spend months beating the metal.
But why, even with all these limitations, did Skarla still visit a forge? She wanted to see if there were any decent blacksmiths so that perhaps she could order some weapons, but unfortunately, nothing.
As for the problem of energy circulation, as long as the last processes are not completed, Skarla knows how to complete the process of creating a weapon with your requirements.
But everything disappointed her, so ignoring everything and going to the magical bookstores, she looked at some magical scrolls before asking. - “Where can I find a magic tattoo artist?”
“Tattoo artist? I know a very skilled one. Turn that corner and go to the first alley you find. Go to the end, and you will find a bookstore.” - Said the shopkeeper, smiling, and Skarla nodded before going there.
And there, she found a woman in her 40s reading a book on wind element magic theory. When she saw Skarla entering, she received her with respect, and Skarla got straight to the point.
“I wish for a magical contraceptive tattoo.” - Skarla said calmly.
“Of course, do you want me to seal the entrance to your tubes?” - She smiled, and Skarla said. - “Yes, but I also want the inability to generate sperm.”
“Sperm- ah!” -She quickly understood when her eyes went down and she noticed the volume between Skarla's legs, making her wonder how big that thing was.
“Do you want a permanent one or a temporary one?” - She asked curiously.
“Temporary.” - Said Skarla, preferring the temporary one for a simple reason: it lasts months and is cheap; the permanent one has the option to activate and deactivate it; but it is much more expensive; it costs at least 10,000 gold coins.
Nobles have such tattoos, as this world is very cruel and no one wants to be forced to get pregnant. While in the worlds where Skarla lived, virginity, that is, purity, was extremely important, in this world, it is not that important.
The important thing is not to get pregnant in the case of women. As long as they don't have children, they will still have value, but the moment they get pregnant, they lose a lot of that value.
Anyway, Skarla paid 100 gold coins for the tattoo, which will last 3 months; she will have to renew it later.
As for why she needs this tattoo, Obviously, it's because she doesn't know what to expect, since even legends can fall into the clutches of a powerful aberration and become his plaything.
There are many stories of how powerful Level 10 Warriors, strong and proud, end up falling into the clutches of the atrocious goblins and their great numbers.
Not to mention that she herself doesn't know what to expect from herself since, in recent years, she has relaxed a lot and her libido has increased a lot. As a result, she fears that she will end up having a relationship with a woman and getting pregnant.
……
After receiving the tattoo, a process that took around 3 hours, Skarla paid and left. As for her studies on the magic of this world, Skarla has not progressed much, since to officially learn magic, you need a suitable teacher, as it is extremely difficult to become a self-taught person.
Therefore, Skarla only focused on what she knew for now. She knows that, at her current rate, she can easily live to be 200~250 years old. Even though she still doesn't have such a long life expectancy, where she believes she has around 150 years of life expectancy, until she reaches 100 years of core energy, she believes she will reach that level.
Not to mention that those at Level 11 and above also gain a few more decades in life expectancy, but she doesn't know how that works.
…
Pousada da Chama Bêbada!
"Hello, my beautiful lady, how can I help you?” - At the reception, a handsome man in his 30s smiled flatteringly while devouring Skarla with his eyes.
‘Could it be a little more obvious?’ Skarla thought sarcastically as she took out what Viper had given her, a beautiful and noble emblem.
The man is seeing this. - “Oh, I see, we already have everything prepared!” - Saying this, he turned around with a more respectful expression, taking the key to one of the rooms and handing it to Skarla.
“Your room is on the 3rd floor; the red door is on the right; the number is on the key; there’s no way you can get lost!” - He said it calmly.
Taking the key, Skarla went to look at the room. Realizing that it was relatively luxurious accommodation, perhaps the best the city has to offer. Because the region is not very prosperous, it is difficult to find very luxurious things in the barony.
So from the outside, Skarla only saw that it was a more beautiful and decorated establishment, but she didn't think much, as she literally came from a modern world, then to the Murim world, where the landscape and structures are always large.
Without mentioning that in her last life, she was no different from a noble, naturally she saw many gigantic and prosperous cities, even if only in a subtle way.
In any case, Skarla evaluated her spacious room, which, with a large bed, seems to be made to accommodate even people of greater height like her. In this world, it is not uncommon for humans to be 250~300 cm tall. Skarla is relieved that she has not reached such heights.
She does not want to compete with Alcina Dimitrescu for the title of ‘giant mommy’.
…
After assessing the room and leaving her things there, she went to order something to eat. Since everything was being paid for by her contractor, Skarla took the best.
Filling her stomach, Skarla wanted to be able to share this with Talya and Ilyria—a shame, so she will enjoy it for 3!
…
“We will leave in 2 days!” - A calm voice sounded. Skarla was not bothered and continued to eat, but to respond, she raised her hand and a thumb.
With her response, Viper looked before sitting down to accompany her, and moments later, food was served to her.
“And I thought you didn’t want to be social with me.” -Skarla said, smiling as she cleaned a fatty and juicy steak; it was perfectly cooked!
Viper didn't respond delicately; she ate silently, but her curiosity made her break her own silence and say - “You are strange; you show great delicacy, contradictory to what it appears, but you demonstrate brutality and lack of manners, which would be the most common seen in people of your type... Do you have that mental problem that we call bipolar?”
"Hmm? No, I don't have that. I’m just like that, so you better get used to it!” - Said Skarla unconcerned.
She has literally lived for more than 100 years, having lived through dozens of cultures to date, most of which naturally came from her first life, since, as a genius individual who learned many languages, she naturally traveled to enroll in the best colleges in the world!
In this process, she had to adapt to the cultures and mannerisms of those people, so she ended up in Murim, having to adapt to life as a poor and despised person, surrounded by the prejudice of Asians.
Then she died and became a noble, learning her etiquette. Even though she practically isolated herself later, she still learned a lot.
And now we have this life, starting in a tribe, naturally adapting to their savage way of being, then coming to “civilization”, having to learn the current customs.
In other words, Skarla has lived so much and learned so many things that it is natural that she ends up getting confused about how to act in such situations, which is why her actions, speech, and even emotions can be quite contradictory to herself.
Well, did you expect Skarla not to have the aftereffects of dying twice? Going through so many painful processes that modify your body and brain capabilities? It's natural for her to not be in the best of her mind, but it's not like it's something very harmful to her current self.
…
“One question: is it just the two of us?” - Skarla asked.
"No. There will be another guest and his guide; they will accompany us to our destination, where it has already been decided that I will be their guide and my companion has already been sent to the next mission.” - Viper said calmly, and Skarla nodded.
“May I know who our traveling companion will be?” - Skarla asked.
“You will find it in the day!” - Viper said, and Skarla sighed, shrugged, and turned her attention to the meal.
—————————
PART 3 – New Companion!
—————————
2 days later!
Skarla stood before dawn at the south gate of the City of Balamir, waiting patiently until Viper arrived, accompanied by a tall man with white hair and features that make him appear to be around his 30s.
Even though the climate is relatively hot, this man wears heavy clothing and chain mail armor with leather parts.
Skarla watched him, knowing he was not weak. Compared to everyone he's seen so far, he has something special, as if he has greater freedom, as if the world doesn't restrict him as much as she and others do.
‘Level 11 or more!’ - Skarla thought.
“Skarla, this is Edric Wholfe; he will accompany us!” -Viper said calmly, pointing to the man who, maintaining a stern and aggressive expression, approached Skarla.
Skarla looked him in the eyes, feeling that he was looking into the eyes of a wild beast. Edric is not short; he is around 195 cm tall, but compared to her, he is short!
Edric narrowed his eyes, trying to analyze Skarla, but she didn't give in, and Viper just watched. Even though she seemed indifferent, she was attentive and ready to act.
“You’re strong, and you don’t hesitate; I like that. I’ll be able to trust my back to someone like you!” - He said he was smiling and extended his hand, where Skarla returned the greeting.
“A pleasure, Skarla!” - Skarla said calmly, and they both shook their fists.
“Edric Wholfe, of the White Wolf Clan, I come from beyond the Krugas Mountains, the lands of the north!” - He said it proudly.
“I’ve heard about it, but I’ve never been there.” - Said Skarla, knowing that in that region with long stretches of snowy land, it was home to many Viking tribes and civilizations.
"Where are you from?" - Edric asked curiously.
“I was born in the Krugar Mountains, but I left there three years ago.” - Said Skarla.
“Given your age, you must have experienced war when you were young. I feel sorry for you.” - Edric said lightly.
“Don’t be sorry; we lost because we were weak, simple, and direct! In the end, the strong devour and use the weak as they see fit."- Skarla said carelessly, and Edric smiled. - “I like this; I’m going to use it!” - Skarla shrugged.
…
The prepared carriage was large enough to accommodate the three of them without any problems; even with Skarla's excessive height, she was still comfortable inside.
Skarla and Edric talked about random things, with Edric talking about his glorious hunts as well as his proud sons and daughters; he had 14, as well as his five beautiful wives.
Initially, Edric was trying to be charming, but as soon as Skarla said she had one daughter and was hoping for another, Edric quickly associated her; since she is obviously not pregnant, the volume that sometimes appears between her legs and the peculiar smell he smells from her—all of this culminates in him knowing that Skarla is a futanari!
With that, he changed his approach from trying to get some chips to simply being friendly with Skarla and maintaining a good relationship.
As for Viper, Edric tried to talk to her, but she was like the Shadow of Veremor that guided him until then, cold and distant, but it seems that Viper is at least more communicative.
…
“What do you think the duchess’s request will be? It must be something very dangerous for them not to give us the information.” - Edric asked while Viper stood in the corner with his eyes closed.
“I don't know how many like Viper there are, but I would say their number is no less than 20. It means that if at least half were sent to recruit individuals of our level, we would have 10 formidable experts at the very least. A mission from someone of the rank of duchess, needing so many powerful experts, indicates that it is a secret mission that has to do with the Krugar Mountains, Makaulu, and their army, perhaps some assassination. Or it’s another problem that I’m not aware of, and that’s urgent.” - Skarla said, scratching her chin.
Edric and Viper were amazed by her words, because, as said before, Skarla doesn't appear to be the most intelligent type, but if they knew that she has a +10 Intelligence Modifier, they would certainly be shocked.
“Why can’t it just be a help to annihilate the orcs?” - Edric asked.
“I don’t believe they would call us just for something like that; it’s more advantageous to hire a mercenary group with dozens to hundreds of members rather than a few experts above Level 11.” - Said Skarla.
Even if someone's strength at Level 11 already falls into the supernatural category, it doesn't mean they would be a war machine. Perhaps with an allied army, they could kill dozens to hundreds of enemies, but alone, it wouldn't take long for them to die.
In the end, everyone is still human unless they reach Level 21+, as that is the level of Legends, which Skarla would perhaps compare to [Supreme Martial Masters], that is, the strength she had at her peak.
In other words, the current classification is:
Level 1~10 = Mundane.
Level 11~20 = Supernatural.
Level 21~?? = Legend.
Those of the supernatural level are powerful but still humans, and with numbers, it is possible to kill them. As for the legends, even with numbers, it is impossible to kill them without incredibly powerful beings to challenge them.
…
The two argued until it was time for the horses to rest and the camp to be broken.
Viper said he would be taking care of the night watch so they could sleep or do whatever he wanted. It turns out that since they met, Skarla has never seen Viper sleeping, and asking Edric, he confirmed that the Shadow of Veremor that accompanied him never slept either.
Skarla went to meditate, increasing her core energy by a few more days.
…
The night had fallen, and the cold wind was blowing. Skarla finished her meditation, stood up, and spread her senses, detecting nothing suspicious.
She then found Viper standing in front of the crackling fire, staring at her. She looked like a corpse, but as it was possible to feel her breathing, Skarla didn't mind.
[Perception – D20+14 = 16] (Failure)
Skarla tried to investigate Viper a little more, but unfortunately didn't find anything that she hadn't already noticed. Viper is probably an experiment to make her physically and mentally stronger, making her the ideal assassin.
But it seems that whoever did this process still kept her human, as Viper certainly has feelings. Skarla was unable to detect anything on the surface suggesting that she maintained any control or restraint over Viper and his actions.
Of course, she doesn't know many things about this world, and as she hasn't had the chance to investigate Viper's interior, it's difficult to draw conclusions.
"Some problem?" - Asked Viper, who naturally felt Skarla's gaze.
“Just curious; you can ignore me.” - Skarla said, smiling.
“…what is this you do every day? I feel like you’re doing something, which isn’t an ordinary meditation, but I don’t know what it is.” - Viper asked, and Skarla, sitting down, responded.
“It’s a secret technique I developed; it makes me stronger, but well, it’s secret!” - Skarla said with a wink, and Viper remained indifferent. - “So, since we're already going on this mission anyway, what do you think you give us details about what we'll be risking our lives for?” - Skarla asked, smiling.
“I am prohibited from giving such information. You will need to hear from the duchess herself.” - Viper said, and Skarla sighed.
“You don’t sleep, do you? You can go to sleep; I’ll take care of things.” - Said Skarla.
“There is no need; I have an ability that allows me to stay awake. I don’t suffer any penalties.” - Viper said, and Skarla looked at her and said. - “What a useless skill!”
Viper was surprised, and Skarla continued. - “Why waste one of your precious slots on this? It would be better to train to decrease your sleep rate until you get a talent.”
Hearing this, she fell silent, and Skarla continued. - “Talents are nothing more than a free and permanent version of skills, where simple actions are given as a gift. For example, the night vision that most races have from birth—we humans are not born with this, but through adaptability and training, we can develop a talent, and as far as I know, there is an ability for this, even if it has other effects together."
“I understand your point, but to transform skill effects into talents, one needs to know the correct training, and it usually takes many decades to transform skill effects into talents!” - Viper said.
“…” - Skarla was silent; why?
[Sleep Resistance(III)]
– You have high energy reserves and unique methods of replenishing them even without decent sleep. You can stay for days, even a week, without suffering penalties for lack of sleep.
Skarla literally received this talent already at Level 3, as she practically doesn't need to stay awake for a long time. She didn't train it much, because if she had done the same as in the past, controlling her own brain's metabolism with World Energy so that even when awake, as long as it was not carrying out actions that require large brain capacities, it would continue without damage.
If you did, going one year without sleeping wouldn't be a problem, especially because meditation and cultivation help a lot to avoid the need for sleep. Meditation is often better than sleeping.
“If you want, I can help you with that.” - Skarla said calmly.
"Like this?" - Viper was confused. What can Skarla help you with?
“I can help you develop the [Sleep Resistance] talent, so you won’t need to spend 1 skill slot on it.” - Said Skarla unconcerned.
“How will you do that?” - Viper was confused and naturally didn't believe it.
Standing up, Skarla went to her and said. - “Sit in front of me and lower your hood and veil. I will use my secret techniques to strengthen your mind and make something natural for your body. Even if it’s not as efficient as the skill, you can train it.”
Viper narrowed her eyes, then said. - "It is not necessary."
"… OK!" - Skarla shrugged her shoulders and went back to her seat, as she didn't want help. It was fine.
