‘What We Are’
Edrick was all dressed up, and he was sitting by the open window, smoking his wooden pipe in silence until he noticed that Zhicheng was waking up.
“Looks like the sleeping beauty is back”
He chuckled, casually placing his wooden pipe in a small box before putting it away and standing up from the chair as he shut the window.
“B-Big Alrin…”
“You can just call me Edrick when we’re not having sex. It would be awkward if you called me that in public, wouldn’t it?”
“Ah… Yes!”
The twink turned red from embarrassment at the mere thought of himself committing such a blunder. Especially when he said it with so much lust dripping from his expression.
Surprisingly, his flooded pit was now lacking in any of Edrick’s seed. It had all been absorbed into his body to serve as nutrients and a cultivation booster, meaning that he was now completely rid of the white elixir. Leaving only sweat, and although he was now well-rested, the tiredness of having been roughly pounded for so long remained. Not to mention that his own white stuff wasn’t going to go away on its own…
He would have to do some cleaning on his Alrin left, but that was more than worth it for the pleasure he experienced. He just wished that Anoteros would kiss him–As Zhenluo would sometimes do. But he was aware of what the tentacular crest covering his back meant. If he wanted to one day exchange a kiss with his ‘Big Alrin’, he would have to rise in rank.
“You did a good job, Zhicheng. Zhenluo and I were correct in believing that you would be a good fit for the job”
The praise made Zhicheng feel warm on the inside. Though confusion came to interrupt this sensation as Anoteros brought out a book from a bag the lesser scion hadn’t even noticed Edrick had brought.
“I went to pay a visit to Red Mansion recently. As you might have heard, I’ve been visiting our vassal sects and striking deals with them. However, it is also an opportunity to acquire some fitting cultivation techniques for now or the future… Speaking of which, I drained your virility while we were having sex, but I doubt you can notice the difference, my little twink”
The greater scion handed the book to Zhicheng.
“In any case, Red Mansion is a very traditional dual cultivation sect, and when it comes to dual cultivation, I am not very traditional. Their techniques would clash with my ways. Even the vault containing unused techniques didn’t have anything that was a good suit for me… But it did have this”
The cover of the book read:
Lust Vessel
Edrick cracked his fingers one by one.
“It is a cross between dual cultivation and spell cultivation. You can read it for yourself later, but basically… It will help you acclimate to your sexual partners, and you will start to learn new spells depending on said partners. It is a powerful technique, but it changes its user quite thoroughly. Hence, it can only be used by someone who hasn’t cultivated at all. Moreover, the user needs a strong devotion toward the partners for it to work”
“These flaws serve as limitations, making it a powerful technique for those who fit the bill–Such as yourself”
Anoteros smirked.
“You can start cultivating it right now. My ‘presence’ will remain on you for a while. That will satisfy the condition of the technique”
Zhicheng stared at the book for a few seconds in silence.
“So… I will develop spells depending on the cultivation techniques used by you and Zhenluo?”
“Precisely”
“Then… It means that I will have darkness spells… From the Cult Of The Heart Of Darkness…”
Anoteros sighed. He didn’t need to hear more to know what the problem was.
“You’re still feeling resistant to learning supposedly evil cultivation techniques, are you?”
Zhicheng shrank under his gaze.
“Y-Yes… I’m sorry…”
“Listen, I think you’re an idiot for thinking like this, but I am capable of putting myself in your shoes and grasping your reasoning. You want to do good, but you feel that our clan and our vassals are evil, right?”
Zhicheng nodded hesitantly.
“I won’t spout bullshit and tell you that there is no such thing as good or evil, but things aren’t as black and white as you imagine, Zhicheng. We at the Elt clan might be unsavoury characters who do objectively bad things, but it is only bad from an outsider’s perspective. This is what we are. It is in our instinct to be like this. And why would we change when this very behaviour is what led us to becoming a great clan and a trusted force to the crown?”
“To Leynlornd, we are a force of good. We are protectors of this country… If this isn’t enough for you, then just think of a lion killing a baby hyena. It might seem unnecessary and evil, but controlling the population of a rival species is nothing but logical reasoning and necessary to maximise the survival odds of the lion’s own species”
“The Elt clan is that lion”
Zhicheng seemed to understand what Edrick was getting at, but he wasn’t too convinced.
“I’m afraid… That you are spouting bullshit, Edrick…”
There was silence.
“Ahahahah! You have some guts for a twink-slut, Zhicheng! But you are right–The comparison doesn’t hold up one bit. The Elt does do a lot of unnecessary evil–Especially the vassal sects we sponsor and support–But you know what? It doesn’t matter. Not only does our existence do a lot of good to this nation and its people, but we are the resident evil and scary bunch of this country. It is part of our schtick to be the way that we are”
“The goal is that when people hear something along the lines of: ‘The Elt clan will take care of this’, is that those who will be taken care of are scared witless. So be an Elt, and do some evil for the good of Leynlornd. That’s what our country and our people need from you”
Anoteros laughed heartily in a way Zhicheng had never seen before, and he was honestly terrified. The laugh was genuine, but seeing Edrick laugh so hysterically about this was off-putting, to say the least.
“Anyway… You’ve always chased after Zhenluo despite her being in close-knit with the Cult Of The Heart Of Darkness, and we both know that if I pulled out my cock right now, you would be sucking on it within the next second. You are already willing to bend your morals for this, so why not bend them some more? Besides, just because you are an Elt doesn’t mean that you have to sacrifice people or eat newborns, you know? You can just be a good guy”
“You can leave the ‘evil’ stuff to me, Zhicheng. Practice this technique as much as you can. I promise that I’ll be back for more soon enough… Actually, let’s say next Vekenag. Yep, I’ll be gaping that twink-hole of yours next Vekenag. It’s decided. Look forward to it, my good little slut”
Edrick left the room, leaving behind Zhicheng full of conflicting emotions and thoughts. He was both pensive about what he had heard, but also incredibly excited about the promise.
‘Urgh… I… I think he’s right. I am my own person. I can decide my own actions…’
“Wait…”
The lesser scion suddenly rose from the bed, slamming the door shut as Edrick had left it wide open despite Zhicheng still being stark naked with his feminine body exposed.
…Zhicheng didn’t realise it, but if Edrick had wanted, he could have just given an order. With the Servant Crest the twink bore, he wouldn’t have questioned anything his master told him. However, Anoteros had gone ahead and given him a lesson to think about instead.
A very effective lesson…
