FINAL EPILOGUE: I LOVE MY LIFE

[As of now, Ushio Gasai and his wife Saika Gasai, are wanted. They vanished one day before their judgment. Miraculous escape, or swift elimination? This is the question of the day. What do you think Magi?]

[Well, my dear Edward, I say we will only have an answer after everything is known. Still, the biggest beneficiaries of this affair are none other than the Karino family. Who would have thought that they would swallow basically all the wealth of Gasai?]

[Oh! Conspiracy? Would it really be possible? Though one of the accusations on Gasai was the assassination of the leader of the Karino family as well as his wife. So perhaps it was expected.]

[Another mystery we will never have an answer. Now, let's talk about this new star of the pop, is it a boy? Is it a girl? Such a mystery.]

----

Switching off the TV, I turned to face the two people, one man and one woman who were currently in a cage.

"So? How does it feel? I am really curious?"

The two of them sent me an empty gaze as if they couldn't register my words. It was truly pitiful to look at, though I didn't feel any pity.

"Broken huh?"

Sighing in melancholy, I remembered all the good times we spent together.

Their screams as I experimented with my power on them.

Their screams as I tortured them.

Their screams as I played with them in boredom.

Truly, it was the good old times. Sadly, all good things had to end and it seemed that farewells were in order.

"Well, at least I will make it swift."

There was a reason Warlocks weren't really liked and hunted down in the past. People could spout bullshit about how what mattered wasn't the power but rather how you used it, but when a spell clearly stated that it needed human sacrifice, it couldn't be anything but a dark spell.

"So you are saying that if I sacrifice those two and Fuli I will be able to summon you rather than keep you in my head?"

{Indeed. I am different from Nyarlathotep. Well most of us are different from him. Entering this world needs a sacrifice. The greater the sacrifice, the more power I can bring.}

"Heh~Interesting. Well, I guess it's time to work."

Walking away, I looked at the cross near the cage. On it, a decrepit old man could be seen. His hand festering with old wounds, his hair mat with blood. His eyes haggard. There was no need to try to understand what happened. His mind had already been broken beyond recognition.

"Well, well, well. I must say, I really did a good job."

{I still don't understand why you tortured them to this point. You don't seem to particularly feel any pleasure or amusement from it. Nor did it seem that you vented any feelings of anger.}

"Hey! Why the heck would you take pleasure from torturing people? I am not insane, you know? It's just that people who make others suffer should be ready to suffer in kind."

{Then, are you ready to suffer?}

"Me? Of course. I act with the knowledge that not everything will necessarily go my way. Perhaps I will fail, perhaps I will be subjected to torture hundreds of times greater than this, perhaps I will lose everything one day. But, so what? Life is too short to just worry about that every day."

Smiling to myself, I crouched down and activated the magic circle once this ritual was finished, I will have a sexy onee-sama following me around. Sacrificing three pieces of trash for such happiness was really worth it.

The moment the magic circle illuminated, I could see an expression of relief on their face as they slowly began to melt. From what Chiyo told me, this was entirely painless and they would even dream a little bit before dying. I guess this could be seen as a last gesture for helping me understand better my power.

"Well, this is good enough. The ritual will end in one week. Then your new vessel will be ready."

{Fufufu~! I have never thought that I would find three measly days to be so long.}

-----

After a hot bath, I walked out of my special torture chamber and opened the door of the living room. A sigh of relief escaped me.

"It has been a few months since I came to this world. Well, I guess it's time to begin the serious thing?"

{What do you mean?}

"Simple. My initial goal had never been to avenge my parents nor save Yuno you know?"

{Oh? Then, what was it?}

Glancing at the beautiful women discussing in the living room, a young Shuka eating a ice cream with happiness, Saeko taking off her shirt after losing another party of strip poker with Yumeko, Anna suspiciously walking toward the kitchen, Mamako serving the food with Rem and Ram, I smiled deviously.

"Make the best harem either. A harem of completely crazy girls."

END  OF CRAZY GIRLS.
