Ch93: Spending Some Favour
“Is that all?” Inanna calmly asks.
“Uh... yeah.” The barbarian awkwardly replies. She expected Inanna to be surprised, but the only surprising thing about the Dwarf’s reaction was her complete lack of a reaction. “Do you... believe all of that?”
“Sure.” Inanna simply shrugs her shoulders, utterly unbothered by the brief but rather important information that Krvavy just revealed to her. “I trust that you wouldn’t lie to me. Especially since this is something that most would rather keep secret, doing their best to keep others from learning of it.” She idly lifts up a thick lock of her hair to better comb beneath those coal-black strands. “Besides, this does explain a few things. Such as your ability to learn languages.”
Krvavy blinks blankly at the Dwarf, not really knowing how to feel about Inanna just taking what she said at face value.
Her heart flutters a little, filled with a light and fuzzy warmth.
But is that just because this busty grey-skinned woman said that she trusts the barbarian? Or is it because Thea is still in Krvavy’s lap, a strong arm wrapped tightly around her waist while the Draconic dickgirl’s sizable shaft remains so snugly stuffed into her tight slit? The bratty girl’s love tunnel twitches and trembles, clenching down on that cock and sending tingling jolts of pleasure arcing through its length.
Or... or was that fluttery feeling drawn out by the wide tongue lovingly lapping at where barbarian and brat are joined? By the four little tusks that Krvavy can feel gently pressing into the sensitive underside of her shaft, the part not inside her princess’ pussy...? Each suckling kiss that gets planted on that noble girl’s little nub of a clit causes her to shudder in such a wonderful way...
“Well, now tha’ yer Dwarf knows, can we discuss the Favour ya ‘ave earned?” Beryl interrupts the barbarian’s distracted thoughts, sounding just a bit impatient. “Ya can upgrade yer blessin’ now.”
“Oh, uh, yeah.” Krvavy clears her throat and rests her chin atop Thea’s silver-blonde head. It takes a bit of effort, but she does her best to keep the steady buzz of bliss from messing with her thoughts. “The divine favour I earn can be spent on... a lot of things. I’ve been using it to upgrade the traits I got from my patron, for the most part.”
“Aye, our dearest love’s Naturists Blessin’ is quite somethin’.” The Wood Elf smiles towards Inanna, an almost giddy gleam in her blue-green eyes. “Ah can ‘ardly wait ta see it get upgraded again.”
Krvavy exaggerates a sigh as she takes that not so subtle hint, bringing up the points shop.
Naturists Blessing III: 8 Divine Favour. Upgrade Naturists Blessing II to gain additional benefits, attributes, & resistances derived from what is worn, extends True Defence protection to what is worn, and provides 25 Base Armour. Upgradable.
And there it is. It almost hurts to spend her favour on this when she still wants to save up for an inventory, but this is worth it. And not just because her sweet berry is all but demanding she buy it. With just a thought, Krvavy upgrades her blessing.
Naturists Blessing III: Blessed by a divine power, you endure all that comes your way. Gain True Defence in proportion to how little you are wearing, the amount of which increases with the quality of what is worn, and this protection extends to anything you wear. Additional benefits, attributes, & resistances are derived from what is worn. Provides 25 Base Armour.
Well, that description is just getting longer and longer... A few more upgrades and it’ll be a full wall of text.
“Feel any different, my dearest love?” Beryl asks as she taps on the barbarian’s thigh.
“Hmm... No.” Krvavy hums back, as she feels exactly the same as before. Which she supposes is a good thing. She didn’t know what to expect from her new Base Armour, but at least it doesn’t make her numb to anything that would normally deal less than twenty-five points of damage.
Granted, that might just be because Beryl isn’t trying to inflict any damage on her...? At least not as far as she can tell...
What she can say for certain is that the subdued shuddering of her beautiful brat feels just as nice as before. Which is what really matters. Becoming tougher to kill might be more important than indulging in pleasure, but... she is not willing to make that sort of trade.
The Elf gives Krvavy’s muscled thigh a rather firm squeeze. “Wha’ is the next upgrade like?”
Naturists Blessing IV: 24 Divine Favour. Upgrade Naturists Blessing III to gain increased True Defence from Physical Attributes, increases the base amount of True Defence to 25%, and increases Base Armour to 60. Upgradable.
“Whew...” Krvavy can’t help but breath out in awe.
That just seems really good. She can’t imagine that her physical attributes will give much True Defence, probably an incredibly small fraction of a percent for each point at most, and she wouldn’t be surprised if it even has diminishing returns.
Though even with that bit of uncertainty, it still seems like an amazing upgrade. After all, the biggest downside to Krvavy’s Naturists Blessing is the fact that someone could just remove her loincloth and take away a lot of her defences. This upgrade helps to mitigate that by increasing how tough she is when completely naked. The higher base True Defence should make her take fifteen percent less damage, at the very least.
But it costs a lot. Krvavy felt that eight divine favour was bit much, and this is three times that. So, sadly, there is no way she is getting this upgrade any time soon.
“Guess ya will just need ta get more and more girls, since ya seem ta earn Favour fer each one ya claim~!” Beryl playfully coos, leaning in to kiss her Draconic lover on the cheek.
Krvavy glances sideways at the Elf, who just teasingly smiles back.
“How about Ah go fetch yer new loincloth now~?” The tanned tomboy asks before Krvavy can so much as say a word. “Don’t ya want ta see wha’ kind of benefits ya get from it~?”
“Alright.” The barbarian replies, a few seconds after Beryl had already risen to her feet.
While the Elf heads off to the storage area, Krvavy’s head turns to look at her current loincloth laying nearby. She is far too curious to just ignore it and never check to see what bonuses it will have with her newly upgraded Naturists Blessing.
A quick Inspect just shows the loincloth’s description, causing the barbarian to frown slightly. Guess she’ll have to wear it first, which could be a problem. After all, she doesn’t exactly want to pull Thea out of her lap and off her cock... Or interrupt Khalia’s fun...
But, then again, there is nothing saying that she has to wear it properly.
Bark Fur Deerskin Loincloth: This brown furred loincloth is quite comfortable and covers the bare minimum required to remain decent. Provides +1 Base Armour & +5% Disease Resistance.
The loincloth dangles from the tip of Krvavy’s tail, hanging off the ground in a way that apparently counts as it being worn. Not that it is giving her much True Defence right now. But she isn’t going to complain about that.
Krvavy doesn’t really have anything to say about those bonuses. They are better than nothing, but that is it. Granted, she wasn’t exactly expecting anything special here. This is just a loincloth made out of the pelt of a random deer, so Krvavy would genuinely be surprised if it was much better.
“What else do you have in that Points Shop?” Inanna suddenly asks, causing the Drakling’s tail to twitch in surprise, dropping the loincloth.
“Oh, lots of things.” Krvavy nonchalantly replies, trying to act like she didn’t forget that the Dwarf was still here. “But, to be honest, most of what’s in there doesn’t really seem worth spending favour on. A lot of it could probably be found in actual stores. There are still quite a few great things though, just buried beneath thousands of near-useless ones.”
“Thousands?”
“At least, yeah...” The barbarian tiredly sighs as she brings the points shop menu back up, idly scrolling through it. “Luckily I can filter all of that junk away, otherwise it’d be almost unusable. Seriously, there is so much stuff in here. Magical items, equipment, household goods, food, materials...” Krvavy finds herself trailing off as something catches her eye.
Assorted Box of Ore Seeds: 1 Divine Favour. A carved wooden box containing six (6) random Ore Seeds, the rarity of which depends on the abundance and value of the ore.
Yup, just as she thought. That’s a fucking loot box...
“What did you find?” The Dwarf asks with a slight bit of curiosity in her otherwise neutral voice.
Ore Seed: A magical lump of ore that, when planted in solid stone, designates a small area for the continual growth of said ore within a rock cluster. Rate of growth depends on the type of ore, with a random degree of variation that resets upon each harvest.
“Ever heard of an... of an Ore Seed before?”
Inanna furrows her thick brow. “Mmm... No.” She replies, prompting the barbarian to read out the description with a slight wave of her hand. The nearly emotionless expression filling her face soon cracks, shifting further into wide-eyed awe with each word that passes through Krvavy’s lips. “That... That is incredible...!”
“I guess it is a nice way to get metal...” Krvavy mutters out, sounding slightly soured. It does look like she can buy specific ore seeds as well, but she is far too hung up on it being a loot box to really care. That has kind of left a bitter taste in her mouth...
The Dwarf stares rather incredulously at Krvavy. “No, it is far more than that.” Actual excitement is audible in her voice. Not a whole lot, but it is there. “If it functions exactly as you stated, then this is a near endless source of metal, only held back by time...! I have never heard of anything like that before...! Does it not even require a source of mana?”
“It doesn’t say anything about that, no.” The barbarian shrugs back.
Inanna takes a deep breath and collects herself. “We will discuss this in more detail later.” She stiffly states, glancing at the doorway as Beryl suddenly reenters the room.
“And ‘ere ya go, my dearest love.” The Wood Elf holds the new grey loincloth out to Krvavy, before glancing at the two girls still between the barbarian’s legs. “Guess it’s time fer ya ta stop wearin’ yer little slut~.” She pats Thea on the head, drawing a slightly annoyed moan out of the blissed brat.
“Nah, this is keeping her quiet and well behaved~.” The barbarian playfully returns, fingers slowly gliding across Thea’s soft skin, following the prominent and impossible to ignore outline of her cock as it bulges out this brat’s belly. “Besides, I’d have to get cleaned up first or I’d make a mess of your hard work. So I’ll just do this.” Krvavy’s other hand slides through the waist of her new loincloth, letting it rest around her wrist like a bracelet.
Rock Bear Pelt Loincloth: This rough, grey furred loincloth is incredibly durable and resilient. Provides +5 Base Armour & 15% Lightning Resistance.
That’s considerably better than the deerskin one, but nothing really game changing. Well, the lightning resistance is pretty good...
“Don’t ya even think about it!” Beryl immediately scolds the barbarian after hearing what the bonuses are.
“Whoa, whoa, whoa!” Krvavy holds her hands up in surrender. “I didn’t say anything!”
“Ach! We both know wha’ ya were thinkin’!” The Elf clicks her tongue. “And Ah’ll ‘ave none o’ it! A mere fifteen percent is not enough fer ya ta go up against tha’ Lightnin’ Wizard!”
“I know, I know...” The barbarian sighs in defeat, bringing a hand down onto Khalia’s head and rubbing her puppy’s black-brown hair. The Were-Beast seems to take that as a signal to bury her face into the barbarian’s balls, plump lips planting kisses across that virile sack. “I’m not going to go after him until I know that I can kill him. Don’t want to ruin the surprise of me not being dead...”
Beryl lightly shakes her head as she sits down by the fire, clearly not convinced that Krvavy won’t run off and get herself killed. Again.
With the Elf not saying anything else, Krvavy places the loincloth down onto the ground and turns her attention to the girl in her lap. Thea is... really out of it right now, leaning back against the barbarian’s chest and breathing quite heavily between gasped moans. It is kind of surprising just how cockdrunk she still is, considering how laid back Krvavy’s use of her has been...
If the barbarian had been relentlessly pounding into her brat, then Thea’s current state would make sense. But Krvavy has just been sitting here with her length lodged inside of the girl, hardly even moving.
Was Thea somehow so pent up that this relaxed ride was enough for her mind to melt in pleasure? Or is she some sort of secret exhibitionist, getting off on being watched by Krvavy’s three other girls? Or maybe it was just the casualness of the situation that turned her on this much?
Whatever the reason is... it doesn’t really matter.
Krvavy is just happy that her little princess enjoyed herself so much. But, sadly, she has to cut Thea’s fun short. Krvavy can’t just sit around all day like this. Not when she has a whole day ahead of her.
Besides, she has already cum quite a bit today. So she doesn’t exactly have a reason to keep using her silver-blonde brat like this. No matter how nice and enjoyable and relaxing it is...
“Wuuhf~!” Pure joy fills Khalia’s amber-gold eyes as Thea’s body gets lifted up and off of the barbarian’s semi-soft shaft, letting the Were-Beast woman lap up all of the cum coating Krvavy’s cock. Not to mention the stuff oozing out of Thea’s slightly spread slit.
After spending all morning fucking Khalia and using Thea, Krvavy honestly feels kind of gross... Guess it is time for the three of them to go wash up. Hopefully her insatiable puppy doesn’t demand another round down in the hot spring...
“So... You want to show me your workshop?” Krvavy asks, walking through the cave with the Dwarf by her side. It is a struggle to keep herself from staring at those completely naked and absolutely massive tits as they jiggle with each step that shortstack takes. Each tortuously slow and small step...
Inanna glances up at the barbarian with one of her thick eyebrows raised. “My workshop is nowhere near complete. It isn’t even in a remotely usable state yet. No, I simply wished to bring you somewhere we could talk without you being distracted by the others.”
“The ore seeds.” Krvavy correctly guess what the Dwarf wants to talk about.
“Yes.” The short grey-skinned woman nods her head. “I understand that you do not want to spend your Divine Favour, as you are saving up for a more expensive purchase, but I believe those Ore Seeds would be worth the cost. I am willing to do anything to convince you of that.”
Krvavy unconsciously bites her bottom lip. If she wasn’t completely spent right now, then her cock definitely would have gotten hard from just how the Dwarf said that single word... There was a certain intensity to it... An implication...
“I do not have much.” Inanna’s copper-orange eyes stare up at Krvavy with unwavering focus and determination. “You may already own me, as my life is undeniably in your hands, but... I will sell you everything that I am. Body, mind, soul. I will be yours. Willingly. Fully and forever.”
The barbarian’s breath catches in her throat, her tired shaft twitching with desire. “Wait, that’s not necess–”
“I, Inanna of Ki-Ningal, daughter of Zadiim and Dalla,” the Dwarf loudly talks over Krvavy as she lowers herself to her knees, reaching up to place her hands on the barbarian’s lower thighs, “swear upon my Ancestors, my People, and my Name to forever hereafter serve Krvavy the Drakling with utmost loyalty and reverence.”
Krvavy just sighs, reaching down to help the busty grey-skinned woman back to her feet. “Inanna, you...” She trails off as the Dwarf grabs her hand and plants a kiss on the back of it. “You didn’t need to do any of that. You could have just asked...”
“What is done is done,” Inanna replies with a shake of her head, “my... Ushumgal.”
Krvavy raises an eyebrow at that word, mostly because it didn’t get translated. But before she can ask what it means, the Dwarf turns and continues walking as if nothing had happened, leaving the barbarian more bewildered than anything.
“How much do the Ore Seeds cost, and what ores can you purchase?”
“That is something you should have asked before pledging your very being to me.” The Drakling dryly replies.
The Dwarf dismissively waves that comment aside. “Even a mundane metal like copper or iron would be worth growing with such a seed. And if you cannot afford them now... then I can wait, though I would prefer not to. The sooner we plant one of these Ore Seeds, the sooner it will grow. So, I repeat, what ores can you purchase?”
Krvavy softly breathes out as she brings up the points shop menu once again, quickly filtering out everything that doesn’t mention ore seeds. “Well, uh, it looks like every kind of ore is here. Probably? The ones I know are here, along with a lot I’ve never heard of.”
“Mm?” Inanna perks up at that, briefly glancing back at the barbarian. “Are... [Chalcocite] and [Bornite] available?” She asks, using her native language to say the names of those ores.
“Uh... No...?”
“How about [Malachite], [Azurite], or [Cuprite]?”
“Also no.” Krvavy clicks her tongue, feeling a little frustrated. Especially because two of those sound familiar to her, though she can’t quite remember what they are...
“Mmm.” Inanna thoughtfully hums. “To put it simply, those are all copper ores, though the last three are more valuable as themselves than as sources of copper.”
“Oh. Well... There is a copper ore seed here.”
“Mm, interesting... Do these Ore Seeds grow a pure source of the metal...?” Inanna mumbles to herself, slipping back into her native tongue without realizing it. “[That would be quite convenient for working with, though also a shame... Cuprite crystals are quite good at storing mana, if they are enchanted to increase their durability...]”
The Dwarf suddenly comes to a stop, spinning around to look up at the Drakling. Her bountiful breasts and the voluminous mass of her hair both bounce from that quick motion. “You can afford these Ore Seeds right now, yes?”
“Kind of. The prices are all over the place.” Krvavy replies, frowning slightly as she looks through the menu. “It seems like the more valuable ores cost more... I can get five copper seeds for one favour, or one gold seed for the same price, and there are even a few that cost multiple points for a single seed...”
“Mmm... Do any of them specify how quickly they grow or how much ore they produce with each harvest?” The Dwarf asks, getting a simple shake of the head in response. “How unfortunate. I do not want to waste your Divine Favour, but I cannot tell if five copper Ore Seeds would produce too much or too little.”
Krvavy bites the inside of her cheek, reluctantly turning her attention back to the loot box option. “Well, there is another option. I can buy an assorted box of six seeds for only one point. But what’s inside is pretty much random, depending on how valuable the ores are...”
“I am not a fan of chance.” Inanna plainly states, pressing her thick lips together as her dense brow furrows as well. She slowly exhales. “That said... I believe that purchasing this ‘assorted box’ would be a good idea. We do not currently have any Ore Seeds, so it does not matter which ones we get.”
The barbarian scowls slightly, though her Dwarf does have a point. She dislikes the thought of actually purchasing a loot box, just on the principle of it, but it looks like that is exactly what she is going to do... With a sigh, Krvavy spends a single point of Divine Favour.
Inanna raises an eyebrow as a rectangular wood case suddenly pops into existence in Krvavy’s hands. The plain and rather unassuming box has some weight to it, rattling slightly as it gets moved around.
“Huh.” This is the first time that Krvavy has bought anything physical from the points shop. She didn’t really expect it to just appear in her hands like this, but alright. It isn’t like she has an inventory or anything... “Here, you want to open it up?” The barbarian asks, crouching down and placing it on the ground between them.
The Dwarf nods and wordlessly kneels down in front of the box, giving it a good look over before carefully reaching out towards the unassuming thing. Her hand presses down onto it, sliding the top to the side along seams that Krvavy hadn’t even seen.
“Mm.” Inanna hums as the inside of the box is revealed. Six dull metallic bulbs rest on a simple grey fabric. They are all identical in size and shape, differing only in their colours. “Three copper, one tin, one iron, and one silver.” The Dwarf states. “All mundane metals.”
Krvavy purses her lips as she looks down at the wooden case. This loot box actually seemed kind of good, which almost hurts to admit. That is kind of guaranteed though, as even if it was just six copper seeds it’d still total up to being worth more favour than what she had spent. Granted, eventually buying these assorted boxes will just be a waste, as they’ll keep getting basic ores that they won’t need any more of. But that shouldn’t happen for some time yet, so as much as it pains her...
“Want to try another?”
Inanna doesn’t immediately respond, simply lifting up one of the copper seeds, the metallic bulb fitting nicely in the palm of her hand. “You didn’t sound so eager to leave this to chance before.” The Dwarf comments, placing the Ore Seed back down and looking up at the barbarian.
“Well, it’s like you said, it doesn’t really matter what we get right now. And,” Krvavy’s face flushes faintly as a tinge of embarrassment enters her voice, “you are definitely worth a lot more than one divine favour. You really didn’t need to... give your entire being to me like that.”
The Dwarf looks at Krvavy with an indecipherably neutral expression on her face. “I would like to open another. Thank you.”
Krvavy simply sighs as she spends another point of favour, causing a new box to appear in her hands. One that is utterly identical to the first. Placing it down beside the other, she once again gives her Dwarf the honour of opening it.
Inanna is a lot less careful this time, reaching out and sliding the top of the box off in one smooth motion. “Two zinc, one lead, two more iron, and one gold. This is enough for now.”
Krvavy is relieved to hear that her Dwarf doesn’t want to open up any more, especially since the second box was annoyingly better than the first. The gold seed alone was worth the single point of favour spent... But that’s the problem. Krvavy just doesn’t trust these loot boxes. It’s like they’re luring her into a false sense of security...
“I want to try planting one of these now, would you like to help?” The Dwarf asks, pulling Krvavy from her slightly paranoid thoughts.
“Sure.” The barbarian quickly replies, though she has no idea how these things are even supposed to be planted. Do they just have to bury them, or what...?
Inanna picks up the copper seed again and rises to her feet, leaving the two wood cases sitting on the ground as she looks around. “There.” The Dwarf gestures to a nondescript spot nearby.
“You... want to plant the seeds out here?” Krvavy confusedly questions, as there isn’t really anything around here. Just an empty expanse of cave.
“It is along the path to my workshop.” Inanna states, gesturing off to the side. “Which will be over there.”
In the dim light emanating from the grotto, Krvavy can just barely see the Dwarf’s workshop. Or, more accurately, she can see where the workshop will be. At the moment it looks like little more than an outline of bricks placed along the ground.
“Do you mind flattening this spot?” The grey-skinned woman asks, tapping her foot once on the ground.
The barbarian just nods as she steps towards her Dwarf. This area is already pretty flat, so she’ll hardly have to spend any mana. “Do you want me to make a little hole for that as well?”
“Mmm... No. Not yet.” Inanna replies, staring at the Ore Seed in her hand. Once Krvavy is done doing her magic, the Dwarf kneels down and places the copper seed between them, pressing the more bulbous side against the ground.
“Huh.” Krvavy blinks as it easily sinks into the stone, stopping with just the tip poking out. The mostly buried seed briefly glows white as a circle appears around it, spreading out like a single ripple in a still pond, before coming to a stop a small distance away.
Both Drakling and Dwarf stare at the Ore Seed as nothing else happens.
“Now, presumably, we just have to wait.” Inanna comments.
“Yeah...” The barbarian idly replies, staring at the faint circle perfectly centered on the buried seed. Is it there to indicate how large the ore will grow? Guess they’ll just have to wait and see. “How did you know to push it into the ground?”
“I didn’t.” The Dwarf shrugs her shoulders. “But it is magic, and it didn’t hurt to try. Now, how about we plant the others?”
“Sure.” Krvavy responds with a nod.
