11-11: Days of Boredom

"You could send a missive back to the capital, you know." Rena advised, taking a swig of ale.

"In the time it would take to send the missive and wait for someone to come here, I would already be back in the capital. Not to mention, I would just be able to ride with the courier."

"True, however, you can still write a missive requesting a ride back to the castle whilst waiting in the capital."

"If the courier is going up to the castle anyways..."

"Right... Granted, you could also just buy a horse."

"Don't know how to ride one." Veronica sighed. "How do you go from here to the capital?"

"Horseback. I rent a horse, ride there, keep it at the stables, and then ride back when business is finished."

"I see... Wait, couldn't you just take me there?"

"Wish I could, but I don't have the time, and when I can, the carriage will have already came and went by then."

"Oh. Didn't know being a pirate would keep you so busy."

"Go figure, when you raid tens of ships, you end up with so much loot that you're not able to do anything."

"Why's that?"

"Verification. Like, 'what flags were they flying' and 'did you attack first' and 'that clock is ours, please don't take it'. Like, it's a clock made out of gold, why wouldn't we take it?" Rena joked, making the both of them laugh. "Anyways, how have you been passing the time?"

"Reading books. Eating. Flirted with the bard and, surprisingly enough, I didn't get in her pants."

"The dragoness?"

"Yeah, she sings nice, has a good body, what's there not to like?"

"Well, she is a huge slut."

"Huh?"

"She regularly hosts orgies. She also dating a cute boy too."

"And he's fine with it?"

"Better, he gets off to it! Total cuck fetish."

"Huh. Who takes part in these orgies?"

"Old men, young men, women, pretty much anyone capable of sex."

"When and where? I'm getting awfully bored."

"Sorry, it's invite only."

"You say it as if you've been there."

"A couple times. Oddly enough, orgies get boring after twenty years."

"Well no shit, you ruined your sex drive! Gotta give it a while between. Maybe take daily aphrodisiacs."

"I thought about it. Seems tempting, but I'll wait until someone stops giving me the excitement I crave~"

Their lewd chat was soon cut off by the tavern's door slamming open and some armored man walked in, as if he owned the place.

"What the fuck is wrong with this place's service!?" He was clearly upset when no one came by to personally greet him.

"Ugh... another one of these dickwads."

"Just take a seat, pal." One of the other guests voiced in.

"Don't you know who I am!? My name is Vicktor Lucien Fran—"

"No one cares!"

"Give me a moment, Veronica." Rena said with a sigh before get out of her chair.

She walked over to the disgruntled "patron", who instantly tried to put his hands on her.

"Finally, a decent who-" His words were cut off by the sound of a small explosion, and a new hole in his mouth. Not lethal, but he won't be using his mouth for a while.

Rena had used her weapon, having shot the man in the jaw and out his cheek. He screamed in pain and ran out, leaving for good.

"That was extreme, don't you think."

"Only way they'll learn. At least he has a new way to suck dick."

The tavern burst with laughter, patting Rena on the back. From everyone's reaction, not only was this expected, but it wasn't the first time she's done this.

"Anyways, Rena, know where I could get one of those invitations?"
