One Month

Despite commemorating the new bed by testing its durability for a good portion of the night, Edrick still ended up having his wives taking care of his morning wood when he woke up, his cleansing elixir was preventing them from getting all sore after rigorous sessions, so naturally, as long as they could move they wanted to get up-close with him.

Thankfully, he had already brought a few books nearby and just read as they salivated all over his club, they were both very good individually now, but the teamwork was many times more impressive, they never forgot a single spot as they took turns, always trying to go further than the previous time despite having already reached the limit of what was physically possible, but full of hopes and dreams alongside a distinct lack of gag reflex, kept trying they did.

Meanwhile, Anoteros focused on the content of the book, another one about energy circulation that he hadn't read back at the library, this was a bit above the mere basics however, as it went over how to safely make an energy take sharp turns, apparently, this one way of moving energy was important enough to get an entire book about it alone.

Many of the advanced cultivation techniques would demand the user to circulate energy in this manner, which wasn't exactly simple as energy was neither liquid, solid or gaseous in nature, it was what it was and although it was common to compare its flow to running water, it was but a mere image.

Making it follow a certain course was simple on the surface, Edrick had managed to do that in the snap of a finger, but energy was still subject to fluctuations and the path one might want energy to take might be a bit off to what they end up getting, Anoteros had made it follow his bloodstream which seemed to render that issue much less serious as he had basically confined his energy flow to that of his blood with the same boundaries.

But being a rookie in the matter meant that his control was perfect despite the great method used.

'That is only a matter of practice however…' he paid more attention to the so-called sharp turns, the point of it all was that energy was like a pen better suited to draw a circle than squares, to do the latter, you would have to sort-of brute force things, the regular person's energy would resist being controlled in such a way.

The sharper the turn, the more resistance there would be, the advice was to manipulate energy into a straight line and slowly bent it little by little over the course of multiple weeks to get it used to be handled in this manner, the same was true for the next book he grabbed, sharp turns was basically the gateway to earning a true mastery over the inner energy flow, it was from there that one would begin to 'train' their inner energy to follow their wishes.

As some cultivation techniques would get awfully convoluted with what you needed to do to use them, the shapes demanded looked more and more like terrible geometrical figures that would make children cry for having to deal with them as homework.

Edrick raised his head up slightly, Fanqia and Linmin were still just as ravenously over his one-headed hydra as they had been at the start in spite of their beloved husband paying absolutely no attention to them.

Right now, Fanqia decided to smother the untiring serpent with her twin peaks, as she and Linmin rapidly swung their tongues at the creature's head in an attempt to get it to spew its alluring breath of nectar.

But Edrick was already reading another book, intent on learning all intricacies of energy circulation to ensure that his future usage of cultivation technique was to the best possible level, as the whole point of them was to nourish thanks to that circulation, if it wasn't done properly, the gains would be lesser than intended.

Anoteros wanted to be as close to perfection as was possible, to him, it was senseless to do something without at least attempting to near absolute and total perfection, so he read more upon the main foundation of cultivation.

Apart from the shapes and such, energy circulation could also be manipulated in many other ways, the inner energy could be changed and weaned in many different manners, the speed, the temperature… The flow of energy could also be divided into multiple ones within the same body, energy could even be made to consume nutriments.

'Mmh, so it isn't as simple as having the cultivation technique in some cases… Certain will require additional resources' he even saw that the state of one's body affected the energy flow and was thus, also in use in certain techniques.

'Welp, I read all the books I had put here' he though, still not granting his wives any treat for their efforts and instead opened his system to check a few things, he hadn't looked to see if his actions if the librarian had done anything there, of course, the sudden intercourse had earned him the usual rewards.

'A bit more than expected… Especially since she agreed to it, does the system find her valuable in some way?'

*In general, cultivators and alike are worth a bit more than regular folks*

As serviceable as usual, the system answered his interrogation.

'That girl is a cultivator? I guess it makes senses, no one important wants to waste time as a librarian, but they wouldn't just put a regular person to watch over their stock of knowledge'

Although she had not given the impression, if the librarian was a cultivator, it meant that he could get rougher with her in the future, she ought to be more durable than normal.

Thinking about what he would be able to do with her, he opened the list of quests, since he hadn't moved around much, only a single mission had been added.

*Over the course of a month from when you begin this quest, progressively ravish Librarian Hui into more and more public areas of the library, the closer you get to getting caught the better! Actually getting caught is not a problem either*

This mission was actually written in silver, meaning that the rewards were either great in amount or high in quality.

*Rewards : Enhancement to your energy circulation, increase of your physical limits (The former is subject to the level of success of the mission, the latter is not)*

'That is an absolute win'

"It's coming, don't spill any drop" Fanqia and Linmin were startled into focus as Edrick finally decided to stop holding it in, propelling a strong geyser.

"And then you'll present your hindquarters to your lord, I am in the mood for some more"
