6-14: Surprising News
Cassidy and Veronica had finally returned to the designated rendezvous point, a small inn near the entrance. Everyone except for Seraph were there. She must've been looking for a contract to go back home or something.
"Finally, you're back. What were you doing? Visiting a brothel?" Avaris said with sarcasm.
"Yep!" Cassidy answered without any fear, just simply confidence.
"I uh... I was joking..."
The girls were silent for a moment. The silence was a bit stifling.
"So, did you do it inside or out?" Kazue asked Veronica.
"Uh... what?" Veronica asked in response, not entirely sure what Kazue meant.
"When you came, was it inside or outside?"
"Oh... oh! Uh... in... inside." Veronica answered, embarrassed that she practically admitted that she was just with a prostitute.
"Wait, doesn't that mean..." Cassidy was seemingly about to ask a question, though she never finished.
Veronica knew what she wanted to say. And it took Veronica by surprise. Her eyes grew wide and she started to shake.
"【Status!】"
She scanned through, looking for that one skill, that one challenge. That woman was a non-human, and based on succubus DNA, she would've been counted already, would she not?
Succubus Spellcraft, Gain access to magic that only Succubi can use [3/4]: Current Upgrade; You can now delve into the subconscious of unconscious creatures by performing a ritual, as well as spells from previous upgrades. Upgradeable! Challenge: Impregnate five (5) non-human creatures [2/5]
Veronica breathed a sigh of relief, seeing as the challenge hadn't increased the number. Which also indicated that Pyrokess wasn't pregnant. Assuming it would've counted on conception.
Kazue and Cassidy stated laughing up a storm, as if they already knew.
"Ver, all the girls there are infertile. They had their tubes tied a while ago." Cassidy said, wiping a tear from her eye.
"Not to mention, with the advancements with medical technology and skilled healers, it's a reversible process." Kazue admitted. "So, who did you get? Was it Jezebel? Kalily?"
"Pyrokess... wait, how do you know their names?"
"Ah! Haven't seen her in a while." Kazue responded, ignoring Veronica's question.
"No, hold on, answer my question!"
"I used to frequent those places whenever we came here. Thanks to the animal part of me, I do get horny really easily. So, they took care of it for me. Though, not like I'm going back anymore, since someone made me a mother." Kazue admitted, also revealing something rather private.
"Hey! You were the one who begged for it!"
"Guilty as charged~"
Though, the rest of the girls were just frozen and silent. Shocked at the revalation of their friend and upperclassman being a mother.
"Can you even continue being an adventurer then?" Sirtia asked Kazue, blush growing in her face.
"Of course I can. I've been raising them in my dreamscape." Kazue responded.
"Wait, you've already..."
"Yeah, I can control the time and rules in my personal dreamscape."
The room continued to be silent as they quietly shamed Veronica for being a bit too careless.
"Next time, consult us, your harem, first. We can't have you giving up your dreams because you were careless." Cassidy scolded.
"Harem? Careless? What did I miss?" Seraph asked, walking into the inn.
"Nothing you really need to know. I'm sure she's learned her lesson. Hopefully." Aviris responded, protecting what little is left of Seraph's purity. "Anyway, find anything?"
"Nope. I'll have to check again tomorrow. Either way, we'll have to leave by the day after tomorrow if we want to get back to the academy."
"So, basically we get an extra day to visit the bro-" Cassidy was about to be her usual horny self before Veronica placed a hand over her mouth.
"Thank you for letting us know." Veronica said, bring Cassidy over to a seat.
In all honesty, Seraph had no idea what was happening and simply decided to just roll with whatever is happening. This seems like it might be a more common occurrence than she thought.
