New Elixir

Gold Is Gold - Dominate The Partners Of Others With Greater Ease. Increases The Chances Of the Target Falling For You. When Someone Else's Partner Has Their Affection Shift To You, You Earn One 'Gold'. The More 'Gold' Is Gathered, The More Money Is Awarded By The System For Every Completed Quest

The money-making prospect of this ability was indeed impressive. It seemed tailored to push him toward targeting couples, a fitting ability considering what had just been done with Milerva Oie. Though the conditions were not so simple to meet, as even with the boosts granted, stealing someone’s partner, not just for one night, but affectionately as well, is no easy task.

If love is truly present, then Edrick could at most present an opportunity for infidelity. But just because he was better in bed, it did not mean that he would be viewed as better than the loved partner.

‘Well, I’ll see how it goes in the future… There are probably a lot of couples that are easy to separate anyway…’ he thought to himself, moving on to the three consumable items the trio of quests had awarded him.

Inner Organ Reinforcing Tonic - Strengthens Internal Organs

Outer Organ Reinforcing Tonic - Strengthens External Organs

The first two were rather simplistic in what they did. One would enhance all of the organs within him, whilst the other would instead reinforce the organs that stick out from his body.

Now, the real question here was what counted as an organ. Some might say that ‘organ’ only refers to things like your heart and lungs. But there was also the genitalia, or the eyes, which were called organs at times. Even the tongue was called a ‘muscular organ’. So if the range of these potions was broad, the amount of things about himself that they would reinforce would be significant.

He shrugged and downed both of them.

The effects were immediate. The Inner Organ Reinforcing Tonic was more predictable, although a few things that were enhanced were unexpected, improving and rendering his internal organs more durable as a whole. Surprisingly, despite being a rather wide-ranging improvement, the individual increases to each organ were sizable.

As for the Outer Organ Reinforcing Tonic, it had a much more notable improvement, as it affected his sensory organs as well. Suddenly, he could feel the details of his clothes against his skin. Light felt blinding, and the sound of his own breathing appeared incredibly loud. He could taste the air and smell the dish Jingyi was preparing in the kitchen.

Most would have been overwhelmed, and frankly, Anoteros was quite stunned for a moment. It was simply that from the perspective of any onlooker, he didn’t show any visible reaction to the sudden overstimulation.

In just an instant, the effects of the tonic stabilised. His senses were not augmented to an absurd degree in the end, but the upgrade was noticeable. It also included the inner ear, so his sense of balance was further improved. Alongside the boon he had received from the pygmy sasquatches he had played with, he felt like he could now pull some ridiculous stunts with impressive ease.

‘That was quite something… I guess I should have expected the consumables to be more effective than usual, considering the quests I completed’ he thought to himself, turning his attention to the third consumable: An elixir. So far, the only other elixir he had received had been Everlasting Elixirs Of Inversion, which allowed him to reverse someone’s sex forever.

Although he doubted that 'elixir' was only a word used for transformative drinks, it was once again the case with this one.

Elixir Of Rossification - Turns A Female Who Drinks It Into A Rococoli Version Of Herself Permanently. Furthermore, Their Body Is Purified And Returned To A State Of Virginity

Now, unlike when he first arrived in this world, Edrick was far more familiar with the specific terms they used here. Though he wasn’t familiar with the terms that would have been used for such concepts in his old world... It must have been his age. He had stopped keeping up with whatever the younger generation was doing.

In any case, whilst a ‘Foppoof’ referred to a male born with incredibly feminine features, and was often, pretty much impossible to differentiate from a woman at a glance, a ‘Rococoli’ instead designated another one of such rare occurrences.

It seemed that in this world, people could randomly be born with conditions that affected their appearance. Foppoofs could show up in basically all species. Some had higher rates than others, but theoretically, a foppoof could be born from the union of anyone.

Whether a foppoof was involved in the conception didn’t even seem to matter. It wasn’t something inscribed in their genes that caused their femininity.

On the other hand, a rococoli instead designated a woman, who, for some reason, retained very cute features and remained small for her entire life. They weren’t just petite. Tylia was petite, but she was still barely below average size.

A rococoli would be even shorter than that, and her features would be even softer.

It wasn’t seen as shameful to be born as one, unlike foppoofs. Being small wasn’t considered strange for a woman, even if it seemed exaggerated.

Though they tended to struggle to find partners, as the way they looked made men uneasy about dating them. Most people would not see a rococoli, but instead, a young girl who appeared not to even be of marriageable age.

And also, there was the problem that due to their small physique, they tended to struggle to give birth. Having a higher mortality rate for both the child and mother compared to the average.

And now, Edrick was given an elixir that could turn a woman into one of such rococolis. Though he wasn’t quite certain who to use it on…

It only worked on women, too, so it couldn’t be used as a discount Elixir Of Inversion.

‘I think I know who it could be used on, actually’ he grinned to himself, not missing the second part that said that the one to ingest this liquid would be purified completely.

Edrick spent some more time admiring the elixir. He had never seen a rococoli himself, so he was quite curious about what they actually looked like, certain that the descriptions were not quite a perfect match with reality.

Anoteros licked his teeth and chuckled to himself before turning his attention to the passives he had earned. Indeed, he understood why the system had not detailed them earlier. He had never received so many for a single quest before… In fact, passives were not common as rewards to begin with.

‘Let’s see what we have here’
