The Great Composite Technique

The bloodlines, or rather, the bloodline on its own, proved to be amazing, but there were also the cultivation techniques he had acquired.

Underwood Elf Champion Unique Cultivation Technique - Works In Unison With The Bloodline Of The Same Name, Improving The Capabilities Granted By The Bloodline As Well As Unlocking New Abilities. Increases Efficiency And Power Of Invisibility In General. Increases Agility, Dexterity, And Stealth.

Naturally, there was the technique the system had given him alongside its associated bloodline. This one had received an overall enhancement as well, just like the bloodline of the same name. However, the interesting stuff lay in what was new.

Underblood Elf Champion Unique Cultivation Technique - Works In Unison With The Bloodline Of The Same Name, Improving The Capabilities Granted By The Bloodline As Well As Unlocking New Abilities. Increases Efficiency And Power Of Blood-Related Abilities In General. Increases Affinity With Rituals And Body Marks.

Anoteros was quite excited about this one, as it included ‘blood-related abilities in general’, which sounded vague enough that it could potentially mean that Edrick had just gotten his hands on a cultivation technique capable of harmonising with bloodlines as a whole–Which could be big... Especially since he was proving to be quite the collector in this domain.

Even if not technically too rare for members of great clans, the young noble already had a pretty ridiculous amount of them at his disposal–Especially considering his age.

If he could add to this an innate affinity for all that is blood-related, he would be set for a clean path forward when it came to cultivation…

Undersky Elf Champion Unique Cultivation Technique - Works In Unison With The Bloodline Of The Same Name, Improving The Capabilities Granted By The Bloodline As Well As Unlocking New Abilities. Increases Efficiency And Power Of Crops And Fertility-Related Abilities In General. Increases Constitution And Affinity To Nature Resources.

This one was quite interesting as well. The bloodline granted the ability to improve land fertility. The technique went further by also mentioning crops themselves rather than only the land, as well as everything having to do with fertility. Indeed, Edrick had once again gained something which made him more fertile–And by a large margin, he would assume.

Since it improved fertility-related abilities, it meant that it was an upgrade that affected several things for him. Therefore, he could only assume that once the acclimation process was over, his fertility would once again shoot upwards… If this went on, Anoteros may soon be able to impregnate the infertile…

Apart from this, it specifically worked to increase constitution, which made sense, since Undersky Elves seemed to be farmers. More notably, however, the affinity to ‘nature’ resources seemed to imply that Edrick would be able to boost the efficiency of resources that could be produced naturally and so on. He would just have to see whether it only applied to the raw products or if it extended to pills, potions, and the like–As long as they were made from the right stuff.

Baumsaftgar Champion Unique Cultivation Technique - Works In Unison With The Bloodline Of The Same Name, Improving The Capabilities Granted By The Bloodline As Well As Unlocking New Abilities. Increases Efficiency And Power Of Tribal-Related Abilities In General. Increases Strength.

This one was comparatively simpler, being in line with the bloodline, and providing a strength boost instead of constitution… Edrick was getting the feeling that Baumsaftgars were indeed a very simple-minded species, and that they were possibly not quite sapient. This made him believe that their so-called ‘tribal’ ability was something passive that they didn’t need to actually pour focus into.

The fact that it focused on improving strength was very much welcome, though.

Blutgar Champion Unique Cultivation Technique - Works In Unison With The Bloodline Of The Same Name, Improving The Capabilities Granted By The Bloodline As Well As Unlocking New Abilities. Increases Efficiency And Power Of Ambient Energy-Related Abilities In General. Increases All Physical Stats.

The Blutgar-related technique was similar to that of the Baumsaftgar–Which might have to do with their very obviously similar naming scheme. This bloodline focused on the main trait of the Red Guardian, while improving all physical traits rather than a single one.

…Still, the best part about these five techniques was that they were melded into a single one. This meant that not only was Anoteros in possession of an incredibly powerful technique that was literally worth more than five unique ones, but it would also allow him to cultivate all of them at once, without having to waste time on several techniques. The process would be much swifter thanks to this.

True Champion Of Eltysia - Works In Unison With The Bloodline Of The Same Name, Grants An Improved Version Of All The Bonuses Granted By The Techniques Making It Up. Improves All Aspects Of One's Self. Increases Bond With The Realm Of Eltysia

The description was short but sweet. It did not just strengthen the physical body of Edrick. It encompassed everything about him, whilst also improving his connection to the realm… It was a shame that he couldn’t practise it right now due to having to digest all the changes that were occurring to him, but the scion did not mind.

He sat down in meditation directly upon the ground, circulating his energy to smoothen the process of assimilation. Anoteros needed to get used to having had his entire skeletal structure reformed, all the while dealing with the repercussions of absorbing an incredibly powerful bloodline.

It took him an entire week to do this. The sheer amount of nourishment he had received in the process of digesting the great bloodline had been enough to allow him to remain completely still for this entire duration–And when he opened his eyes again, it felt like he had been reborn once more.

He clenched his right fist, feeling much more powerful than before… Edrick had never experienced such a sudden leap in strength, and it was all without actually making progress with a cultivation technique. It was just a sheer accumulation of goods.

Anoteros looked at his palms and the back of his hands, soon standing up, stumbling slightly... But not because he had been unmoving with his legs crossed for so long.

‘That’s what I thought… I got bigger and taller, enough for it to be noticeable’

The young noble had grown five centimeters taller, bringing him to a height of two meters and twenty centimeters. He had also grown wider overall, as well as heavier. It might not seem like much, but it was a flat improvement to his natural physique. It might actually be where a good portion of his power boost came from…

‘Good thing I wear ample clothing. The increase wasn’t excessive, but it would have definitely ripped clothes on the tighter sides of things’

He would have liked to test himself, but as expected, Eltysia sensed that he had digested everything–And she was impatient. Anoteros wasn’t planning on making a lady wait, either… He was quite curious about what she had to offer him in bed.
