This time, Edrick didn't go accompanied by anyone, and he also took some time to visit some of those back alley shops his wives talked about, but found nothing really interesting, they only had simple cultivation techniques and the likes, so he didn't linger for long and went to the bar, like last time, it was packed despite the time of day.
Men were flirting with women of other species, or at least trying to, as it seemed like they weren't that fond of getting beastfolks and the likes in their bed, more-so that they were only here because it was basically the only place they could find prostitutes to take care of their touch-starved sausages.
He went up to the counter and was quickly approached by the same halfling barmaid as last time.
"Hello handsome, back for some more?" she smiled seductively, the fact that a halfling would be better at handling his trouser snake than human women was certainly quite something.
"Not quite, but maybe later… I am here to see your boss, I was told that he wanted to talk to me" he replied, the barmaid nodded and went to fetch a somewhat tall man with a thick mustache, he was a bit pale and his hair reflected light nearly as well as the polished skull of a bald man.
"Follow me" he said in a low tone, leading Anoteros into the room were they stored all the barrels of alcohol, pushing a heavy barrel out of the way with a bit of difficulty, revealing a hidden door hidden behind, Edrick just looked down, the traces of the barrel having been pushed back and forth were clear to see on the ground.
'Amateur…' unless all people that would investigate this place were blind, they would quickly suspect that something was behind that barrel.
The barman did noy noticed Edrick's gaze and just unlocked the door, turning the key a few times and pushed it open, revealing a rather lavish interior, it was as clean as it could be, with walls covered with some sort of soft material, and coloured pink, the room was a bit small overall but pretty comfortable, at the very hand, there was a spacious bed that had been fashioned into a cage.
Upon it, was a most mesmerising sight, dressed in a simple nightgown, seated upon the soft-looking bed in a W-sitting position, it was a most adorable vision.
Skin as white as snow, lips an attractive rosy, nails an obsidian black, providing a nice contrast from the rest.
Hair the exact same colour as the body, allowed to fall loosely upon the lower back, appearing as gentle to the touch as the finest of silks.
Eyes an enchanting, glamourising bright pink, seeming to shine like precious gems- Eyelashes the same pure white as the skin and hair, with a fuzzy appearance, like the hair of some moths.
Wiggling and tapping against the bed at an odd tempo, was a thin, black tail ending with a spade-like protuberance, the appendage's presence subtly raised the nightgown up, making for a most breath-halting image.
Lastly, a pair of sleek black horns grew from the forehead, they slowly curved up toward the ceiling, even the pointy end seemed nice and gentle to the touch.
In short, a most beautiful girl was in the cage, paying no heed to visitors, instead blankly staring down, through the bars of her cell, at the wall.
Edrick saw a system window flicker in and then immediately out of existence, as though his system was trying to let him know something.
'Mmh…' Anoteros showed no reaction, and instead glanced over to the barman, who did the same and showed an expression at last, a smile.
"What do you think? Isn't she gorgeous?"
"Her name is Luxuli, and let me tell you, she is a rarity, a Docilis Succubus like herself is already incredibly hard to run into, you see- They take their name as succubi from the fact that they generally feed themselves through intercourse with men, but they are a shy sort and do not possess the charming or other abilities of true succubi, that is because they aren't actually related to them, they just happened to share one specificity and were called as such…" he explained with a bright expression, as though he had rehearsed this moment countless times to get it right.
"...But, they make for most excellent dual cultivation partners, the flow of energy, its quality and the likes are said to increase by several notch when done with one such as Luxuli, not to mention that she won't get tired"
The barman put his hands behind his back.
"They live long as well, she will remain young and pretty whilst multiple generations of humans can be born, and grow old"
Standing tall, he kept going.
"Not to mention, Luxuli is a virgin, she has never tasted the 'fruit' as they say, so you would understand that her worth is high, even non-dual cultivators would want to have her for themselves"
'Come on, ask for the price!'
"Can she not talk?" Edrick couldn't help but notice the girl's total unresponsiveness throughout the entirety of the barman's speech, not even a glance, just stuck in place staring at the same exact portion of the wall the whole time.
"She… She knows how to speak NImeri, but tends to default to Loronaii, though, getting a response out of her is a bit difficult, she tends to be off into her own world- But it only adds to her charm!"
"Hum, from what I heard, her kind may not have the mystifying power of true succubi, but they have some pretty interesting capabilities… They can control how tight they are, they can magically take more length than normal, their tails are particularly dexterous, if you see what I mean- And their horns are much more durable than they look!"
"And not to forget that they are part of demonkind, so she's stronger, and tougher than she looks"
Edrick only spared the barman a glance, he seemed awfully eager to get rid of her.
"Is something the matter with her?" he walked up to the cage, and crouched in front of her, only then did she move, barely moving her head to look him in the eyes.
But she remained impassive.
"No, she's fine… It is simply that feeding her and caring for her health is rather expensive, it would cost nothing for you however, since you would just be able to let her nourish herself during bedroom activities"
The barman coughed, having kept the best for last.
"Moreover, thanks to the fact that she would be under your control through the slave collar, you can simply order her to form a bond with you… It is very convenient, you'll be able to let her dwell within your soul and call her whenever you require, meaning that she would remain hidden from the public's eye…"
