10-02: Exploring The New Home

After some bartering with Priscilla, the rest of Veronica's harem was allowed to come live at the palace. Though, at the moment, Veronica was all alone. Eleanora was helping her mother with paperwork, Celia was still in her classes for being a proper Queen, as well as preparing for marriage. Cassidy and Aviris took off to explore what they couldn't before.

Veronica wandered about aimlessly, making a vague mental map of the palace. She remembered some room from the last time, she wasn't here long.

"So that also leads to the library." Veronica muttered to herself.

"Ah, Veronica, it's been a while." A familiar voice said.

When Veronica turned around, she was surprised to see who it was.

"Ah, Shaerill, it sure has. How did you recognize me?" Veronica asked, motioning to her whole body.

"Scent. Us Elves are pretty good hunters. And you are insanely hot. Like, can fuck me right now? Preferably wearing leather."

"I don't remember you being this uh... unhinged."

"It's an Elf thing. Anyway, are you looking for something in particular?"

"Not exactly, just wandering around my new home."

"Right... Queen Priscilla did mention something like that. Congratulations on your marriage."

"We haven't uh... gotten married yet. I keep thinking this is all just some weird fever dream."

"Understandable. Not everyone expects to be married to royalty when they were a commoner just over a month ago."

The two of them laughed as they walked the halls, catching up over the short time away from each other.

"So, how is your time here?"

"Still having troubles adjusting to the... opposite of nature. The food is terrific though. Especially those little pastries. What do you call them again...?"

"Uh... which ones?"

"The small, kind of dry ones. Umm... cookies. Those things. They're good."

"Ah, yes, they are.  Though, there are many different recipes, so not all cookies taste the same."

"Really? I'll need to see if I can find different ones then."

Without entirely thinking, the two of them arrived at Shaerill's office. Or rather, a Shaerill's mess that occupied an office.

"How did you manage to make this mess?"

"Turns out that Elves really like sending official reports. Daily. Multiple times a day."

"Oh my... well, since we're here, should we clean the place?"

"Please."

Veronica laughed as she entered the room. Papers littered the floor, some were in half attempted piles. The two of then worked together, organizing the papers. Reports on one side, and actually important documents on another.

When the piles were separated, it was clear as days that Shaerill gets too many reports. It was three or even four times the stack of the actually important documents.

"So, what should we do with the reports? There's too many to put away neatly..." Veronica groaned.

"Hm... I'll ask Queen Priscilla next time I speak with her. Oh, and thank you for helping clean the office." Shaerill thanked, pulling at her top.

"Of course. Is it hot in here? I don't feel hot..."

"How about we make this place a bit more dirty again~?"

'These girls... well, first time with an Elf.'
