9-14: Being A Mother

"Hush hush, Alisha, Mama's here." Veronica whispered to the newborn in her arms as she sat in the bed.

The entire process wasn't as bad as she thought it was going to be, though it could be a mix between the dreamscape and Veronica being a Hakano. The kits were a bit more busy bow, taking care of both Tisha's child and Eleanora's child, and now also taking care of Veronica for a moment and Alisha when Veronica would leave later.

"How are you doing, hun?" Kazue asked quietly, trying not to wake up the baby.

"Heh... better than I thought. I just got her to go back to sleep after feeding." Veronica replied, keeping her eyes on the sleeping newborn.

"I wouldn't mind fe-"

"You finish that, and you're not leaving here ever again."

"In what way?"

"I think you know."

"Doesn't sound like much of a threat to me."

"Hmph. Anyway, I almost don't want to leave."

"I know how that feels. The kits were too precious to me, and it took quite a while in here before I thought I was ready to leave."

"How're the others?"

"Cassidy's horny, but that's nothing new. Aviris has been training a bit more than usual, the rest of my girls have been taking it easy, but Sirtia wants to spend some more time with you. Oh, and Eleanora says that the Queen wants your I come back as soon as possible, but no more than a week for waiting."

"And how long can I stay here?"

"As I long as I have it set for. I can literally make it to where years can pass here before even an hour passes out there. But, we wouldn't want you getting too comfortable here, would we?"

"Hmph. Can I at least get enough time to ween her off breastmilk?"

"Only if I get to join."

Veronica was not enthused at Kazue's lewd joke, though it was ever so slightly enticing.

In the dreamscape, months upon months have passed. Veronica missed the others, but to them, she's probably been gone for less than a day. The dreamscape had everything she needed though. Food, drink, companionship.

But Veronica had other responsibilities that she needed to perform. Marry the princess, marry many more women, perform royal duties, slaughter an angel, try and get rid of the curse's existence.

Veronica was going to be busy. But, just for now, little Alisha was hungry once again.

"You little glutton." Veronica chuckled, bringing the babe to her breast.

"Well, I'll be leaving now. Next time I come back is to take you out of here. So, make sure to say your farewells and get ready, m'kay?"

"Right. I'll see you then."

The room was nearly silent, with only the kits voices and laughter being heard.

"It might not be so bad having a lot of children. Hm... who would be a good mother next?"
