Pleasure-Earned Benefits

After finally arriving back home, he took some time to wash himself after mingling with apes for days, he then took a well-deserved rest after getting massaged and cuddled by his wives, when he awoke, as expected, the excess energy had been digested, and had naturally went to nourish his body, it wasn't as efficient as when he used it to cultivate or when exercising, but at least it was not wasted.

As it turns out, he woke up earlier than he would have expected, the day had not quite risen just yet, so his four wives were still peacefully sleeping, Edrick couldn't really slip out of bed just yet, especially since his absence for some time meant that the four of them were holding onto him extra tightly, Fanqia and Linmin flanked both of his sides, Hui was literally on top of him and Luxuli was holding onto his waist, he might have managed to slither away like usual with extreme care and patience, but the extra grip strength today had him defeated.

And that was after he had only been gone for around two days! Anoteros always tried to make them independent enough to operate when he wasn't around, but they remained very needy under the surface nonetheless.

But that was alright, he found it cute, and there was no hurry anyways, so he simply laid there and basked in their affection, only to see a system window pop within his vision.

*What can I say except, congratulations? I honestly wasn't expecting the sasquatch breeding thing, you always find something to do that I hadn't even thought of… Should I expand the range of my quests in the direction of the wilderness? I guess I should… That's actually quite spicy considering some of the scripts I have listed…*

Anoteros didn't respond, the system rarely showed up to make small talk, so there was surely something else it wanted to say.

*Truly, I am repeating myself very often at this point, but when I remember that I was originally expecting the typical system wielder when I showed up in here, I was fully prepared to have to issue quests like : 'Steal candy from a child' or something to get any results, but anyways, I wanted to give my congratulations about the whole sasquatch debacle*

*I didn't expect three at once, or for them to all come from wild beasts, but you have successfully activated the main effect of Five-Legged Devil Goat Physique and earned the boons relating to the following species after having relations with many of them : Mountain Sasquatch, Pygmy Sasquatch, and Skunk Sasquatch!*

The system displayed the image of clapping hands on its screen.

*As you know, the description of this technique I created was a bit vague on how the acquirement of boons through coitus worked exactly, now that you have activated it, I'll tell you a bit more*

*There are multiple levels to this aspect of the dual cultivation technique, the first is the excess energy accumulation that you have figured out on your own, you might have also noticed that the technique also affects your partner if you actually want them to get benefits, its automatic, don't bother with that*

The system window spun around, clearly, the system was enjoying babbling on and on.

*However, the main thing is of course- The 'boons'!*

*As you see here, repeatedly sleeping with members of a certain species can earn a boon- But there is more! Beyond species, there is also status, other traits that could be considered rare or uncommon, and of course, there are also the individual boons, which are acquired from doing the deed with the same person many times whilst using the technique*

*In any case, here are the boons that you acquired :*

*Mountain Sasquatch : Elusive Beast*

*Pygmy Sasquatch : Dancer Of The Forest*

*Skunk Sasquatch : Anosmic Stench*

Anoteros took his time to check out these boons, he assumed that the three of them were abilities of sorts because of the fact that they hailed from distinct species, and thus, what he gained was in relation to the species in particular, if so, it made him wonder what his own species would grant him, he was already a human after all… But that would wait for now.

What he got from the mountain sasquatches was rather simple, it was a passive that augmented his stealth and granted a sort of natural camouflage ability, both of the bonuses being more effective when he was transformed into a sasquatch, and also if he was in a biome where sasquatches could actually live.

So basically, if he went into the woods whilst transformed, he would most likely be even more sneaky than an actual sasquatch now.

The pygmy sasquatches, as they were apparently called, granted something even simpler, as the ability merely granted an increase to his sense of balance, which was still very much welcome, he would have to test how great the difference was compared to before, but being able to get something by just pounding some random apes in the woods was already a great bargain, especially when he hadn't even been counting on it happening.

Lastly, the aptly named skunk sasquatches had clearly hailed the best ability out of the bunch, honestly, it was so much better and sophisticated compared to the other two, he wondered if that was a testament to the rarity of this particular species, or to the fact that they were technically much harder to mate with than the other two.

The pygmies were obviously easy to get a hold of, the mountain sasquatches were strong, but not that bad if you were prepared after all… Compared to the skunks, they were easy to mate with if one wanted to.

In any case, the ability they earned him increased the strength and range, amongst other things, of any and all olfactive-based abilities or attacks used by Edrick, on top of allowing him to control and fine-tune said smell-based things.

It might not sound like much, but the fact that it was not limited to just the natural stench emitted by a sasquatch opened the way for him to learn anything that relied on smell, and therefore perform much better than normal thanks to it.

The versatility it allowed for the future was worth a lot, even if olfactive-based techniques or such might not be common, now that he had it, Anoteros would certainly be looking out for any opportunity to make the most out of it.

'By the way… Did I even succeed in my main goal in the end?' he wondered to himself, caressing the heads of his slumbering wives as he did so.

The whole point of sticking his giant sandworm inside a bunch of sasquatches was to familiarise himself with being one of them, he immersed himself in the role deeply, not only conforming greatly to his purpose as a male sasquatch, but also as his role as lord by defeating all competition in his way, and impregnating countless females.

So in a sense, he had not just gone by the instincts of the species, but that of an abnormal, lord-type as well, stimulating both the cultivation technique, and his very bloodline, but he did not feel any different.

He made use of the system's interface to check if something had changed, but there was no mention of a physique… Though, the page that listed his cultivation techniques, which had been useless until now as it did only that, listing them without any other information, this time, however, Mountain Sasquatch Body was glowing a slight bit.

'Does it want me to cultivate it?' he thought, a smile forming on his face as he noticed the first rays of sunlight trying to pierce through the curtains.

'I should stock up on some excess energy to cultivate better then…'

His wives would greatly appreciate this particular morning.
