8-22: To Give A Girl Confidence

The hit springs sounded like a good idea after what felt like hours of walking. So, Veronica went to the nearby hotsprings for a small bit of relaxation.

Though, she did notice something odd. Outside of the actual springs themselves, Veronica found a familiar collection of items. A suit of armor, which looked vaguely familiar and a spear which looked very familiar. However, there was also some other things, like a lace choker, a large amount of clean bandages, and women's underwear, as well as a masculine wig.

It confused Veronica a bit, but she just assumed that there was both and man and woman around. She was thankfully that there was a separation, allowing men and women to have their own spaces. After all, how awkward would it be if she accidentally exposed herself to man?

So, after she removed her own clothing and neatly piled them in their own corner, Veronica entered the hotsprings while covering her lower half.

And sure enough, there was indeed a blonde haired girl in there. Though, her faced looked really familiar. But Veronica couldn't tell where she saw her before.

"Hello." Veronica greeted, taking a seat in the hot water.

"H-Hi..." The girl responded, obviously embarrassed. Perhaps she was just shy?

"Say, are you with those guys out there?" Veronica asked, trying to make some light small talk.

"Y-Yes. I am... I-I-I mean, no, I mean, yes, I..." The girl tried to answer, but she didn't seem to know how to answer it herself.

"Are you okay?"

The girl was just red, embarrassed and a stuttering mess. So, Veronica moved closer, to make sure she was okay.

"Have you been in here too long?"

"N-No! I'm fine! J-Just a bit shy is all, hehe..." She chuckled lightly, trying to avoid Veronica's attention.

"Hm.... Alright. Ah, I guess I should introduce myself. I'm Veronica." Veronica introduced, forgetting to do it earlier.

"L-Lexalah." She briefly introduced herself.

Veronica looked at her with a confused look. That name was familiar. Where did she hear it before. Then it clicked.

"The leader of the Dragons?" Veronica asked.

Lexalah blushed and curled into a ball. It was obviously meant to be a secret.

"I never expected the man I fought against was actually an adorable girl... but... why did you...?"

Lexalah was confused now, wondering what Veronica was talking about. After all, Veronica looked drastically different than she did when they fought in the tournament. Though, she quickly figured it out.

"I... thought I needed to look like a man to achieve what I wanted. It's silly..."

"What do you mean?" Veronica asked, sitting down next to ner.

"I grew up in a small village with only, like, fifteen families. Only the men left and became adventurers. No one said why it was only men, so I believed only men could become adventurers." She admitted.

"But you saw the academy, or even the city when you got here, right?"

"I had already disguised myself completely, and even signed my academy papers as being a man. I already made a few friends, who I teamed up with as well. Ha... you know, I went as far as I could. I used bandages to flatten my chest, a wig to have more manly hair, and even enchanted my choker to sound like a man. All for a lie that I regret."

"Well, I'm sure you can talk to the Headmaster about that. She is rather accepting."

"But I'd feel like I'd be lying to my friends. I am lying to them. A-And... I'm in love with Jaune... I don't want him to hate me because I... I lied to him for this long..." She said, scared that her misbelief is preventing her from what she wants.

"I see.... tell you what, I'll help you."

"How?"

"Simple, we calmly explain to them what's going on. I know it seems scary—"

"It is."

"But, we can get them to understand with a well worded explanation."

Lexalah thought about it. Eventually, she gave in. But first, the two decided to just simply relax.

Needless to say, the Dragons of Varsha were rather surprised to see that their leader was a woman who hid herself rather well. And they were fine with it. They did say it would take a while to get used to, but it wouldn't change the fact that she was reliable, kind, and caring.

And soon, the Dragons left back to the surface as Veronica continued further down.

"I'm surprised you didn't force yourself onto her. Fresh Hakano can't resist their temptations so early." Lilith said.

"It took everything in my system to not do that. I wanted to hear her moans, her please, I wanted to feel her tightness. But I somehow held back. You don't suppose the dungeon can create something for me to relieve myself, right?" Veronica said, holding her hand over the pain in her crotch that came due to sexual need.

But, she went down another floor, hoping to find something to stick her dick into. Or fight. Both work.
